Alright. We will assume Voyage along with each of the NPCs takes full rations. Nicholas is able to find 5 lbs of food. I have updated the food stores on our resource doc.
The night of rest goes by without issue, and soon the party finds themselves back on the road. Travel continues successfully for 2 more days before anything of interest happens.

As you traverse your way through the winding tunnels of the Darklake, you begin to see the ceiling of the cavern slowly sloping downwards. Looking further down the passage, it’s seems as though it continues to slope downward to where one must duck or even lay flat on the boat to avoid getting hit. This point is about 30 feet away.
"Should we be venturing forth? I don't know if we will be able to defend ourselves if something attacks us," Nicholas would ask warily even as he starts to flatten himself against the boat.

The party is able to all duck and although the boat scrapes against the wall in a couple places, the framework doesn’t seem to sustain any major damage. Overall, everyone is safe and the time to rest soon comes.
Thodek, I need a navigation survival check.
Is everyone fine with eating goodberry and water from create or destroy water? With only 9 members left and provided both Thodek and Cailean have enough spell slots, it could make rations in general much easier, as it offers a portion for everyone while also essentially eliminating the need for foraging.
During those two days of travel, at some point, while there is relative calm, Topsy and Turvy would walk up to one of the surface dwellers and tap you on the shoulder.
”Turvy and I were wondering if you could tell us anything about the surface world. We’ve never been anywhere close to the surface. What is it like?” She asks timidly as her brother peeks out from behind her shoulder.
At the twins question Nicholas would smile, "Come and sit down and I'll tell you. I think the biggest difference is the space and the light. Where down here we are confined to caves and tunnels, on the surface we have boundless space. It's like living in a cave so big you can never reach the walls. There is also the sky. The sky which is blue, is something above our heads. No matter how hard we try, it can't be touched. Birds fly across it and there are white fluffy looking things called clouds . There is also the sun and moon, which are sources of light. The light of the sun is hot and yellow-orange while the light of the moon is silvery and gives no heat. That's the light part. The surface has is in full light for half the day and in darkness for the other half which we call night. The sun provides the the light during the day and the moon and other little spots of light in the sky called stars provide light during the night."
A look of nostalgia comes across Nicholas' face as thinks of home, "Another thing that is different is the colours. On the surface we are surrounded by colours of all sorts. The blue of the sky. The white of the clouds. The green of the grass and trees. Flowers in all sorts of shades of bright colours. Even the animals can be brightly coloured too."

Both children look at Nicholas with wonder as he describes the surface world. A couple other members like Jimjar and Derendil slowly drift over, listening from a distance. Once he finishes speaking, Topsy says. “The Underdark can have many colors too. At night, thousands of multicolored glowing mushrooms illuminate all of Blingdenstone. It’s beautiful...”
Turvy then shifts and timidly speaks. “You seem to miss it. What is it you miss?”
"Is that so? I would very much like to see the colours of Blingdenstone one day then. Hopefully sooner than later," Nicholas would say in equal awe as he hears about parts of the Underdark that are perhaps not as dark or as dangerous as he has seen thus far. Turvy and Jimjar's questions however give him pause and he takes a moment before replying, "What do I miss? Everything. The touch of the breeze upon my face. The smell of fragrant flowers. The tall majestic trees going on for as far as the eye can see. The feeling of freedom when one looks upon the sky. It is home to me just as this is home to you. As for who I miss. I miss my family. I hope they have not heard that I was captured else they would be worried sick. And I miss my mentor Flex. He was with me when I was captured. I know not if he was captured too or even if he survived the raid...."

"If you never see your family or mentor again, at least you'll have ten gold. A practical approach to an otherwise emotionally-driven sentiment," she says as she gets comfortable to rest. "I, too, miss the colors. But this is an intriguing place with much to study. If one survives long enough to do so, that is."
Thodek listens to the tale of the surface just as intently as the others, curious about what might be his future, if they make it out alive. As the group settles down, he'll prepare water for them and settle himself down for another night on this strange journey.
Nicholas would chuckle, "Funny thing you know. When I was on the surface I wanted to get away from my family to prove myself. Now that I'm apart and down here I want nothing more than to return. I guess one never knows what they have lost till they have lost it."
With that last thought, Nicholas would too excuse himself to settle down for the night.

The rest of the night goes by without issue or anything of interest. With Cailean now being able to completely sustain the party, there is no need for foraging, but unfortunately, Thodek’s navigation was unsuccessful. Due to this, the two days of travel do not count towards the trip total, leaving you at only 1.5 days of successful travel.
Needless to say, after a nights rest, the party continues to travel to Neverlight Grove. Again, you find some parts of the Underdark to be calm— almost peaceful. Who know if it is just the nature of the Darklake, but passing through the multitude of underground caverns and tunnels, you are able to get into somewhat of a routine. 5 more days of travel pass, before while resting, out of nowhere, with a small pop, an orc-like figure materializes on the center of the boat.
This figure wears flashy scholar-like clothes gilded with gold, and as it looks around the boat confusedly, the Orog speaks. “Wh..why hello? Is anyone there?” He asks in crisp undercommon.
Syvis stares at the orog blankly for several moments before responding. "Greetings, large one. How and why have you arrived in our boat? This is quite unexpected. Tell me, do you speak common? Some of our group are not familiar with this tongue and would, likely, be more comfortable if we communicated in a manner they understood. They are easily provoked so it might help to put them at ease."
The well dressed Orog responds quickly in common— similarly crips.“Well um-huh... funny story actually. I was uh.. studying a patch of faerzess. I had concluded my observations and uh...attempted a teleport spell to return to my colleagues. It seems the spell may have uh... malfunctioned. Hmm... interesting” He then pauses, thinking deeply.
The Orog then looks up sheepishly ”Of course. I am a member of the uh.. Society of Brilliance. We are studying what we believe to be a set of... uh... demonic incursions which is assumed to be the causes of said faerzess.” The orog continues.
”Oh-uh.. silly me! You don’t know what faerzess are, you? I’m sorry—oh... my name is Blurg.”
Nicholas would look very confused at the Orog's discourse. Fortunately this creature didn't seem like it was hostile. Turning to the rest on the boat he would ask, "Are any of you following this?"

Is there any land on either side of it?
No, in fact the passage also almost seems to narrow. It seems as though the boat might barley be able to make it through the constricted passage.

"This is the direction we need to travel. Besides, what could attack us when we're practically sealed inside the boat by the cave ceiling?"

“I’m sure you’ll see them again!” Topsy says optimistically.
”We will make sure,” Jimjar adds. “I’ll bet ten gold on it.”
After that, the small crowd disperses, and begin to prepare for the nights rest. If there is not any more RP, we are good to move on.
