"Hey, it's not attacking! It's a nice light! Hi! I'm Lyss, and that's Aimee, and Kerri, and Eddie and Aldy and Cico--y... I guess I can be a Lyssie. What's your name?!"

Edvord snaps back at Kerri, "I never touched anything... Mimics falling from the sky... echo chambers that drive you mad... What sort of death trap is this place."
Seeing the wisp float by the door, Edvord approaches the wisp and stands next to it. The mage does not open the door. He readies the spell booming blade set to trigger if Edvord or any of his allies are attacked. "Let us try this Lyss' way."
"What's your name? Where you wanting us to follow? There's a lot of dangerous stuff here, we don't want to follow you into a spike pit, or one with snakes, or one of those rooms were your nose turns into a slug and tries to eat your eyeballs."

"Really, really. You want to try this Lyss's way?" Kerri asks. "Maybe we should just stop walking into rooms assuming that they're going to be safe and not follow random creatures we dont know the motives of."
Cico, you have heard that these creatures are the souls of deceased evil mages, bound by dark magic to an endless afterlife feeding on fear and despair.
“I thought you were him…” the glowing orb seems to emit an eerie whisper “Maybe you can free us. I was once like you, lured into this deathtrap with the promise of treasure, but when the clock struck midnight I was transformed. Quick, if you follow me we can break the curse before it’s too late.”
Edvord looks skeptical, "Wait... what makes midnight so important? You have likely been here for some time... we happen to be a bit weary ourselves, what if we helped you tomorrow instead?"
Looking back to Kerri,"Despite her reckless appearance somehow Lyss has managed to make it this far in life... she must be doing something right."
"Recklessness leads to falling off cliffs and waking up with voices in your head, and I'm trying to prevent that," Kerri says. "And why should we trust you," she turns to the orb, "when everything else here has tried to either cause our death or turn others on us to kill us?"
“The Wizard who created this place has a sick mind, he doesn’t intend for anyone to escape. He and his sick friends open the champagne at midnight to toast whoever won their bet. If you don’t trust me you will just be another part of his collection.”
The wisps voice floats through the air, “As a humiliation, Kelier made that circle to reverse any magic inside it turning me into fluffy ball of lint. He is creative, who knows what he’ll do with you if you don’t hurry.”
There aren’t many tells from a glowing ball of light, but Aimee’s experience with formless voices allows her to home in on it’s tone. Seems a little too nice, like there’s some forced empathy in there.
"Ooooh! I think the glow thing is lying about something! It is talking like Madam Elre did whenever she wanted to make someone think she really was interested in something! All, "oh that's really interesting! Do go on!""
She redirects to the wisp,
"What's really up glowy? You trying to trick us into something newer and more death inducing?"
((Lyss would be not getting too close, but trying to get the door open... Staying far enough from it that if it goes for her, the others can blast it.))

"I trust it, c'mon glow ball!"
Lyss taps the side of her nose at Aimee.
Since it stopped at the door, Lyss will approach.
"Need me to get that for you? Let's go stop the circle curse thing!"
She'll open the door and let the glow thing start to lead them...
