Into the Mists-The Condemnation of Strahd

With a quick hop, the eladrin unsheathes a second dagger and throws both at the ghoul that came from the south. Her stomach growls, and Ban takes a step back as she puts her left hand to her abdomen. 

Attack: 9 Damage: 5

Sneak attack: 5

Bonus action offhand Attack: 26 Damage: 3

((At the end of Gillain’s 2nd turn, (before the ghouls go again) she can repeat the saving throw against being paralysed. Is that right? If so, here’s her save for this turn (no other actions. I think the save attempt is her whole turn).))

Gillain’s constitution saving throw (DC10 or be paralysed): 7

Round 2: 

Toi: Streaking forward a couple of paces, Toi meets Ghoul #3 with 2 fists. The first attack staggers the Ghoul for a moment. The second strike, Toi's metal fist lashes out and strikes the creature in the middle of the chest. The creature's chest caves and limbs seem to move forward of the chest a few inches only for the Ghoul to buckle and tumble to the floor. The Ghoul will rise no more.

Gillan: Gillain's first attacks were made with skill and precision however, one of the Ghoul's claws was able to scrape Gillan's arm. Gillan stops a moment to stare at the cut, feeling something is not right. Her body shudders and she falls to the floor of the tunnel.

Ghoul #4: Undaunted by the calamity its fellows fell to Ghoul #4 lurches forward and lashes out at 6, Farris. the creature reaches out with its clawed hand toward the Elf and tries to sink its claws into the elf. 
Hit: 7
Missing Farris entirely.

Gimble: Gimble casts his spell Frostbite on the remaining Ghoul. A thin layer of frost etches itself across the creature and it seems to slow slightly. 

Ban launches a series of 2 daggers towards the remaining Ghoul. The first dagger misses its mark but the second throw is true and embeds itself into the chest of the Ghoul. 

Bob-Wolf rushes to Gillain's aid, hovering protectively over the paralyzed paladin.

Gimble:

Keeping up the pressure on the remaining ghoul, Gimble maneuvers for a clear shot and fires!

Crossbow:  Attack: 18 Damage: 8

Gillain sees and hears some of the battle going on around her and tries again to will herself to move...

Gillain’s constitution saving throw (DC10 or remain paralysed): 22 

With an act of shear will, she somehow shrugs off the effects of the paralysis! She looks around, ready again to react...

Tio will continue on towards the last ghoul remaining, again she will attack twice. One as her action then as her bonus action.

Attack: 22 Damage: 3

Attack2: 16 Damage: 6

Bob-wolf goes for the legs once more to trip the ghoul, heedless of whether or not the others had killed it at this point. He was out for blood. Or, you know, whatever the ghoul had left in it.

Attack: 20 Damage: 7

Round 3:

Toi moves to the last Ghoul and strikes the creature twice with her steel fists, doing damage.

With sheer will, Gillain breaks the paralysis and regains control over her body.

Ghoul #4 focuses on Toi and swings at the Warforge.
Hit: 19  12. Tois metal body is unaffected by the Ghoul's attacks.

Gimble fires his crossbow and the bolt flies true, striking the Ghoul in the chest. The bolt makes a sickening 'thud" into the undead flesh. The Ghoul is staggered but remains standing.

Ban remains silent for a moment.

Bob-Wolf lunges forward and attacks the Ghoul's leg, clamping down on the undead leg viciously. The strength of Bob's wolf form is evident as bob-Wolf pulls the leg off the Ghoul and it falls to the ground. 

The Ghoul falls to the ground and shakes for a second then ceases to move.

Seeing this Farris saves his attack just in case the creatures get back up.

End of Combat!

With the end of the Ghouls, what does the party do?

Gillain looks around at the grizzly scene and stretches the movement back into her limbs.

She watches Farris make sure the ghouls are truly finished off. “Nicely done Sir, and well met!”, she says, rubbing the life back into her neck, “I, for one, am very pleased you arrived when you did!!”. She turns to the other elf, “And the same to you, Miss!...”.

“I’m Lady Gillain of Athkatla, of the House Northmere in Amn, in the Lands of Intrigue. Knight-Apprentice under the ‘late’ Lady ‘The Rose’, The Pale Knight, knight errant of The Order of the Radiant Heart”.

“Although none of that really feels like it matters much any more... or maybe it matters more than ever?... I think I might owe you both my life...”.

Gimble:

"Is everyone okay?" asks Gimble, looking out over the others with concern, especially Gillain given her apparent bout with paralysis.

Just in case Tio will stomp on the last ghoul looking back to the Gillain “Are you okay?” Turning to Gimble “I am okay thank you Mr.Gimble.” As the new comers come closer “I am Tio, it is a pleasure.” Tio will bow gracefully. Her appearance is that of tall women with long black hair, wearing black gloves, and blue robes. She wears a porcelain mask.

The eladrin walks lightly to the noble Lady Gillian and puts a hand on her shoulder. With a reassuring expression, her silver eyebrows firm, she warmly says, "Life always matters, my Lady. The meaning of inner strength is providing hope for yourself and for those around you. As a Lady and a woman, you look like someone who has much will." Her stomach growls fiercely, and she excuses herself as she steps aside. The eladrin quickly opens a side pouch of her smaller backpack and then another.

Confused, she whips it over her shoulder and rummages through her pack and sighs heavily. She turns back to look towards the Lady's direction without catching her eye and quietly says, "Name's Ban, 'n' I'm outta bread. All hope is lost." Ban's stomach repeats its protests. She starts to slidedown with her back against the wall but stops halfway down abruptly. 

Ban snaps her fingers and continues in a now lighthearted tone with a brighter energy about her, "If you have anything to eat, consider us even and right as rain."

Where once was a wolf stands a round, hairy dwarf. He waves. "Bob Beezly, at yer service m' lord and lady!" He bows low and makes a sour face, smacking his lips with distaste. "One mo'."

He fishes around his myriad pouches until he finds a sprig of mistletoe. He whispers into his palm and when he opens his fingers there are ten plump, ripe berries there instead. Bob casts Goodberry and walks over to the clearly peckish eladrin. "Here ye are- Ban, was it? One berry should set ye right as rain, as ye say, fer the rest o' th' day." He hands her one and distributes the rest among the others before eating one himself.

DM: I placed an arrow on the map to indicate the party location.

The party gathers after this encounter, meeting the newcomers and having a short discussion. All done in the middle of this hallway intersection.
