"I think I felt it when we first crossed over in the bucket, but didn't think much of it at the time, but I have been feeling it grow stronger as we got closer."

James turns the crystal over in his hands, examining it from all sides.
"This is definitely no mere rock. Can I carry it for now, in case something more comes from prolonged close proximity?"
James continues looking at the crystal, not looking up to talk to, or receive answers from, his companions.
“Hey James, let’s show this thing to Nyx as well, she might have some idea about it as well. Gilgin, are there any other areas to explore? Should we return to the others?” Hifu says. He stares at the strange glowing geode as well.
You look around, but it looks like that is the whole extend of the mine, beside the bottomless pit. You return back to the campsite on the first level, where already a tasty but odd stew is waiting for you. You see the Kobolds chatting with Kravek and Nyx. It is getting late and everyone is tired. The kobolds pile together in a corner with one of them is staying awake to watch while the others sleep. What are you doing?
By the description of the skull and the look of the crystal you guess it is a Psi Crystal. You didn‘t see one before, but you heard stories about them. A rare crystal that gives or enhances telepathy. The stories are unclear if they are created by Mindflayers or from Mindflayers, but in all tales the origin of the crystal is connected to the Illithids.
Gilgin settles down, watching with excitement as Nyx looks over the Crystal.
“All right, this could be a great find! Now, we gotta figure out who’s gonna keep first watch. Don’t want nobody stealing our finds.” He glares at the Kobolds as he says this.
Hifu says "I'll keep first watch. You guys get some sleep, let me know who's next, in the morning we will go back to Termalaine." He bundles up in his cold weather gear, javelin and war hammer at his side. I suppose we have set up a small campfire at the area. He eats one of his rations and keeps a lookout both above and the exits, and an eye on the kobolds.
