"But do we need to head to Hundelstone right away? I think Bryn Shader should be our first stop," Bjorn would suggest as he looks at the map, "I also think its probably best to avoid whereever Griggle is headed for now given our last interaction."

"Thank you, sir; thank you, ma'am." Nods at both of them. "I agree with you Qinfaren, we better get going." He then looks a the sledge and goes on. "Since we have a means of carrying that, maybe we could try and get ourselves some timber just in case we need to camp in the open?"
He then looks at the map and addresses Bjorn "If I'm not mistaken, Bryn Shander is part of the Ten Towns, so we'll pass through Hundlestone to get there anyway. About Griggle though, I don't think he holds any bad feelings towards us, at the end of the day, we ended up helping him to get away from Fireshear." He adds in a whisper into the goliath's ears.
OOC: Can't remember now, do we have tents and blankets/warm sleeping sacks?
Shad will sign and pull his coats tighter around him. Dang Cat Lord, he thinks. Making me go north.
Not seeing a cast iron stove or anything similar on the sledge, he'll look for tents, or similar shelter, and food. He hopes for fish. "If we're sure we have everything we need, I'm ready to go," he will say.
Lennart adds to Qinfaren, "That's right, you get paid from those recipients. It should be five gold pieces each."
Kalannai then speaks up, "I doubt that you will encounter Griggle again. Very few ships make it this far north and even less travel over to the Ice Peak. He will be stuck at Aurilssbarg for a while." She then shrugs her shoulders. "That's why I'm surprised he headed over there in the first place. Though, if I recall, they do have a blacksmith there."
"As for provisions, I couldn't afford anything else with what I brought with me. You'll have to see to that yourselves, if you didn't buy anything in Luskan or Aurilssbarg that is."

Arogna looks at Kalannai with a frown of concern. "I got my bedroll, an' Mr. Bassk's uniform that he give us, but I ain't got nothing else for keepin' warm. Not that cold bothers me a lot, but it will some'f us." She says this last with a glance at Shad. "You got a place in the town that'd sell us any of that stuff? I'd a thought you might be usin' all the tents yourselves like."
Shad is bothered by the cold, but he has two shoulder-to-ankle length coats he wears one over another. Both are Luskan made and white in a way he hopes blends in with the snow.
"I've a bedroll, but is it enough?" he says. He'll follow up on Arogna's question. "Are there tents on the sledge? Maybe cots? Sleeping on the ice under an open, frozen sky won't be good for us."
Kalannai smiles, "I think there might be some tents left at the Crafty Trading Post. It's to the north and you come past it if you take the main road to the north through town."
Lennart adds, "If there is nothing else I can help you with, then I am going to silver if Captain Silvermane needs help with the ship. I hope our paths will cross again."

"I hopes so too, Mr. Bassk," Arogna replies, a bit more quickly and eagerly than someone might if they were just being polite. Then she looks a little flustered, and adds, "Cause that'd mean we didn't get ate by anything, like. Haha." She inspects the bindings on her hammer, though they are very sound.
Muharg raises an eyebrow and smirks behind his beard at Arogna's reaction.
"Let's hope so, sir." Says as he shakes the parcelmaster's hand.
He then turns to the rest "Shall we, then? I think we could stop by the Crafty Trading Post and get ourselves a couple or three tents, don't really like the perspective of sleeping under a snowfall."
"Thank you, Mr. Bassk," Shad says, "and thank you for mentioning the tents, Kalannai." As they leave, Shad will turn to the others. "I don't want to forget anything. What are we not thinking of," he says. "Any one have map making skills? Or even interest?"
Qinfaren nods his thanks, hitches his back up and starts towards the main road heading north, urging the dogs along with the sled telling them to let him know if they get tired and he can take a turn pulling the sled instead.
"I've heard that some people can make a tent out of snow," Qinfaren says. "Is that true, Bjorn? And that it's warmer than being in a tent? That would be something."
He looks at the town as they head through it, marveling at the people who choose to live here in and the efforts it will take them to rebuild. He also keeps an eye open for the Crafty Trading Post.
"Hopefully we won't have need of any tents, cloth or snow, but I agree it's probably worth tossing a couple on the sled."
Shad follows Qinfaren. He eyes the dogs as they go and alternates between wrapping his arms tight around his torso and swinging them wildly to stay warm. "Tents out of snow? Are you sure?" Shad glances between Bjorn and Qinfaren. "How do they keep it all from falling in?"
Muharg walks along with his companions tilting his head at the mention of tents built out of snow. He then looks at Bjorn waiting for the goliath to answer, and hoping for it to be in an affirmative way.
"Tents made out of snow...I'm not sure..." A confused look would cross Bjorn's face at the question before a sudden realization hits him, "Oh you must mean igloos perhaps? Those are made of ice more than snow. It is built as homes for those who live close to frozen lakes and hence have good access to the ice. It's not something we could build quickly and definitely not each day to rest. Furred tents and bedrolls would serve our purposes best. I will use my knowledge of the land to keep us safe as best I can, but it is better to be over prepared. The wilderness of the north is not to be underestimated."

After a short while, you see a sign outside of a building that has managed to escape destruction from the activity of the mephits. You are reminded of the market place that you encountered on the eastern side of Fireshear, where you encountered the smoke mephits. That place looked abandoned after their appearance of the mephits.
Thankfully the Crafty Trading Post appears to not have been abandoned as you see a young man walking into the building.

"An ice house sounds kinda fun, though," comments Arogna. "But sleepin' under furs is best. If we kill a wolf or somethin' like, we oughta sling it on the sledge an' skin it. All helps."
Shad will walk into the Crafty Trading Post. He will find a likely looking clerk. "I'd like one warm tent, please," he says, taking out his bag of coins. "Extra large, if you have it. Also, a warm sack for sleeping in." He is happy to spend money on gear that will protect him from the weather, including boots and hats, if they are in stock.
