Killilli’s Dragon Heist

((Nothing else to do at this point for Aimee except for learning carpentry from the book Lyss bought her. Then off to the pepper man.))

((Pepper man tomorrow? Lyss proposes seeing what other shops in the area have for food. Also were we supposed to get the deed notarized somewhere?))

Later in the evening, a letter arrives inviting you to attend a meeting at Tyr’s Tribunal in the Trades ward at the crack of dawn tomorrow. Spark works away in his lab, as Aimee reads and Lyss gorges herself on the street food of Trollskull Alley. Kebops, Cripes, and Crunions are being handed out like hot cakes.....which are also for sale. 

As everybody makes their way to their rooms for bed. (Have you all bagsied your rooms?) Kerri is surprised to see.....

((Lyss had laid claim earlier to the Attic, and had suggested that Aimee take the one below her.))

((Does the letter for the meeting give any more details, or just asks us to be there at dawn?))

((Aimee does what Lyss suggested so far as rooms go.))

The next day, you attend the court to transfer the ownership of your property, the Tiefling magistrate seems to be distracted, and hurries the process along. Once you have signed your papers, she leaves abruptly taking a bag of coin from Volo, who tells you Renaer was so grateful he offered to pay for proceedings. Kerri’s letter burns deep in her pocket. 

(Off to the farm, or other business? Who signs the deed?)

((Aimee has no other plans and would sign the deed unless someone stopped her. She is of age so probably better than Lyss.))

As long as no one objects to a child signing, Lyss signs happily.

Lyss gives Mister Volo a hug around the knee.

"Thanks for the awesome place, Mister Volo! We're gonna make friends with Lif and open his tavern back up! My bedroom is awesome, a lot cleaner now that we've had some time to tidy up, but you'll see, we'll make it the place to be! You'll come by and tell stories to the crowd, maybe?"

((So when we woke up, had Spark packed up all his stuff and dipped out in the night?))

"And sign books!"

"Totally! We already made friends with the guy that runs the bookshop! Maybe we can have a special where people can buy your books at his place, then come over to ours and you can sign them, and do a reading!"

Kerri watches the girls with hesitation, but looks to Volo, "Could have mentioned the ghost." She says.

"Ya! Then we would have known to ask him about stuff from the start!"

Volo simply chuckles, “Well, well. What’s life without a few surprises eh? I’m not sure that Bookwyrms place could afford my appearance fee, but if you can get the old dragonborn to cough up a price befitting of my status I’d be up for it.” 

Bowing extravagantly, Volo takes his leave. “Well, I’ll see you around no doubt. Don’t get into too much trouble, and enjoy your new home, ghosts and all!”

((Will the deed be kept on file here, or do we need to find somewhere safe for it?))

(Yes it will be kept on file. They have a magical registry much like the list of spellcasters. The three of you left Spark banging away in his lab earlier, the expletives coming out of the room were particularly fierce.) 

"Yaaaa! Come on Kerri! We gotta hurry while they are still fresh!"

"Oookay," Kerri says, following.

Lyss reaches out to take one of Kerri's hands and one of Aimee's hands. 

"Yay! Pastries!"
