Cico's Dex Save (w/Advantage from Dungeon Delver if this counts as a trap): 15
As the door clicks open, Cico's eyes go wide as the steel balls come rolling and bounding out. He dodges quickly to the side, and high steps over a few others. Then remembers the rest of the group.

Aimee, facing away from the balls at the edge of the pit, watches happily as they fall off and ricochet around the spikes below. By sheer chance she moves so they miss her.
You nimbly dodge the silver balls, some enjoying the experience more than others. Metallic pings echo through the room as some of the balls bounce into the pit behind you. A slight buzz can be heard as some other balls roll under the arching electricity, slightly distorting their beams.
The door to the cluttered room lies open. Amongst the junk you begin to make out of the shape of used weapons and equipment, as well as the previously seen glints of coins and trinkets. It really does seem to be a snoopers paradise, though it would take some time to wade through the unusable to find something of value.
You can’t see any doors leading out of the following room, though you would need to enter to see the walls to the left and right as it seems wider than it is long.
Will you continue into the room ahead? Who will lead the way? The hallways are still 10ft wide before the room opens out so you can go two abreast if you like.

Aldrik takes the lead with Cico, hoping his keen sense of danger will help out, and he can hopefully keep the girls (and Eddie) from harm. "Don't worry, my dears. Between me and Cico, we'll make sure the path is clear! Hah. What a strange place."
If detect magic is still running, Edvord looks over the groups leaders shoulders into the next room and relays any magical auras that he sees as the group continues into the next room.
One of the metal balls rolls under Kerri’s foot, causing her to plummet to the ground (take that 8 damage)
Meanwhile, Lyss’s peek around the room reveals a wooden door on the leftmost wall. More interestingly, there’s a vague doorlike outline on the wall opposite the entrance where the bricks seem to be laid out in an unusual pattern to make that shape.
Edvord notices an aura of magic coming from the floor of the room, just as Aldrik and Cico are about to take their first step inside. They also notice what Lyss saw.
Edvord grabs at the back of Aldrik's and Cico's shirts, "Sorry... I am seeing a suspicious magical emanation from the floor... Maybe we should have Lyss take a look at it, or we could just try to jump over it."
(Assuming you take an action to do so) As Edvord looks more closely, he senses a ring of illusion magic on the floor amongst the clutter just ahead of Aldrik and Cico, there still seems to be a lot of magic pervading the floor of this room.
Cico looks back at Edvord he opens his mouth to say something about the hand on his shirt but sees Edvord's eyes looking forward into the room and stops. He registers what he's said as well.
"Is the magic over the entire floor," Cico begins. "Or just parts of it? Can you show us where?"
Edvord steps right up to the edge of the initial magic that he saw, "For starters there appears to be a ring of illusion magic right in front of my feet."The mage traces out a circle with his hands in front of him, indicating the size. "... I am also seeing magical auras creeping through some of the other clutter. May be best if I lead the way... follow in my footsteps... perfectly."
Using his special sight, Edvord begins to attempt to traverse through the room, setting an example of where to step for others to follow.
