"Nothing wrong in that," Arogna mutters when the captain comments on her orcish views. When he finishes, she looks at the captain and around the group, "So what, you're just going to let him take passage and run around on the ship? He ain't safe. He'll start some experiment with that junk he packed, and you'll wake up with your hammocks on fire, or halfway to the bottom of the ocean. Honestly, Mr. Bassk, it ain't safe," she appeals to her employer. "He can go invisible, who knows what else he can do? And he doesn't care about anyone else. At least lock him in a cabin, and take away that backpack. Then I won't have to see him, either. I don't want to lose my job over this idiot."
"Oh no, I'm not getting involved," Lennart replies. "This is not my ship, and I don't have any say. You might be my employee, but I'm still just a passenger on this voyage."
"Well, of course, he can turn invisible," chuckles the captain. "What duergar can't?"
He parts Griggle on the back and pushes him forward.
"Tell her, lad"
Griggle, who had barely said a word since boarding the Icebreaker, steps forward and begins.
"Well, actually some of us cannot turn invisible. On the other hand, some can turn invisible more often than I can. I need to rest in between each time I turn invisible."
"You see, it's completely natural. Though what is less natural, is the fact that he is up here instead of down in the Underdark, but I'm not one to judge. And can you blame him for being a little selfish?"

"Oh, he's a friend of yours, huh?" Arogna says to the captain in a tone of some disgust. "There it is, then. I gotta stay behind in this half-burned dump and quit my job and these guys, or I gotta go on this ship with an invisible criminal [orc word meaning "one who does not understand or care for the needs of the tribe", translating approximately to "sociopath"]. Fine." She throws up her hands and shoulders in an outsized shrug. "If you think it's safe, doesn't matter what the dumb mountain orc thinks. I need the money enough that I gotta put up with it. Tell you what, I'll lock myself in my cabin. With a bottle of rum, if anyone's got one to sell me. And you," [to Griggle] "you better stay the hell away from me." She turns and stomps towards the hatchway leading below, pulling Griggle's gold from her pocket and looking around to see if any of the sailors might have rum to sell.
Muharg gives a concerned look at Arogna as she storms away, "Gotta talk to that one" thinks to himself slightly shaking his head.
He then turns back to the captain. "You are the law aboard, sir. It is indeed up to your judgement to determine the travel conditions of this individual and we shall all respect your decision."
Adjusts his belt. "However, If I may state my opinion, the best solution would be to lock him up in a cabin and confiscate his belongings until we hand him over to the authorities. Either in Aurilssbarg or, preferably, here in Fireshear, where he wreaked havoc, on the way back."
Shad has been listening to the discussion of duergar abilities, but also talking to Qinfaren. "The Cat Lord has been driving me north for years. But you are right, my homelands are far to the south, where the air is warm, the breezes gentle, the water distant." He shifts under his coats. "But I should say, tabaxi wander widely, from world to world some say, and go by many different names. We are a curious people." He yawns again, teeth sharp. "But how about you, Qinfaran? Firbolgs are rare things. How would you describe your home?"
"Well, I wouldn't try to barricade yourself your cabin," Silvermane calls after Arogna. "If the ship does go down then you will want to be able to get out quickly."
Afterwards in a more normal level of voice.
"I don't really understand the problem. You boarded the Icebreaker in Luskan which is not exactly a city of law and order. Then the only reason why anyone comes this far is because they're outcasts, fugitives or pariahs."
He then turns his attention to Griggle.
"Now that the situation is diffused, we can talk about your payment for the voyage on my ship."
Griggle pulls his backpack off and places it on the floor. Then he opens it up and pulls out another silver bar, similar to the three that he has already given you.
"I don't have a lot, but I can give you this bar of adamantine."
Silvermane examines the bar before taking it off Griggle and testing it for its weight.
"Adamantine? I could make use of this. This will do just fine. Though I would recommend that you stay away from that lass," Silvermane says, before turning to Lennart. "I'll leave the rest with you." The half orc captain then makes his way in the direction of his cabin.
Lennart then steps forward to address you all, "From here we will making our way to Aurilssbarg, it will take a couple of days. Best to get plenty of rest."
Muharg stays where he was, looking at the wooden floor of the Icebreaker deck in front of him, a deep frown, clenched jaw and tightly close fists. “This is not right” He finally mutters to himself as he walks with a huff to try and find Arogna.
Qinfaren smiles as Shadow describes his life and the warm gentle breezes.
“It might not be as warm as you would like, but my clan lives in an area of gentle rolling hills, with thick forests and wide valleys. I traveled the whole area but often returned to my home in the village. Nothing like these homes here, just a single level made of logs with a large fireplace in the middle.”
He then stares up at the town, and the wisps of smoke.
”You could pass through the valley and never know we were there. We don’t interact with outsiders very much. But these are different times.”
Shad says to Qinfaren, "What do you mean, 'these are different times?' How have things changed in your valley?" As he asks that, he overhears Lennart. "Aurilssbarg?" says Shad. "Sounds lovely."
Listening to Qinfaren, Shad will step toward Bjorn. "Bjorn's from here, right? Maybe he knows something about Aurilssbarg."
Qinfaren follows along with Shad to move over to Bjorn, very curious to hear about Aurilssbarg.
"Winters seem to be coming earlier and lasting longer," Qinfaren says as he walks with Shad. "I'm a little more open to the outside world than most of my kind so I was encouraged to see if anything similar was happening elsewhere."
Arogna nods and passes the bottle to Muharg. "Yeah. I hope Aurilssbarg is nicer than that place. Anyway, let's forget it. That dwarf ain't worth falling out over. I like you lot."
The days pass slowly out at sea as you cross over from the main land over to Ice Peak. On the third day you see some giant sharks swimming along the Icebreaker which helps to break up the view of icy cold sea.
Griggle for the most part does his best to keep away from Arogna. Though it is not certain whether that is deliberate, or it is because he always seems to be busy doing something else. However, despite what work Griggle has found himself doing on the Icebreaker, there are no sights of any mephits; smoke, magma, or icy. There are no fires or explosions either.
On the night of the fourth day, you arrive at port in Aurilssbarg, after spending the day travelling around Ice Peak. Earlier in the day you had managed to spot a family of polar bears trekking across the icy hills.

Knowing that the Icebreaker will get to port later in the day, Muharg spends most of it on deck. When the crew is in no need for help, he leans on the railing and observe the surroundings. "Hells, this place is colder than Auril's feet, but lad, it IS beautiful".
"I have to agree. This is the first time I've ventured out this close to the Sea of Moving Ice, but it is as beautiful as i've heard,"Bjorn would come along side Muharg, joining the dwarf in taking in the sights.

"What's that about?" mutters Arogna. "I was looking forward to getting off this ship. I don't even care if Aurilssbarg is another dump like the last one."
"That does sound strange," Bjorn nods in agreement with Argona's assessment. He walks over to the captain and asks, "Captain Silvermane, any reason for the order? Some of us were looking forward to spending the night on solid ground."
