Hifu bound Grek before, and he cuts his bonds free now, as Kravek still has his hand on his shoulder. Hifu makes sure Grek is not armed. "Ok, gesture of good will. Come over to us Trek and we can discuss where we go from here. We hope you see the sense of working together, otherwise the remaining of your tribe will be picked off one at a time by this creature. We do want to know if you have furs and clothes to be able to travel in cold weather." Hifu stands on guard, at the ready for any sign of treachery. "Shields up, mates and keep your eyes peeled."

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
„One moment please.“ Trex says something to the kobold next to him and the kobold quickly runs deeper into the cave behind Trex, just to return with an extra rope moments later.
„Just a small safety measure.“ Trex wraps one end of the rope around himself while the kobold secures the other end around a beam that holds the tunnel. Trex then climbs into the basket and starts pulling himself across the shaft.
Gilgin gargles and spits a phlegmy globule by the Kobolds feet. “Yeah, yeah we trust ye. I don’t trust those wings will get ye far though - where’d ye get ‘em? Looks like they were made by a child.”
Now with Trex standing next to you, you see that he carries a threadbare satchel and wears a fake pair of dragon wings made of thin wood and tattered white cloth.
„I do not know what warrants this hostility dwarf but I let you know, they are not meant to fly, but a symbol of my leadership.“ With this he starts to completely ignore Gilgin.
Towards the rest of your group he replies: „You were asking if we have furs to travel outside and yes we do, but the last year has taught us to only travel during twilight hours. You never know when a blizzard may strike. So my suggestion would be to stay in the mine and wait for dawn.“
Hifu says “I have a plan for how we may attack that creature, but Gilgin you may not like it. I am sorry my friend but you may be the perfect lure to kill this thing. We know that it floated up the shaft and is likely hiding right now, waiting for a solitary victim to come along. My mom and dad always told me about how hearty they were, against disease and poison. Likewise Gilgin you may be able to resist this creature’s attack. What if you (dressed as a kobold perhaps, or even wearing Trek’s wings!) went on a walk into that area upstairs on your own, we will folllow you. When it swoops down to attack, we will surround it and attack the creature. Kravek you will rush to the rear to cut off it’s escape route, since you are so tall it would have to fly past you to the shaft to escape down I guess, you will swing at it and block it. But if we all surround it we have a chance to kill it. We can bring it’s carcass back to town on a stretcher and show Mashtew and Trek can make his case to him. I know this is risky but I think this will work, what do you think?” Hifu pauses and looks at everyone. “Perhaps as brothers in arms we can bury the hatchet so to speak, and not into each other.”

”Hifu, that plan sounds insane....” There Is a deathly silence as Gilgin frowns at Hifu......“I love it!” Gilgin bursts into laughter, hitting Hifu on the shoulder playfully.
“C’mon Lizard-fairy, you heard dragon-boy, hand over the wings...” Gilgin looks at Trek, snickering.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
After journeying back to where the brain monster eas spotted, and after everybody gets in position, Gilgin will prance around in his kobold wings, rope tied to him (whos holding or did u want to tie it to a rock?).
His characerture of Trex is very unflattering as he play acts cowering before every rock and shadow. “Me dumb Kobold. Think i fly. Winks make me good boss. Watch me lie.” From his prancing, you can tell that Gilgin has had some experience in entertainment - surprisingly from his regular demeanor.

Though it seems he has experience, he doesnt seem to be well practiced or have much love for the art.
Sorry, for not being clear, Trex is completely ignoring you Gilgin, that included your wing request. Beside that he will bring two more kobolds (Scorb and Grek) as reinforcement, each of them equipped with a javelin and dagger.
Scorb was the one who came climbing down. He tells you that the Brain left upwards towards the first level of the mine.
Kravek will try to stay within range of Gilgin, shaking his head as he sees the dwarf prance around mocking the kobolds. Feeling certain he must of been dropped as a child. But also confident that any predator would see prey in such a confused creature.
Kravek will keep an eye on the kobolds, just in case Gilgins suspicious are correct and since Kravek cant see that far into the dark anyway. Should we go up to the first level?
“Yes, let’s go to the first floor. Nyx, is there anything you can do to make Gilgin look like a tasty kobold treat for the creature? Perhaps put Trek face on his chest!”

Nyx says, "I agree, lets do that. And while we do that, lets also find and kill the floating thingie that attacked us. That's no good for anyone."
He looks over Trex, "Do you have anything for a ranged attack?"
