Stooping to ensure he stays clear of the ceiling, Bjorn spends sometime browsing through the rack of fur lined clothes. Finding clothing that fit him was not easy, but he was finally able to put together a set, although the colors seemed a little bit mismatched.
Looking around some more, the goliath is unable to locate a shield as he originally wanted. He looks at the shop owner as if to ask a question, but seeing the owners gruff look, he decides to try searching a little more before asking. Seeing the rack of odds and ends, Bjorn starts rifling through it.

Before approaching the shop owner Muharg tries to discern whether he was a sailor in the past. Looking for tattoos, characteristic signs of sailoring in his hands, maybe his attire reveals some clue, the shop decoration, how rope for sale is arranged,...
Bjorn’s eyebrows raise up in surprise as he see the vial. Walking over to the owner he set the vial down together with the clothing and asks, “How much?”

Muharg adjusts his belt and approaches the shop owner "Ahoy there. Seems the tide washed us into your establishment to fetch ourselves some warm clothes and maybe some other gear if you have it. We will take a look around ourselves for the wares, but so we don't waste too much of your time and ours and we can go by the board with this, do you happen to have a shield, and some javelins or hand axes on deck? Might also be interested in healing potions." Sniffles, takes off his gloves, and makes sure the shop keep notices his own tattoos: Sink on one hand, a letter on each of the knuckles; Swim on the other in the same way.
Turns to Shad and Rianath "Anything specific for you lads?"
The shop owner replies to Bjorn first, "Hmmm, a potion of invulnerability? That would be 250 gold pieces."
"Warm clothes? Well there's the boots and coats over there, though I'm not sure if any of them are the right sizes for all of you. As for weapons and shields I might have something in the back. I tend to not let weapons get within hands reach of just anybody."

Bjorn let's out a low whistle at the price, then slides the vial back across the counter, "Well that's way out of my budget. How much for one of the shields you have back there?"

"Aye, that is certainly wise of you." Points over his shoulder with his thumb to the rack with the clothes "Will shuffle through the clothing and common wares ourselves. Can you show our friend here the shields you have back there, though?" Pats Bjorn in the back and nods "Appreciate it."
He then walks to the rack and the pile of stuff and tries to find something of the right size to keep him warm, as well as a pole around 10 feet long.
Qinfaren turns in the shop, bumping his head on goods hanging from the ceiling and low beams. Several times he almost knocks over displays of items but catches them at the last second. The whole time a large beaming smile across his face.
He spots the warm weather clothes and sifts through them looking to find something in his size, preferably dark green. But as he works his way through, he’s not sure if that will be possible.
Muharg searches through the clothing and finds a thick coat that is about his size if a little too big. He also manages to find a ten-foot pole behind all of the coats and jackets.
@marbosp
So he is going to carry a pole more than twice his size?

Shad notices that the shop owner has moved to the back of the shop and is immediately tempted to steal. Anything. He resists.
He will look through the coats, for something long, fur-lined, and white. The color of snow. He will also investigate the pile of items where Bjorn had such luck: 6.
"Muharg," he says, "see if you crew mate has any daggers he would be interested in trading for a nice mace."
(Edit: DDB is telling me my roll is not available? And now it's giving me a six.)
“All right, let’s see here. We’ll take all these clothes and this pole” Turns to Bjorn “Fancy any of those?” Pointing at the shields.
”Oh, and would you be keen to trade this nice mace for a few daggers?”
”Now let’s talk business.” Says with a smile while adjusting his belt “Since we’ll be purchasing quite a few goods, would you consider to make us a bundle price for a fellow sea hearty?”
Bjorn picks up one of the shields and raps his knuckles on the surface testing its weight and build. Nodding his head, he places it back down on the counter, "Sturdy and well built. It would serve me well."

Just to double check, our personal budget is the one that comes with the background and/or class during character creation, right?

"Certainly," the man disappears through the door behind him, disappearing from view. You hear the noise of banging and then a clash of metal.
@marbosp
What pole are you looking for?
DM Note: You start off with the money that was created during character creation. Though you have now earned/found more money as well.

A couple of moment later he walks back through carrying two large shields one wooden and one metal.
