Shad nods at Qinfaren. "That's a good idea," he says and starts to stand but, assuming Muharg shares what he heard, Shad will wait a moment. "Do you think there is more information to be gained?" he'll ask Muharg.
"Bjorn, do you recognize those warriors? Their tribe or history?" he says.
Qinfaren begins to laugh when Muharg lets them know that Jarlaxle was headed to Kelvin's Cairn.
"Missed him by that much," Qinfaren says while holding a thumb and index finger about an inch apart. "Now we'll have to climb back up to find him. Maybe we'll see Artus again."
He holds a finger to his lips for a moment then speak again.
"Why do you suppose Jarlaxle is mountain climbing? Does he fight undead too?"
Muharg eyebrows jump up when he hears the probable destination of the drow, before bringing the palm of his hand over his face and sagging his shoulders. “You’ll not believe this, but… they say the drow may be heading towards Calvin’s Cairn.” Whispers at the others.
He then frowns when Qinfaren starts laughing, but he joins him heartly but a few moments later. “I just hope we… we don’t have… to swing across… that damn ravine again!” He adds between bursts of laughter.
"Maybe he is lookin' for Artus?" Arogna wonders when she finishes laughing. "If he's a thief like they said, maybe he heard about that ring. But they might know more, right? I should still go talk to 'em, right? Maybe they likes dogs. Dogs is always good for makin' friends."
"I don't think we have anything to lose by talking to them, so fine by me." Muharg gets ready to join Arogna if she finally decides to approach the warriors.
Bjorn shakes his head, "Sorry I do not recognize this warriors. Their tribe is one of the local nomadic ones and are fierce warriors but I have not interacted much with any of them."
He then pauses to think before adding, "As for climbing up Kevin's Cairn, there is more than one way to get up there. So they could have been using a way different to ours"
(OOC: Also seems like Bjorn's subclass is becoming official once the new book is out!)

"Alright then. I'm gonna see if they got anythin' they wants to tell." Arogna unfurls herself from the hearth-rug and makes her way to the bar, passing close by the Northlanders' table on he way. She returns a few minutes later by the same route, balancing a tray filled with mugs of hot cider. The smell of cinnamon and cloves and a touch of citrus wafts up from it along with the apple scent.
"Here we go," she tells the party, picking up one of the mugs for herself. With that in hand, she heads back over to the Northlanders. "Scuse me," she says to them, politely. "When I was walkin' by jus' now, you was talkin' about a drow name of Jarlaxle? We're lookin' for him an' all."
Muharg grabs one of the mugs Argona has brought, and as she makes her way towards the northern group, he casually walks over to the bar and orders some pork rinds. When the tavern keeper serves them, Muharg tries to engage in a small talk about regional traditions and whatnot, staying alert for any trouble the warriors might start.
Shad grinds his teeth. That ring again! Maybe. If Arogna's right about Jarlaxle's plans. Ugh! He's going to be cold everyday for the rest of his life!
"Thank you," he says and takes a mug of hot cider. This will help, he thinks. He sips and swallows, letting the cider warm him as much as it can. He will also stand and carefully watch the warriors. They do look fierce, as Bjorn said, he thinks.
Arogna debates for a second whether to go with her original plan, of impressing the warriors by making them think the party are assassins out to kill Jarlaxle. But they seem more like they are perplexed by the drow than like they are his sworn or vengeful enemies. Also, she is not very confident of her own ability to pretend to be an assassin, imposing though she is.
So instead, she squares her shoulders proudly, although since her uniform jacket with the logo on the front is slung on the back of the bench rather than her shoulders, this does not really make the desired point. "We're Luskar Deliv'rers," she tells the Northlanders. "Got a parcel for him. Dunno what it is, though. If you got somethin' to say to him, we can tell him, if you wanta."
Arogna nods, and tries to make a professional face. "Who shall I say is askin'?" she asks. "An' I doubt he's gonna come with a good grace, if he did steal it an' all. 'S gonna be easier prob'ly to get hold of the thing off of him an' bring it back. What's it you lookin' for?"
"Oh, you don't hafta worry 'bout us," Arogna says proudly. "Like I said, we're Luskar Deliv'rers. Used ta handlin' all sorts a confinen - con-fi- dint -" She has been told the word, but cannot locate and assemble all the syllables right now. "Private stuff. Like we got this really weird dagger to take to a s- Uh. Yeah. We keeps all stuff like that to ourselves. An' we prob'ly ain't interested in whatever it is. Or I ain't, anyways."
Bjorn continues to keep an eye on the tribes man as an Arogna as they speak. Everything that they say he runs through his knowledge of the north making sure it is accurate.

The group stops to look at Arogna, "Well, it might have been Jarlaxle."
"We're not sure who he was."
"He didn't do much talking."
"Yeah, but how many drows, do you two know, that dresses like that? Most drows don't even make it to the surface."
"So in short, it was probably Jarlaxle, but we don't know that for a fact. Why are you looking for him?"

"Yeah, or you could have lost it."

"Look, if you happen to find this drow just make sure he returns to Caer-Konig. We'll take care of the rest."
Meanwhile, Shad tries to remember what he knows of Jarlaxle but remembers nothing that they don't already know.
