Seeing that they are not getting anywhere with the walls Kravek moves back to the doorslab mumbling to himself I will not be stopped by mere stone
He looks at it for a moment then turns to ask Does anyone have a piton? (thought Gilgin had one but looks like only Nyx has those)
If he can borrow a few he will use it together with his hammer to insert it into the stone doorway to create a weak spot. Then continue to drive it in with his warhammer. Once the first is in he will speak up again a bit winded Gilgin.. where do you think we should put in the other pitons.. to weaken this doorway?
(Kravek and myself assume Gilgin would know how to work with stone since he likes mining. Perhaps he can help indicate in which spots we should place pitons to weaken the door in order to bash it in.)
After that he will continue to place the pitons where Gilgin indicates hoping to see the stone door crack as the pitons do their work.
Are you trying to put the pitons along the etches, where it connects to the floor/wall/ceiling in an attempt to open it or more central in an attempt to break it?
picture:
To give you a visual. Just imagine it without the holes, made from marble and smooth walls without those large gaps.
Hifu pulls out his miner's pick to help Kravek. "I think we should hit it in the middle. I thought I had some pitons as well, did Boga have some in his gear? Hey guys, I figured my Warhammer out. Whenever we walked by that tomb out there, the hammer was glowing. I think that it starts to glow and alert me if there are creatures such as skeletons or zombies nearby. It's helpful, glad I know what it does now."

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Gilgin chuckles. “I’d love to help ye destroy this shoddy elven work here, but I think I’ve found an easier solution. When I closed and opened that door in there, it changed one of the signs, maybe one of the doors is already open! Anyhow, more importantly, we can lock ourselves in that room and rest up nice and easy!”

(ooc: I imagined it to be more of a sliding slab then a normal door that opens so he would of placed it a few inches from the edges to try and break a piece off. But if Gilgin can open them it might not be needed)
Gilgin slams his pike axe into the marble and chunks of rock start flying of. It only takes him a few well placed strikes to create a gap to leaver the pike in and pry the door open. When you do that, you can hear something break and the door is very hard to move, but with a little help from the other two, you can pull it open. You are quite certain, that this was not the intended way to open that door and that you either broke the lock or the hinges or both.
You look into the darkness outside and cold wind comes blowing inside. A few feet away you can see the weathered elven statues on their pedestals.
(Gilgin, after fixing the inner door and before breaking the outer one open, you would have had time to check, none of the other doors were unlocked. And assuming you take a look outside at the moon dial, only the picture that corespondents with the current moon is still glowing.)
James and Nyx move into the inner chamber where the druid was and with some evergreen branches, you make up some beds there. The rest of you, will you keep the outer door open or close it again? Do you want to do anything else or set up a long rest? (Getting close to 6pm now)
Hifu strikes up a torch and looks into the chamber that they just broke into, walking in if possible. Also he looks down to see if his Warhammer is still glowing in this area. "Do you think if we rest here that druid will come back? Does anyone have a bear trap? Didn't Boga have one? Perhaps we could set up something at the entrance as a little surprise in case we were paid a visit."

Gilgin casts Mending on the broken door, trying to fix the hinges. “Before we break up the place, let’s get James rested up. Hifu, ye said yer weapon detects undead? Well, even if something does rise my lord will pretect us. I can get it to run away, and then we can close the door and wait till morning.”
"Gilgin, do you think you can open the inner door, or should I breakout ole Mr. Mashem on it?" He bounces his warhammer up and down, all the while looking at it to see if it is glowing...

Gilgin yelps, ”Hifu no! I know you’re dead set on destruction but it’s nae time for smashing. Let’s go into the room, the door’s open, and stand behind the sarcophagus. Once there I’ll present my shield. As the creature flees, we close the door- Using the HANDLE! And sleep safely till morning, it cant be opened from the outside.”
Gilgin, you try to mend the door, but you don‘t see the broken part and it seams displaced so your attempt fails. (You can mend the chipped edges of the door, but not the hinges.)
James takes the offered meat and blow on it to cool it down before trying it.
"Mmm, that's pretty good Nyx, the meal should be great."
