Ban looks at the door and the unknown and behind her at the legion of skeletons. She shakes her head and says to the assembled, "You lot sure never get a break, eh? Let me focus on whatever is going on here behind you. I have your back." The eladrin plants her feet, crouches, and readies an action to pounce on whatever has become of the Father's son. Looking to her hands, she prepares herself to grab ahold of whatever is on the other side of that door and lash it securely with her rope.

Round 1: Bob casts is two spells. A large mass of vines and grasping erupt from the ground in front of the entrance. Undead Save: 17 U2 Save: 11 U3 save: 10 U4 Save: 18 U 5 save: 20 U6 Save: 2 U7 Save: 9 U8 Save: 16 Bob's spell entangles 4 of the advancing undead.
Stepping back into the main church and grabbing a piece of sturdy-looking pew, Gimble moves to the "vampire" door and tries to brace it shut, yelling, "Someone get those front doors closed!"
Trying to recall what he read about historical battles and the way they braced doors against siege engines, Gimble tries to make an effective doorstop by spanning the pew section across the hallway and bracing it against the straining side door that held back the priest's now-undead son.

The courtyard is lit up by a bright flash of lightning allowing the party to see 4 undead archers just outside of Bob's entangled spell area, and behind them, something much larger with horns.
Tiododges the attack against her as she moves forward and brings into being her "Astral Arms". A wave of energy rushes forward from her and washes over the undead. U 1 save: 18 U 2 save: 16 U 3 save:18 U 4 save: 9 U 5 save: 9 U 6 Save: 14 U 7 Save: 13 U 8 save: 14
The energy washes over the undead 1 of the undead that is free and one of the ones entangled are the only 2 that take any damage from the energy.
Gillain moves up to stand alongside Tio. Gillain thrusts her spear and it breaks through rusty armor and bone as the blade goes clean through the creature. seeing the creature is still alive, Gillain rotates her spear, bring the butt end down upon the creature. The attack crushes armor and bone and the creature crumbles to the floor.

Seeing the carnage wrought by the entering skeletons, Gimble turns and holds up his brilliant cobalt crystal, intoning a few arcane words and gripping it tightly. An arcane thunderclap erupts among the skeletons in an eerie echo of the natural one, but this one has a devastating effect on their foes!
Action to cast Shatter DC13 Fortitude, 20 foot diameter sphere, can choose up to 3 allies to be unaffected using Sculpt Spell if needed to get all the skeletons.

((OOC: the map looks like there are still 8x skeletons. I thought Gillain killed one. Which one on the map is dead now? Or has another come to fill the gap? Also, are the archers the back four? Or did the arrows come from skeletons further back off the map? I think you said there were other creatures behind these skeletons, is that right? Do we know how many, and how far back? Do they look or sound like they are within 30ft or 60ft of Gillain? Thanks.
Also, Gimble’s shatter looks like it will be pretty epic!! I’d kind of like to see how that turns out before posting Gillain’s turn, as it could make a huge difference on whether Gillain still needs to ‘go nova’ or just mop up the last few. Thanks again))
As Gimble’s spell goes off, and the remaining skeletons attack again and move on the party, Gillain glances around, quickly trying to get a feel for how many are left standing nearby and farther out into the grounds of the church…

Action to expend a usage of Wild Shape and use the Symbiotic Entity ability (+12 temp hp, double Halo of Spores dmg dice, +1d6 necrotic dmg on melee hit). Reaction to use Halo of Spores (2d4 necrotic dmg on failed Con save DC 14) against the undead directly in front of him.

Admin to Gimble's spell: Once the spell is cast, and the damage is done to the undead, the party notices cracks in the door and the interior wall near the epicenter of the spell.

Dropping the items in her hands, the eladrin covers her ears in reaction to the booming spell. She looks to the skeletons in front and the precarious door behind her before making quick movements to attack. Ban unsheathes and throws a dagger at the skeleton in front of Bob in a fluid motion and leans in against the door next to her.
Round 2 continued: Banlaunches a dagger at the undead in front of Bob. The dagger flies true and strikes the creature. The blade smashes through the rusty armor and old bone doing enough damage for the creature to crumble to the floor.
Tio launches her attack on the undead nearest her. Both strikes of her fists covered in astral energy land and armor and bone chip away at the creature. The creature remains standing.
DM: taking liberty as to switching Gillain's target as the one she posted to attack went down.
Gillain, seeing her intended target go down by Ban's dagger, switches to the remaining undead closest to her and Tio. She thrusts her spear but the tip and blade are turned aside by the rusty armor of the undead. Gillain flips the shaft over, coming down on the undead with the blunt side. Her aim is true and the creature crumbles to the ground from the paladin's attack.
Almost sensing Ban's closeness as she leans on the door, a loud thud comes from the other side with enough force to cause Ban to be jarred from her position slightly. The door splinters a little and Ban sees an eye through the hole looking at her. From the other side she hears: "I can smell your blood." the voice says hungrily.

Leaning against the section of pew he used to wedge the vampire door shut and hoping it will keep doing the job, Gimble looks for an opportunity to help clear away an injured skeleton, calling down deadly cold on whichever one seems the closest to being re-dead (as opposed to alive, then dead, then undead).
