Captain Silvermane shows no sign of allowing Muharg into his cabin. However, he does step forward when Muharg steps back.
"Look,"he begins."Whilst I do appreciate your offer of assistance. I am going to decline. There is nothing to be concerned of. Just stay on board the Icebreaker and everything will be fine."
Qinfaren darts around and through the entry way and sticks to the shadows along the wall, climbing up to get a better vantage point, looking for anything that might indicate what’s going on- a desk with letters, a bloodied weapon, someone else.
As soon as Qinfaren enters through the door to the cabin, the sound of a handbell can be heard. A look of surprise can be seen on Captain Silvermane's face before he disappears back into the cabin shutting the door behind him.
"Okay, I know someone is in here," he calls out to the room. "You probably did not expect me to have set any security measures. But after the last couple of days, I could not be too careful.
And I have just the guy to prepare such measures on my ship."

"Well, you see, I don't need to see someone to know someone came into my cabin," he calls back through the door. "I had someone place security measures on my door so that if anyone other than I entered it would trigger the sound of a bell ringing. I was worried that someone on this ship might be using magic to get around without being seen."
Silvermane begins to carefully tread around the room looking for signs of something or someone in the cabin.

If a spider could smile, Qinfaren the spider would smile now. He loved games. And this was a bit like the hide the crab apple game the firbolgs would play after a keg or two of cider at the summer solstice.
He climbs higher up the wall and moves along the rafters towards the center of the room so he can get a look down at the captain's desk in the middle and papers scattered about it to see if there's anything there that might reveal why he's keeping them on the ship tonight.

Sticking to the rafters, Qinfaren the spider moves to look down at the other objects in the room, the chests, and sacks, thinking while he does so that there just might not be anything here to discover.
Muharg will yell from outside the cabin, just to keep Silvermane distracted "All right then, captain. Want me to go fetch someone or should I just wait here for you?" Then mutters to himself "Or you'd rather have me to just shove off and mind my own business, that is..."

"No," replies Silvermane. "I'm sure that I will find whatever is in here. It can't be too difficult. There's only so many places one can hide."
Silvermane moves over to his chest and closes it down firmly to make sure not steals any of his gold pieces. He then turns around and begins to close the books on his bookcases.
"There's no escaping this room without me spotting you."

Qinfaren the Spider noticed the chest full of gold but he had no interest in that. Very shiny and pretty and all that, but he didn't have much use for them, nor was he a thief. He would have been offended except he knew the captain didn't know it was him in here. He was starting to feel bad for the stress he was clearly causing Captain Silvermane. Maybe he should just leave.
He moves along the ceiling over the books trying to get a look at the titles to see if there's any clue there as to what's going on.

Intrigued by the Book of Nymphs, he's tempted to go down and take a closer look, but sensing that he may be pressing his luck, Qinfaren the Spider looks for cracks in the ceiling or walls that might allow a faster escape than going under the door.
The wind is even colder in Shad's fur high up on the mast. He can just barely hear distant drums. The water is much more visible from here, he can see so much more of it but also farther away. His fear is different, in other words. Shad tries to see what is happening on deck, wondering if they have been distracting enough. He begins to move back down the mast to determine if he needs to stay in the cold of if he can curl up in his hammock.
As Silvermane sits on his stool, looking around the cabin. He notices movement in the corner of his eye, by his books on one of the bookcases. He stands up and walks over to the bookcase to have a closer look.
"What do we have here?" he asks to himself.
Then upon a closer look, he sees that it is a lone spider.
"Are you what caused the alarm to go off? I suppose its possible that truly anything other than I could set the alarm off. Though next time maybe we need to be a little more specific."
Silvermane then begins to make attempts at trying to scoop up the spider, not realising that it is actually Qinfaren.
Meanwhile, Shad looks around the ship from his high position on the mast, he sees that most of the crew are focused on Arogna's playing of the drums. Not paying attention to him or anyone else. However, he cannot see Captain Silvermane or Lennart. Then before Shad begins to make descent down the mast, something out at see catches his eye. However, despite its size, it is too far away from the Icebreaker to make out what it is the darkness of the night.

Arogna thinks that she should carry on playing as long as Muharg is by the door of the cabin. If the crew will allow her, that is. Bjorn has stayed around, so Arogna chooses to believe he is enjoying the performance, and gives him a cheerful grin and nod in appreciation of his support.
In the song, Uncle Grog is now hiding in a bush from an unseen creature that he believes to be a dire wolf, but is actually a rabbit. Since Arogna is now singing in orcish, she adds some comic gestures in breaks in the drumming, by way of illustration for the benefit of the audience.

(Do you want any other rolls from Qinfaren?)
Qinfaren looks down at the papers scattered about the desk in the middle of the cabin and sees that they are charts and maps of the seas.
Meanwhile, Silvermane continues to look around the room. As he walks he draws his short sword from its scabbard and readies it.
"Why don't you just show yourself?"
