Murharg jumps into sea, and the icy waters shocks him. He swims against the current out to the location where he saw the shape sink into the sea. Once he reaches the location, he begins to search for any sign of the shape.

Muharg is able to withstand the extreme coldness of the icy sea, but he is unable to find the anything in the deep dark sea. Whatever was in the sea has long sunk underwater.

Qinfaren blinks awake and clambers up. These people are certainly an impatient group. First, the parcel master getting upset at them for no reason. It wasn’t like they had missed the ship. And now Muharg shouting at them all.
”If he hadn’t jumped into the water we wouldn’t need to shout man overboard,” he pauses. “Would it be more useful if we shouted Muharg overboard?”
He looks over at Shad, remembering how little he likes the sea.
”I wouldn’t worry. I don’t see anyone else jumping in. I don’t think it’s required.”
He then helps Bjorn hoist the cold, wet dwarf back on to the ship.
Qinfaren looks at the goliath and the hand he tried to push him away with and takes a deep breath.
”Whether he has found someone or not, he will need to breathe.”
He releases the rope and does not bother to mention that at the speed the ship is moving that it seems unlikely that by the time rope was found and affixed to Muharg, the body would have been well to the stern of the ship.
Instead he goes on deck to find whoever’s in charge to tell them what has happened.
Muharg grunts in frustration and decides to head back onboard to at least try to figure out what happened. He starts "climbing" up the rope hoping Bjorn will help him up.
Bjorn does not bother to respond to Qinfaren, turning his attentions to the task at hand. Once he notices that Muharg has returned is trying to climb the rope, he assists the dwarf, pulling him up.

Shad makes his way blurry-eyed to the deck, sure he has missed something important. He sees Muharg, finds and gives him a heavy wool blanket and something hot to drink. He will grab a hot drink for himself as well. Shag wears both his own coats and the heaviest of the postmaster's.
Once he understands what has happened, he seeks Insight into the behavior of the crew members: 20. Does anyone look especially guilty? Does he notice anyone missing? Who looks relieved that Muharg returned alone?
(OOC: Shad made some minor changes to his spells during the long rest/night.)
Having only briefly encountered the crew earlier, Shad does not know them well enough to get a good reading on any of them. The other mecercanies are fairly unknown to Shad as well. However, some are looking at Muharg with concern whilst others look over the sides of the ships for any sign.
Then from the crowd Lennart pushes himself through followed by a large guy.
"What happened?" asks Lennart. "We heard some shouting but I'm not understanding what exactly happened here. The firbolg mentioned something about you jumping off the side of the ship? Why on earth would you do that?"
The man behind Lennar turns around and talks to the crew to see if they have any information.
"Who was on the night watch in the crow's nest?" You hear him say loudly as he points up at the mainmast.

Muharg gladly accepts the blanket and hot drink from Shad "Thank you, friend" nods at the tabaxi and says with a raspy voice.
Pulls Lennart aside and explains with a low voice so no one from the crew can listen "We were down in our cabin and we heard something falling in the water. We took a look and it was something human shaped and sized, and we saw someone above on deck staring down at it and then at us, sir" Adjusts his belt and resumes "Was just trying to rescue the potencial victim from the water." Says pointing with his thumb over his shoulder in the direction were the body fell.
A female half-orc, around six feet tall, has been regarding the group with a look of concentration. She is of burly build, with a half-orc's greyish skin, and her black hair is streaked with a brick red substance that looks like a clay of some sort. She is wearing stout leather trousers and boots, and a coat like those that the postmaster provided to you. Approaching from behind Lennart, she says in a deep and heavily accented voice, but a respectful tone, "Scuse me. Are these the ones for the deliveries up North, Mr. Bassk?"
Qinfaren watches the half-orc with great curiosity. This trip was more and more interesting by the minute.
Qinfaren steps closer to her, looks down from his 7' 10" height, a large smile in his bearded face and holds out his large hand.
"I'm Qinfaren," he says. Then continues in a what he thinks of as his whisper, which is just as loud, "we are the ones making the deliveries. But right now, my friend Muharg here thinks he saw someone throw a body off the boat and we're all waiting to hear what the night watch has to say. I really hope it wasn't a body. Everyone seems very excitable here and I think that would push a lot over the edge. If everyone would just take a deep breath and think about things all the way through I'm sure we could still get a good night's sleep."
Then he sighs and looks up towards the crow's nest.
Bjorn nods in greeting to the half-orc, before turning his attention back to Lennart. "I saw it too." Bjorn says in support of Muharg, "Something or someone went or was thrown overboard and there was someone standing at the railing. The person ran like a spooked rabbit when it saw us. By the time we got top deck, there was no one around."

"Someone went over board?" asks Lennart momentarily ignoring the half-orc, he turns to the man behind him. "Did you hear that captain? My guys seem to think that someone or something went over board."
"I see, well my crew are keeping tight lipped for now. I will investigate and interrogate my crew and if find anything out I will let you know, on a need to know basis," replies the captain. "For now make sure your mercenaries don't go throwing themselves into the sea anymore. He was lucky to make it back to ship alive."
Lenanrt nods his head in response to the captain, and when he the captain steps out of here shot he talks to you again.
"It was brave of you to try, but whatever it was probably didn't stand a chance even with your help."
He then finally turns to the half-orc, "Yes, these are the other mercenaries that are joining us on delivering packages. I suggest you get to know each other. But we have a few days before we reach Fireshear."

“I understand, sir.” Nods “I really thought I could reach who or whatever it was in time to bring it back up onboard.” Pauses for a moment and then resumes “If it was a someone though, I still think it was very much worth the shot to try and safe them.”
He then turns to the half-orc and adjusts his belt “Muharg, Muharg Sunborn. It is my pleasure to meet you.” Reaches out for a handshake.
Turning back to Lennart “Sir, should we at least make sure all the Deliverers are still safe on board?”
The half-orc grins back at Qinfaren and shakes the offered hand. Her grin is friendly, but her handshake is somewhat awkward and stiff, as if she isn't used to the gesture. "Name's Arogna. Mr. Bassk told me to look out for you lot on the boat. Said I couldn't miss you. I got a parcel too, going to the Reghed Glacier, and he said we should go together." She looks at the others talking with Lennart, "Throwing people overboard, huh? They'd better not try that with me, or with any of you either, by the looks of it. Nice of your wet friend to try and help."
The half-orc learns to refresh the page. Perhaps she should not have dumped Int so hard.
"Thank you, Mr. Bassk. I will," Arogna answers Lennart. She turns to shake Muharg's hand, again awkwardly. "I'm Arogna. Did you think they were alive when they went over?"
