Qinfaren reaches his large hand into the pouch at his belt and pulls out a handful of coins. He admires the images that appear on each on as he counts them out on to the bar to pay for the ales.
"Ooh. That one's nice. It has an eagle on it," he says placing the last sliver coin down.
While he hands mugs out to the rest of the group he adds, "yes, Nez the big furry spider."
Then he takes a long pull of the Never Winter Ale, wiping foam from his beard with the back of his hand..
Shad has been wondering if he need to rethink his feelings about the sea. Maybe he will. He's also taking in the bar and the goliath, who he greets. Couple of these folks might be big enough to hide behind, he thinks. Firbolg, goliath, half-orc.
Then he hears Rahk and takes the list from his own pocket. "Nezznar the Black Spider," he says. "I think he's waiting for us to pick a package we're to deliver." Shad shrugs. "Do you recognize any of the names of this list?" He turns the list so the barkeep can see it.
"And do you have milk? I'm not picky. Cow, goat, or mink?"
"Happy t' meet cha, Bjorn! I'm Rianath."The half-elf lifts one hand in a saluting wave, then happily curls a fist around the offered ale. "Thanks, Qinfaren. Next one's on me, yeah?"
He makes a show of drinking with a flourish, but doesn't take quite as long a draw on it as he acts. His eyes flick around the room constantly, taking in the other patrons and noting who looked the most interesting or whose gaze lingered just a little too long on the group.
Noticed two of us were using the same color for our speech, so I've changed mine to purple instead for variety.
“It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, master Bjorn” Says Muharg as he nods at the goliath. He then proceeds to take his gloves off and fits them inbetween his belt and his tabard. Adjusts his belt once again, grabs one of the tankards, takes a good long sip, wipes his beard with the back of his left hand and offers the right one to Bjorn for a hand shake.
Bjorn takes Muharg's offered hand in a firm handshake. He then takes his right hand and places it diagonally across his chest before offering a small bow to the group, "Well met. May your ancestors find favour with you all this day."
Straightening he looks over to the list, "Could I take a look at that list? I have spent my life in and about these areas. I may have heard of one of these."
@Vakarash - So sorry. Didn't notice we were using the same colour. I can change and have you use blue if you'd prefer it.
@DM - Would Bjorn recognize any of the names on the list? He did grow up in and around these parts.

Shad turns the list on the bar so that both the bartender and Bjorn can see it. From deep within his coat he take coins to pay for his share of the drinks. He spins each coin on the bright surface of the bar, watching them shine, and listening for responses to the list.

The barkeep takes the list from Shad, and responds, "Milk? Sorry, we don't have any milk."
The barkeep looks at the list, "Ah yeah I see where you have gone wrong here. Nezznar is not a spider he is the Black Spider. It's a nickname that old Nezzy has earned himself. He is a drow that deals in magic. Probably one of the only male drow to have left servitude.
As for the rest on this list, yes I know them all well, at least well enough. In fact, Rool is just over there."
He points over at the half-orc sitting at the end of the bar.
"Hey, Rool! These guys are looking for you."
The half-orc stands up from his stool, the stool falling over as he does so.
"What do they want?" the orc asks angrily.
"They're from Luskar."
"Luskar? Well, they don't look like much." Rool staggers over to you and pulls out his shortsword, "I challenge you to a fight."
DM Note: Roll initiative, we're going to go as groups if one of you rolls higher than the enemy, then you can all go.
With the quick rapid successive attacks on the drunken Rool, causes him to collapse face down on the bar floor. As he falls the package falls from him onto the floor. Rool holds up a thumb,
"Checks in the mail."
He then rolls into his back before passing out.

Muharg looks at the half-orc on the floor, sighs, and sets him in a cozy position so he can at least have some rest. "The lighthouse seems as good as any other place now, but let's see what this gentleman has to say about the people on the list" then turns to the bartender, adjust his belt and asks "May we have any suggestions on where to start looking for any of them". And slips a silver with his finger towards the rotund individual.
Watching the orc fall, Bjorn relaxes and nods approvingly to himself. This group seemed quite capable, the fight was over before he could even throw a punch.
Reaching into his coin pouch he fishes out some coin and pays for his drink before picking its up and finishing the ale in one gulp. Placing the now empty flagon on the bar top he looks at the rest of the group, "You lead on and I'll follow."

"Mm, we're s'posed ta bring 'em to the ship, yeah? That's what I figured, from what the boss said, anyway,"Rianath answers with a small shrug. He tilts his head as he waits for the bartender to answer.

With a smile he turns back to the bar, grabs his beer and finishes the rest of it.
