"Muharg's plan, then," Shad says. He will let Glen the bartender know that they have a delivery for Jarlaxle. "Tomorrow morning?" he says to the others. "Rations from Frozenfar and to the glacier?" He stretches, hands high in the air, and yawns.
"Lets' go," Qinfaren says. "I do like the sound of Frozenfar. It conjures up all sorts of images."
As he shoulders his gear and starts towards the door he muses aloud. "I wonder if they have hammocks. Sleeping on the ship in those was really lovely."
"I have fond memories of those hammocks too!" Shad says. "Not a bad way to sleep." He will gather his things and move toward Frozenfar with the others.
At the door, Shad is repulsed by the cold outside and that it has gotten dark. "Do we want to go to Frozenfar tonight or tomorrow morning? Probably nothing as good as a hammock, but I bet the beds upstairs are warmer than anything outside. What do you think?"
But Shad changes his mind. It's not that dark and he has been dealing (much as he dislikes it) with the cold for weeks now. He pulls his coats tight and, shivering as he goes, trudges over the packed snow and ice to the equipment shop.
Qinfaren looks back at Shad then over at the others.
"I'll vote for that," Qinfaren says nodding to Shad. "Going to the shop and seeing to the dogs, then heading out first thing in the morning."
OOC:
I don't feel any need to roleplay staying for the night, just seems like a good idea to maximize the daylight. Happy if everyone is to time jump over that part.
Deciding to head over to Frozenfar Expeditions you see a small simple wooden building with a sign hanging just above the door at the end of the road. As you walk down the road, you pass a few bundled-up people shuffling between snow-battered houses, keeping their heads down, barely bothering to give you a look.
Then a pile of snow stirs as you pass it, and someone, hidden beneath it, suddenly stands. The figure is hidden in partial darkness, it looks around and yells, "Who goes there? Is it thieves? Have I found those creeping bastards?"
When the figure steps into the light, pulling down a scarf covering his face, you see a silver dragonborn holding onto an empty wine bottle as if it was a weapon. He bleches, grins at you, and says, "Pardon my manners. Bit jittery with all the thieving going on. I'm Trovus, the town speaker."
At the end of the road, you see someone step out of the Frozenfar to smoke a pipe.

"We ain't thieves," Arogna tells the dragonborn, with a glance at the wine bottle to make sure it really is empty. "We're Luskar Deliv'rers. Were you waitin' to catch them like? Or sleepin' that off?" She gestures at the empty wine-bottle. She had contemplated adding "sir" after hearing the title that he is laying claim to, but she reserves judgement until after hearing the answer to her question. Which could, to be fair, be "both".
"How did you trick the kobolds?" Shad says. "And we were just talking to some folks who thought they might have been stolen from. You think lots of people are feeling that way? Who else?" Shad says all this but continues moving toward Frozenfar Expedition, hoping the dragonborn will follow along.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Yes please," says Qinfaren. "I would love to hear a tale with kobolds. But as our friend says, could you tell us on the way to Frozenfar."
He looks down at the pile of snow and back to Torvin. "Sleep is very important. Good for you."
As they move down the street, Qinfaren looks at the person who came out of the shop to smoke a pipe, his general curiosity drawing his attention to the figure, hoping to notice anything unusual.
As you walk, Qinfaren watches the man standing outside the shop. Qinfaren sees that a human man who is advanced in age, and he seems to just be taking a break from being inside the shop all day.
Torvin begins to walk with you, stumbling as he moves, "Well, the town has had some thievery troubles. No one’s seen anything, really. Just the other night, the lantern over at the Northern Light was stolen. Cori won’t let me hear the end of it because I haven’t been able to find those responsible. Not yet, anyway. But I have a knack for this stuff.”

"Maybe sleepin' in the snow stops you gettin' a headache all together," muses Arogna. She is only half-listening to the dragonborn, as she has heard many drunken stories which turned out not to be true. As they approach the shop, she turns to the smoking man.
" 'Scuse me, sir, you open? We're lookin' to get food an' some other bits for a trip like."
(I've realised I have accidentally renamed the dragonborn.)
"The Nothern Light is this town's inn, and someone has stolen the inn's magic lantern," Torvin explains. "Anyway, so these kobolds they..."
"Still telling your stories, ey, Torvin?" The man smoking a pipe interrupts before turning to Arogna. "Aye, we're still open. Head inside, Jarthra will sort you out."
"Well... yeah, but I think you should share your tales as well Atenas."
"Bah! No one wants to listen to this old man share tales of days gone by. It puts off the customers."

"Well we were listening just now weren't we? You are more than welcome to join us at our table and share some more stories," Bjorn offers as he glances at his companions hoping this was ok with them.

Torvin lets out a hiccup, "I don't exactly remember why am out here... to be honest. Nor how I ended up beneath that pile of snow."
He looks down at the ground behind him for a moment staring into space before remembering that he was supposed to be talking to someone.
"Anyway, let me tell you about the time I tricked a group of kobolds into believing I was a dragon in humanoid form."

Qinfaren nods happily at Bjorn's invite.
"As many stories as you care to share," Qinfaren says. "Until I fall asleep that is."
He nods his head again, this time to Atenas, and heads into the store, ducking his head as he goes through the entry way.
