"I'll be up a little while during the first watch, to discover more about these strange artifacts you all have discovered. I'd be happy enough to take the early morning watch as well, if needs be."
The remainder of the night passes without incident, although the rain continues to come down unabated. In the morning, the rain is coming down so hard that the far side of the road is not visible from your encampment. Budeim and Tin agree that it would be best to wait until the rain slows a bit before starting out.
By mid-morning the rain has slowed, and Budeim and Tin begin to get things ready for travel. As the party begins to move out down the road, the rain comes to a stop, although the sky remains overcast. About an hour on the road, Tin's horse, Sunchaser, comes to a complete stop. Budueim and the wagon just continue down the road. About another hour or so down the road, the wagon becomes stuck in a small bog at a low spot in the road. As the group is trying to get the wagon moving again, Tin comes trotting up on Sunchaser.
Tin rides up just in time to hear Quin's suggestion and says "That is what I was thinking myself. If we hook 2 or more horses up, I'm sure we'll be out of this mess in no time."
As the group starts looking at the wagon, the rear wheels are sunk nearly to the axle, while the front wheels are only about a 1/4 of the way sunk into the mud. Hooking Tin and Budeim's horses up to the wagon, and a little pushing soon gets the wagon out of the mud and onto solid ground again. With a grin Tin looks at Budeim and says "See, I keep telling Sunchaser is worth his feed."
"Eh, you'd be better off selling him to some farmer as a plow horse, or to the glue factory."
The rest of the day passes without incident, although some of the streams are flowing fairly heavily from the previous nights storm. But, the party is able to find some dry ground for setting up camp the next night.
Quiller will set up a small construct of twigs, sticks and stones, that when disturbed will make an audible sound, and disturbing it will say to the others, "If you hear something like this during your watch, rouse the others."
He will circle the camp site setting up these simple alarms, setting them out particularly in areas a sneaky sort might find tempting crawl, slither, toe-step or otherwise sneak with intent to do harm upon those sleeping innocently round the coals.
When he finishes his nightly preparations he, too, will consume a meal. "I'll take the mid-watch, I recommend two of us awake at all times."
When all is done he will lay down and go to sleep.

Quin will also consume a ration. He will take first watch and spend some time gathering enough fire wood for the night. He stays with in sight of the campfire. When his watch is over if no activity he will find a spot beneath the wagon to sleep.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Quiiler, when he rouses for the second watch with Lukas, will find himself a spot to sit facing outward. Once settled he will listen to the night, cataloging its various sounds, noting its rhythms and keeping alert for any untoward changes.
Perception 21
OCC well, a quiet night as far as he can tell, which, needless to say, isn't very far.
The night passes without any intruders coming in, other than the rabbit that runs unnoticed past Quiller. In the morning, the sky is finally clear of the clouds that had blocked the sun the previous day. The morning proceeds without incident as the group makes good time. Shortly after mid-day, the group comes across a southbound carriage that bears an elaborate crest on the door. The carriage is stuck in muddy section of the round, partially blocking the central portion of the road. One of the horses that pulled the carriage is laying on its side in obvious pain. The coachman is standing knee deep in the mud trying to get the horses and the carriage free.
There is room (and dry ground) for the wagon to pass around the carriage if you wish.
"aye, they're dead, we saved our comrades, and destroyed the wagon fort. now it will be in the hands of the guard when we reach the village."
Lorgar says with a grim tone in his voice: "At least one escaped.... We must organize a watch during the night. I can take the first shift."

Khoraj will take the last watch of the night. and he will see that coffee and hot water for tea greet the rest in the morning.
Quin tries to find a dry place to lay under the wagon.
"I'll stand watch with Lukas.". He offered.
