Syvis zeros in on where Syvis might be before calling upon her elven lineage to cast the spell sleep. Sure enough, you see several bubbles pop up where Vistra was, leading you to the assumption that the spell worked and Vistra is now unconscious in the water about 30 feet ahead.
What would you like to do?
In that case, no spell, Thodek would try and wade out there and drag her back to shore.
Voyage will look to the others. "I hate to be the one to say it, but perhaps we should just kill her now? Having such a creature out here bearing a grudge against us is...troubling. Our journey will be difficult enough without this thing hounding us."
"Agreed," Syvis says flatly. "She has proven quite resilient thus far. Perhaps it would be expedient for several to gather 'round and deliver a final blow before a single wound can wake her." She approaches the hag's motionless form and draws her shortsword with an intense look in her eyes.
Cailean takes the kids away and begins entertaining them for a distraction. Jimjar and Derendil both draw closer and seem prepared to do what must be done.
Vistra is currently unconscious meaning all attacks are made with advantage and anything that hits will be an automatic crit.
Syvis stands over Vistra, hold her shortsword point down and plunges it into the hag's chest.
Attack: 15 Damage: 22 (3d6 doubled for crit)
EDIT: Having trouble wielding the sword in close proximity (preferring projectiles and easily-concealed daggers), she quickly raises a dagger and follows suit with her bonus action (hopefully hitting this time).
The attacks of you three easily finish off the lip form of Vistra. With the first strike, he eyes shoot open, but she quickly gives a defeated gasp before laying still on the sand.
The hag is now defeated. What would you like to do?
Thodek will catch the body before it falls in, and carefully lay it out, searching quickly for anything of use or value, then pushing her gently into the water.
(Is there any more room on the beach where we found her? Such as a place she may have a home or lair or something?)
Thodek: At least in this inlet area, it does not seems as though the hag had any sort of lair. She also doesn’t seem to have anything of value on her body. To you, it actually seems as though her story might have had an element of truth. She seemed to be on her last leg based on tattered clothes and without the food your party had provided may have perished.
Voyage will look move to her now customary spot at the head of their boat. "All the more reason for us to avoid Gracklestugh.Let's keep going. That was...enough of a distraction."
And so the party gathers themselves and prepare to continue their journey. Some sullen, others relieved, you are quickly able to set sail again, and finish the days travel.
Nicholas, please make a foraging roll with advantage, and Thodek, please make a navigation check.
Other than that, if there is any RP anyone would like to do during tonight’s rest, now would be the time.
Once they settle in for the night, Syvis approaches Thodek solemnly with eyes downcast. Looking up to meet his gaze, her voice is soft but still retains its cold, measured tone.
"I allowed emotion to drive my actions rather than calm reason. Prematurely disposing of Vistra's body might have proven negligent had she possessed anything that could have been useful in our struggle. I apologize for my indiscretion and thank you for remaining steadfastly practical. I will endeavor to do better."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Thodek Navigation: 5
That is successful. I looked at the module and it says that it takes 26 days to go from Sloobludop to Neverlight Grove (What I had initially said based on the mileage was completely off). That brings us to 1 and a half successful days of travel.
One last things I forgot to say earlier was rations. I also need to know what amount of food everyone eating. I know Syvis eats full then half for three days and full water. If everyone wants to let me know an eating “schedule,” it could help things move quicker.
(Sorry to go missing there for awhile, holiday's are fun. Thodek would be eating full ration and purifying water for the group whenever they need. Purify Food and Drink)
Thodek smiles at Syvis, "Don't trouble yourself about it, we all get caught up in things sometimes. One thing you learn in a smithy though, be patient and be calm, striking in anger or haste ruins good iron."

Once back ashore, Thodek nods, a little regretfully, "It's a shame, but I don't think she can be redeemed, I will hold her, you all strike."
Cailean takes the kids away and begins entertaining them for a distraction. Jimjar and Derendil both draw closer and seem prepared to do what must be done.

Voyage will also strike with her shortsword, hoping to finish off Vistra if Syvis's strike doesn't end the hag.
Attack: 21 Damage: 14
(Damage is 2d6 for auto-crit)
With a grim look on his face, Nicholas would draw his shortsword and likewise stab the sleeping hag.

With a grim look on her face, Syvis silently stabs the hag once more for certainty. She stands straight and kicks the body into the water.
"I do not appreciate having my attempts at sympathy toyed with."
She returns to the boat with the children and sits wordlessly to wait for the others.
