Xyrfiel is sitting and eating and keeping an eye on Leucious. Xyrfiel spent the time traveling hunting some game, mostly rabits, squarels and small birds would have most likely still have some meat that she could have traded the Inn Keep.
"I have this meat I would like to give it to you in exchange you cook a portion of it, and some of your other sides, maybe add an ale."
You spend the afternoon and evening at the inn in this small village. While there you hear the following rumors in the common room...
•No one knows for sure what the Sunless Citadel once was, but legends hint that it served as the retreat of an ancient dragon cult. •The Old Road skirts the Ashen Plain, a lifeless area. A character who succeeds on a DC 15 Intelligence (History) check knows that the desolation is attributed to the long-ago rampage of a dragon named Ashardalon. A few locals also know this fact. •Cattle herders don’t graze their stock too far afield these days. They’re frightened by stories of new monsters that maraud by night. From time to time, cattle and people who have gone out alone at night have been found dead the next day, bearing dozens of needle-like wounds. No one has seen the creatures that cause this mayhem, nor do they leave a discernible trail. •The missing adventurers include a fighter (Talgen Hucrele), a wizard (Sharwyn Hucrele), a paladin of Pelor (Sir Braford), and a ranger (Karakas). Sir Braford was not a local, and he had a magic sword called Shatterspike. •Sometimes the goblins offer a different apple at midwinter. This apple is corpse-white and poisonous, even to the touch. No samples of either apple are to be had. •Garon, the barkeep of the Ol’ Boar Inn, remembers the last time anyone, aside from Talgen and Sharwyn, asked questions about the Sunless Citadel. About thirteen years ago, a grim human named Belak stopped by, and he had a very large pet frog.
There is also a buzz in the town, about a group of adventurers who just went to the Sunless Citadel that very morning, before the main group arrived. Onu would have seen them heading off, after speaking with many of the villagers.
You have an uneventful night in the inn. Those who can not afford the stay are given a place to sleep on the floor in the common room, as no one is turned out in these times.
The next morning you wake to the now-familiar tugging from something in the distance. It is much closer than last time, a bit outside of the town it seems. It does not lead back towards Conyberry though.
Had Thenid's creature in question been something other than an undead or a construct, Yuno would have happily joined him in his mission. However, the fact that the creature haunting Conyberry was a banshee of some kind, put Yuno off somewhat. Still until this morning, Yuno was conflicted because she did not really have a good idea of where to go next or do next. She just stayed in the common room and absorbed a bunch of rumors. However this morning with the tugging she felt, she decides to head that way but not yet. She waits for others to wake up first though.
Thenid wakes in the morning, and notes the new tug in the direction opposite that he needs. He glances off in this distance, wanting to solve this mystery, but also wanting to pay his debt. "I understand that you all feel this pull. I feel it, but I will complete this mission I have first. Hopefully I can return and find you all, and maybe we can solve this mystery...."
He turns finally to Xyrfiel who he first met, and bows. "Regardless my lady, I am sure we will see each other again. It seems destiny has brought us together for a reason "
He will then whisper to her:
Be aware of the one called Onu. He is a sly trickster and possibly a thief, and I have some memory of him, it seems I hunted him in a former life. I do not think he is a murderer though, but bears watching.
Is Wris waiting for the others or heading out on his own?
Does Yuno, and the others, let Wris go alone or are you going with him, regardless if he wants you to or not?
Thenid packs up and is soon leaving, but heading back to the West now, towards his obligations in Conyberry. (We will move this to a PM.) Anyoone going with Thenid or are you letting him go alone?
Ok, I am still waiting on responses. We have a couple people who are posting often but getting the rest of you back on track is getting frustrating to tell the truth. Right now we need to know who is going where. See below...
Onu wakes up on the floor of the Inn, wrapped in his cloak and dozing lightly. Seeing the party dividing up, he seizes up his opportunities and decides to follow the group headed towards 'the pull'. So far that pull led this group of misfits towards things of value - and Onu likes things of value - or at least he thinks he might have once.
'You lot don't mind if I tag along do you? I feel as if there might be some safety in strangers sticking together in these parts.'
(thanks - editing my post accordingly - I don't know why I assumed she was big ;) )

"I shall miss you friend." Xyrfiel replies to Thenid.

Wris takes leave of the inn and heads towards the pull.

Assuming no objections from Wris, Yuno goes with him otherwise she goes with someone else that's heading that way
Wris would be happy for the company. The more the merrier.
