"I'm glad I asked!" Donnar says as he catches the rope.
Taking a few steps back, he reaches up high on the rope as he can without straining. Then takes to strides towards the pit and attempts to jump across, using the rope to help get a little more height to his jump, and something to hold tight if he comes up short!
With the path, on the receiving side of the pit being equally narrow and surrounded by thick bushes and undergrowth, Milo and Menttal both backup to give Donnar a place to disengage from the rope. Milo, still a spider (I'm assuming), thus with is weight distributed over eight (8) legs doesn't think anything of the sort of 'bounciness' of the ground beneath and assumes it's just the think layer of pine needles. As Menttal backs up, too, the combined weight of the two heroes causes the ground beneath them to collapse.
That's right, another pit trap - equal in dimensions and attributes to the first pit encountered. That is, 10' across and 20' down with spikes at the bottom.
Menttal, make a dexterity saving throw to try to catch the edge as you fall - DC 15. If successful, you hang there for 1 turn in hopes that someone can help pull you up. 1d10 damage if you fail the dexterity saving throw. 1d4 damage if you succeed the dexterity saving throw, but nobody helps you up on the next turn and you fall with more control (now that you aren't surprised) to avoid the spikes.
Milo make a dexterity saving throw with advantage (because you have 8 legs to try to grab onto the edge) - DC 15. 1d10 damage if you fail the dexterity saving throw. If you succeed you are able to grab hold and climb out.
Donnar, you swing across the pit using the rope with no problems. However, the pine needles are slippery when landing (Menttal dropped straight down uncontrollably at the end of his swing, by contrast, and ended prone anyway). Make a DC 10 dexterity saving throw to see if you land solid on your feet or slide into the pit. If successful, you can help Menttal out of the pit if he's hanging on. If you fail, make an other DC 10 dexterity saving throw to grab onto the edge (why 10 and not 15? you are not surprised as you saw all that happened while in your moving to cross the pit). If you fail, 1d10 damage (to both you and Menttal if he's hanging on, because you now slide onto him making him fall. If Menttal has already fallen he doesn't take any additional damage). If you succeed, you can climb out.
"BLASTED!" Donnar roars as he swings to the other side.
The sight of the ground collapsing into another pit and his companions flailing to not fall in, throws Donnars concentration off. As his feet hit the ground, he overreacts to the chaos around him and loses his footing.
Stumbling he tries to grab hold of anything to keep from falling in.

Donnar slips into the second pit trap knocking Menttal's grip free. Donnar manages to hang onto the edge and climb out which Menttal falls uncontrollably into the pit, taking 1d10 damage.
The spider climbs up into the now even farther side. He moves cautiously this time, checking for any more dangers.
Perception: 15
After the commotion, Milo checks for more immediate dangers, but doesn't find any. There are old footprints leading up to his side of the pit, but everything else appears as if this calamity never happened. Normal forest noises and smells, nothing looks out of place. He turns back to look at the pit and sees Menttal at the bottom and Donnar climbing back out on the opposite side.
oog: Help each other out and to the other side of the pit, heal if needed, and I'll pickup once you are all on the other side (Lupe included) and heading further along the trail. Assume Donnar clears away the layer of pine needles for Lupe's jump across the pit.
Milo skitters back across the edge of the pit and up the tree the rope is tied to. When near the knot, he sends his thoughts to Donnar. "Hold the rope. I'll bite through the rope. I don't think I can untie the knot without fingers."
Lupe looks into the pit, then around the forest. He feels helpless and might leave soon if the commotion continues and he's further ignored.
"Okay. Yes." Donnar sputters as he grabs hold of the rope in his right hand, and dusts himself off with his left.
"Menttal! Are you alright? Of course you aren't! Are you hurt very badly? We'll have the rope down in just a sec!" He'll make sure not to move too much, but will peer down into the pit to see Menttal.
Milo takes the rope, climbing another tree. He ties the rope on an overhanging branch and waits in the tree for Donnar to cross.
From his elevated position he sends a telepathic message to Lupe (who is just on the edge of range for this ability.). "We'll be across soon, and you can join us on the other side."
Donnar, with sweaty hands from falling into the pit, hanging on, and pulling himself out, manages to just barely hang on to the rope as he swings across the second pit.

Menttal has connectivity issues, but on DIscord he said he throws the rope back to Donnar. ;)

Lupe yelps helplessly from the other side.
Milo sticks all 8 legs out simultaneously, frantically trying to catch himself.

"I'm fine!" Menttal shouts up.
After Milo bites through the rope, Donnar holds the bitten end back up towards him.
"Lets do it all over again Mr. Milo. Tie it off on a tree across the way. Ill get over first and then I can pull him out."
Milo and Lupe
Milo takes the rope, climbing another tree. He ties the rope on an overhanging branch and waits in the tree for Donnar to cross.

Hoping there isn't another pit to land in on the other side, Donnar holds tight to the rope and attempts to swing across.
