Shad asks Qinfaren and others to help move Muharg to the shelter. "Yes," he says, "we ought to rest, at least briefly. The Cat Lord is far from me right now and chasing after him never works. I can't call on him for healing magic until I've ignored him for a while. Do any of the rest of you have ways to heal?"
"Neat trick," grins Arogna to Qinfaren as he lights the fire. She goes over to Muharg and Shad. "I'm no healer, more's the pity," she tells Shad. She pulls the unconscious dwarf through the snow to the shelter of the stall, by the fire.
"I will need to get a good night's sleep before being able to regain the power to heal," he says to Shad. "I've heard of some druids that can do so after a brief rest, but I do not have their level of skill yet."
He looks over at Muharg.
"We could carry him back to the ship so he can get a proper sleep. I always find you feel so much better after a good long sleep."
But then he sighs, remembering that they had been told not too take too long. They weren't going to get to see the site of the meteor strike, were they?
"But I don't think the Parcelmaster would like us to wait until tomorrow to finish our delivery. We could take a short break and see if Muharg comes around and then continue on, making sure he stays clear of any more mephits we might encounter."
"Agreed, let's take a breather before we proceed forward. Perhaps this time I can scout ahead so not all of us are caught unawares if there are more of those creatures about." Bjorn offers. He winces slightly as he checks the extent of the wounds he sustained from the mephit's claws.

After a couple of hours, Muharg starts to shuffle in his slumber, until he finally opens his eyes and sits all the sudden. “Aaagh!” Brings his hand to his right side and looks around him with confusion “What happened? Where are we? Is everyone fine?”

Having rested, Shad leans over to listen to Muharg and Arogna. He takes a hunk of lint-covered dried fish from one pocket deep in his coat. If he thinks anyone would like some, he is willing to share.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Muharg positions himself and tries a couple of movements "Well, I have been worse... but I've been better."
He then stays still for a while, contemplating the snow as it falls. "Hmm... Don't you feel there's something odd with that snow? Something doesn't feel natural from the way it sits on our clothes and armours". Reaches out with his hand to contemplate how the snow sits on it.
Trying to see if something is wrong with this snow:
Shad contemplates the snow as well. "It is terrible stuff," he says, "but I don't know if it is unnatural. I do think we should move through the town carefully. We might try to sneak past any more of the little creatures, rather than confronting them so directly. Confronting them has been painful."
Muharg nods at the idea “You tell me, friend... Hmm, not very confident about my sneaky capabilities, though” Says as he makes his chainmail jingle with a slight move of his arms.
"If Bjorn scouts ahead as he suggested, we louder ones can follow at a distance, and stop on his signal," says Arogna. "I hope it can't be far to the forge now."
Qinfaren has been making little snow figures in the piling snow while the others have been talking. He has built a small army of pixie sized snowpeople. He finally looks up at the others.
"I think we've been moving fairly steadily east. We should be close now," he says. "The snow seems to blanket out most sound so we will hopefully all be quiet."
He then looks up in the air at the snow coming down.
"Whether Bjorn goes first on his own or not, we should get going while we still have some daylight."
Shad says, "Perhaps I can persuade one more blessing from The Cat Lord." He will reach out to Muharg with the Blessing of the Trickster: "As an action you can touch a willing creature other than yourself to give it advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks for 1 hour or until you use this feature again."
Muharg tries himself with a short walk to a nearby stall and back. “Hm” Nods. “I feel... quieter... almost like if someone had interlaced whool with the metal rings” Says while checking his armor, then looks at the others with a smile.
”East! But I’d still be happy if Bjorn scouted ahead”.
As Muharg watches the snow he sees that it seems to be blowing in from the north. However, it otherwise seems to just be a natural occurrence for these northern parts of the land. It is cold and white. To some, it would inspire creativity and merriment but to others, it would inspire loneliness and fear.
Bjorn continues east, leading the way. He is quick, silent and stealthy. Nothing else seems to be admiss.
Eventually, you find the one building still standing admist other ruined buildings. You figure that this must be the forge that you was told about. And the woman was right, for whatever reason the mephits have left this place alone. A smokestack rises up from the rough from where smoke filled with strange blue and crimson sparks billows. On the underneath of the roof, three large icicles hand from the eaves. Two rest on either side of the door with one directly above it.
