Saravena looks into the bunker and manages to catch the glimpse of someone inside. He is about the size of a dwarf, he has no hair on the top of his head, but he also has ashen grey skin. Then he seemingly disappears right in front of Arogna's eyes. Then the sound of soft footsteps can be heard before a trap door in the middle of the bunker opens and closes.

“The secret we should never let the gamemasters know is that they don't need any rules.” ― Gary Gygax
Qinfaren watches Arogna and Muharg race over to the bunker and makes out from their excited shouting that whoever was there is now gone.
He turns back to the doors to the fortress and looks at them for cracks or gaps that lead to the either side - something an insect or spider could slip through if needed.
Shad finds no way of climbing the outside of the fortress, and even if he managed to climb to the top, it is uncertain as to if there would be a way into the fortress up there.

Qinfaren thinks about slipping through a crack in the doorway, when he spots the frozen river leading into the fortress.
"That was probably harder to navigate when it was running water," Qinfaren says pointing out the river to the others. "Want to give it a try?"
He then makes his way from the door down to the river, using his staff as an extra appendage to prevent slipping. He taps the ice several times to check the thickness.
(Survival Check - to see if ice looks like it will hold their weight - 18 )
Muharg looks at the culvert and nods at Quinfaren. "Arogna, give me a hand here, will you? Qinfaren, will you guide my muscles on this?" Calls as he runs towards the iced river and tries to break the bars.

Shad reconsiders the culvert. Maybe, if the ice is slick, that can work for him, Shad thinks. He Investigates to see if the gaps between culvert and the grate are large enough to acrobatically squeeze through: 20
He is also watching the snow for foot-sized holes that suddenly appear, perhaps indicating the presence of invisible dwarves: Perception 21
Qinfaren taps the ice with his staff and confirms that the frozen river should be solid enough to support your weights.
Muharg tries to bend the bars with the help of Arogna and Qinfaren, but they don't even bend slightly.
Shad examines the bars, but he can't be certain if he could squeeze through or if he would get stuck. Although, a much smaller creature could easily slip through. When Shad checks the snow, he doesn't spot any footprints in the snow. It seems, out here, you are alone.

“Bah, all this ice doesn’t let me get a good stance to pull hard enough, We’ll have to find another way. Qinfaren, would it be worth that you turn into something samll enough to walk through the bars or would that hinder you too much for what may come later?”
"Them bars ain't goin' nowhere, are they," Arogna scowls. "Your kin build strong, Muharg. But one thing I'm guessin' is they aren't wantin' our help here. D'you think they got the stolen stuff an'all? They sure ain't friendly."

Qinfaren looks around and notices that the easiest way to enter into the fortress is to follow the frozen river.
