The group moves away from Ferrum who sits nonchalantly near the half-eaten corpse, watching you each intently. “Bring to me, any other food you may find...” he hisses as the party leaves.
Where would you like to go? What would you like to do? I have updated the map on the resource doc to include 3 black arrows indicating three ways to leave the cavern and continue through the dungeon.
Orro, snapping back to himself after hearing little idea regarding the group's next step, points to the southernmost western passageway. "That's the one right across from where the bridge was broken and trapped, so maybe that's where they don't want people to go? Let's try that."Orro says, looking around at the stonework in this passageway. Does it seem like the cavern is totalyl natural all around? Passageways included? Or is it just more roughly hewn. Also, as they pass by the bridge again, he glances at the remnants and tries to see if the bridge itself is a candidate for divine mending should it be necessary.
Orro: It does look as though the bridge could be mended, but the amount of effort it would require wouldn’t exactly be worth it. You would have to find a way to lift up both severed sides of the bridge in order to connect them, then find a way to reach the middle where it broke to mend that section. On top of all that, it is by nature just a crappy bridge. Who knows if even with the mending it would hold weight.
The cavern around the actual crevasse seems natural as if the rest of the house was carved around it. Most of the stone is natural, but there are manmade portions that correspond with where rooms of the house hav been made. No matter what, all of the stone in this area is incredibly old however.
(OOC: Good to know! I suspected as much with the bridge being snapped in two, and thanks for the stonework description!)
As we move from where we are to the southern portal, Orro will pause for 10 seconds and listen at each entrance to check if there is any noise coming from any of them.
The rest of the party follows as you make you say to the southern passage. After descending down a short set of stairs, you come to a narrow hallway that has two doors. One leading north on the map, and the other leading south.
Orro: Coming from the south door, you hear two gruff voices barking what appear to be commands in some language you don’t understand (Goblin. Let me know if anyone understands it). Also, coming from the north door, you hear some sort of mysterious rattling sound, followed by shouts and groans and a sudden gabble of voices.
What would you like to do? (Map has been updated) Additionally if the group is trying to be stealthy, please let me know. You may also each make stealth check if that is what you plan to do.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Vulmar nods in agreement with Daphina's observation. He thinks back to earlier misadventures. Sure, this was a little different than sneaking into the temple's wine cellar, but the general premise was the same. Don't get sloppy, and keep your head about you. He tries to pay careful attention to his footing as he follows, avoiding rubble and such as best he can.

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Another medical problem. Indefinite hiatus. Sorry, all.
You would hear the two gruff voices issuing demeaning commands of some sort like “Lick the floor” and “Roll like a dog” coming from the southern door.
However, as you walk down the hall, Kayassa randomly starts whistling— loudly. At this noise, the voices from the south door stop and begin whispering in unintelligible murmurings. You have maybe a few second before someone opens the door.
The noises from the north door continue and whoever of whatever is in there making the noise did not hear the group.

Kayassa stops her humming and pauses as she hears the voices, letting her staff free from the loop on her pack. She will ready an Eldritch Blast and let it fire off at the first seemingly hostile person or creature she sees.
With a small creak, the door opens to a crack. A furry humanoid face with pointed ears and a jeweled eyepatch covering on side of its face pokes itself out of the room and looks at the party awkwardly. A second of silence goes by before you, Duncan, feel resistance at the door. “Hey, you! What are you folks doing out here?” The figure growls, now in common. “You aren’t supposed to be out here! What are you doing?”
Duncan, please make an athletics check if you would like to attempt to hold the door closed, or else the creature will be busting through the door. Additionally, although it is not official, everyone may roll initiative if they would like. Combat has not actually started, but if that is the way you see this encounter going, then feel free to roll to get things started.
(Duncan do not forget to add a d4 because of guidance from Vulmar)

“Good idea! The one near the broken bridge seems safe.” Daphina nods at Orro. She heads to that passage and looks down it.
“Let us be done with this place then.” Duncan says, heading towards the southern exit.

”We should probably be quiet while we explore this way, there will probably be people.” Daphina suggests, sneaking down the passage.

Orro prepares a sacred flame for whatever first peeks its head through the door that looks unfriendly, staying back a couple dozen feet.
Daphina pulls out her shortswords and gets in a fighting stance.

Eldritch Blast: Attack: 12 Damage: 8
As Duncan moves up and prepares for combat, Vulmar clasps him on the shoulder. "May the Moonbow bring you swift victory."
