Edvord remarks, "Thanks Lyss"and then grabs his sling and bullets from her pack. Whether the thanks was directed at her saving Aldrik or returning the sling is ambiguous.
Edvord readies a sling attack to be triggered in case a smoke mephit or other threat returns within visible range.

Muttering low to those around him the mage mutters, "Traps within traps within traps."
Aldrik swings and leaps out of the cloud, making his way to the glowing sword. Upon reaching it, he is able to identify it as a rapier if elvish design, it’s blade glowing with moonlight. (I’ll rule it as difficult terrain, so you can make it back to where you were but no further on this turn, your choice if you would like to end your turn back in the smoke or just before it.)
Kerri’s turn, then back to the top of the round. The mephit is hidden somewhere amongst the smoke in the pit below.
Kerri’s blessings give Aimee, Lyss and Cico a newfound confidence as they await the smoke mephit’s appearance from the pit. Aldrik is nearly halfway back, but not out of the woods yet.
The smoke mephit rises once again from below, only to be struck out the air by Lyss’s arrow. You all breath a sigh of relief as the threat is finally gone….
A short moment passes, before more smoke mephits rise simultaneously. Two heading towards Aldrik, whilst the other two beeline towards Aimee Lyss and Edvord.
Cindery ash flies up into Aldrik’s face, simultaneously the mephit flies above Aimee, Lyss and Edvord expelling ash onto the trio. (All 4 DC10 dex save or blinded)

Aldrik points his dagger at one mephit, shouting, "Bring war to these devils, Zauberjager!" and then swings his platform towards the same mephit, slashing recklessly with his blade.
(Double team to kill one ASAP, unless ZJ can solo one. Straight rolls due to reckless, rage has faded since I did not attack anything last turn nor taken damage. Attacks against Aldrik have advantage til my next turn.)

As a weird energy courses through Edvord, he looks over towards Kerri and nods his head in begrudging thanks. The mage braces as the ash from the nearby Mephit rains down on him.

Edvord moves into a position where he has a shot on the mephit harrying Aldrik. The mage lets loose a bullet towards that mephit before heading back down the corridor. "Spread out a little and try to bring the one close to us near the ground!"
Aimee's blast scorches a hole in the Mephit. With Edvord's sling bullet striking the same spot, it's looking very faint.
As Zauberjager swings at the closest Mephit to Aldrik, it zips out of the way, straight into Aldrik's overextended slash.
The Mephit's take a deep breath simultaneously. You hear a dirty sucking sound.

Kerri is up, then top of round. All 4 remain, 2 are circling just above Lyss, Kerri and Aimee, one looks particularly faint. 2 around Aldrik and ZJ, on has had a light shiving.

"Aldrik should jump faster and get out of there," Cico says.
He then looks up to see the mephits coming closer and starting to bother the others.
He backs up a little then hop steps, and jumps up, drawing his short sword as he does so to slash out at the closest mephit followed by a chop of his hand as he flails backwards when he begins to fall back down.
