“Well Hifu, I don’t think now’s the time for a rest boy! Haha! We’ve really got to get you to pronounce those R’s!” Gilgin peers down into the Abyss to see if he can see the bottom. “He, they say peering into the Abyss can drive you mad - what if you already are though...”

Kravek looks to the possible route and says I think we should go back and follow the other trail of footsteps. This is a dead end.
He will start moving back towards where James is standing, then look back to see if the others are moving as well. If not he will add Are you coming?
Kravek will then continue walking towards where they came from and will move to the edge of the T section still holding his torch, peering around the corner to see if anything is in view.

Hifu follows behind Kravek and James, getting back into our marching order. “Let’s follow the kobold tracks now.” He looks back at Gilgin “I haven’t felt fully well since that oversized rat bit me in the arse back there. Let’s handle these kobolds so that I can get a nap in soon.”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
James the creature you saw, was hiding from something and facing towards the direction of the mine entrance.
Kravek, Nyx: The tunnel opens up into chamber, it is reasonably clean there, no tools or loose rubbel. A table and chairs are set up in this area to create a space for people to take breaks. On top of the table, two kobolds are poking a giant rat with their javelins to make sure it’s dead. The kobolds look up and screech loudly as they notice you.
Round 1: Map
The one further away reacts first and throws his javelin at the huge goliath, but it uselessly bounces of Kraveks armor.
Gilgin, hearing a scuffle, again waddles through the tunnel making it behind Kravek. “Move ye big lump!“ he says as he crouches down to throw a handaxe between the Goliaths legs, at the Smol Kobold.
After blocking the javelin with his shield he runs forward to Grek while the others are attacking Smol. Moving forward with large strides he does not yet draw a weapon, instead he reaches for the kobold in an attempt to grab him.
When nearing the kobold Kravek streches his arm out and tries to grab Grek to hold him. When he wraps his hand around the kobolds arm he says Surrender or you will get hurt like your friend!
Movement: Running towards Grek Action: Grapple Athletics 22 vs kobolds Athletics or Acrobatics.
Grek Acrobatics: 19 Grek struggles and moves and you got trouble keeping him under controll, but ultimately your grip is to strong and the Kobold is traped.
Smol sees his companion being over powered and decides that staying is a bad decision. He steps away from Hifu and Kravek without giving them an opening and runs into the dark tunnel ahead.
Hifu picks up the javelin thrown at Kravek (“This might work better than a dart.”) and walks over to the kobold, binds his hands behind his back with rope. Slight of hand : 11
”Where was your friend going? How many of you are here? You better start talking now or my big friend here will start squeezing.”

As the others stand at the edge of the pit Kravek will walk towards the other wooden bridge to the right. The one they have not crossed yet.
He will check how sturdy it is but wont cross it. He will look back to the others seeing Gilgin speak into the pit Kravek just shakes his head.

Nyx will follow close behind Kravek, trying to peer around him with her superior darkvision.
At seeing the probable kobald above them, James ducks his head back and indicates to his companions to step away from the void.
Once they are back away enough that they can hear each other again, James speaks,
"I think I saw a kobald above us, back out over the void, where we were just minutes ago."
"I don't think it saw us and it's unlikely to have heard us with all the noise."
"I don't know how it got behind us, but it could have come in from outside, after we entered."
"We may want to set an ambush if they are coming down to this level, which I would guess they are."
James looks around, trying to think whether or not the group could hide in the room and jump any kobold's that try to descend the bucket and ropes.
Again James looks off like he is looking at someone in a part of the room with no one there.
A moment later, he nods and turns back to the others.
"This room is not going to be great to ambush from, and if there are more of them above, they could possibly ranged attack us from above."
"It would be like shooting fish in a barrel. I think we should push forward and look for a better place to fight from."
"Kravek, if you and Hifu want to take the front with Nyx, I will take up the rear with Gilgin, in case they attack from behind while we move forward."
"Agreed?"
