Qinfaren continues to concentrate on the vines, but also waves his free hand over his staff, moving the fingers like small flames. He then quietly says "Frugibus flamma." A small mote of flame appears in his hand that quickly shapes into a small ball that he hurls at Fanger.

Bjorn moves forward and holds Fanger in place, a precaution against her breaking the vines. He then says, "Give up! Leave here and never return and no one will need to die!"

Arogna manages to pierce Fanger with the silver sword, the wererat lets out wait of pain. Before the cry subsides, Qinfaren burns her flesh. Shad's spell then quickly inflicts further pain. Then, before Fagner can do anything else, she grappled by Bjorn.
These events are then interrupted when a man comes running into sight. As he runs he is still trying to place his helmet on his head.
"Okay, what's going on here?" the man asks. "I have heard reports of strangers disembarking a ship, entering into Aurilssbarg in search of weaponry shortly followed by fighting on the roads. Further reports indicated that the strangers were headed this way. And what do I find when I arrive here? Some strangers attacking a woman?"
You look down at Fanger has shifted into her human form.
"She's a were-rat!" Arogna explains, after taking a few deep breaths to try to calm down at the sight of the official-looking man. "She was hiding on our ship. We got this silver sword 'cos she was following us an' threatening us. She was going to kill us, and him." She indicates Glarth with the silvered sword, which drips a bit of blood.
"We'd be happy for you to take this one into your custody," Qinfaren says. "But it would be nice to know who you are first. This work is starting to make more cautious than I used to be."

"I'm sorry to have confused you," Shad says. "I am not Glarth. I am Shad. Glarth is a citizen of Aurilssbarg and may be in his house behind us. You're interested in protecting him from the were-rat, of course." Shad smiles, hoping his teeth are friendly-looking and persuasive (18), rather than alarming. "The captain of our ship has also had trouble with the rat. You might be interested in what says."
Qinfaren keeps an eye on Fanger in case she squirms out of Bjorn's grip.
"I suggest an extra set of very tiny manacles be on hand if you do arrest her," Qinfaren says. "Or perhaps a large sack of some kind. She appears to be able to change shape at will."
"Well, I don't know for sure how often she can do it," Qinfaren answers. "But we have seen her as this woman, as a giant rat, and is an inbetween kind of part woman part rat humanoid."
Qinfaren continues looking at Fanger.
"But I think she's really quite sad and doesn't know what to do with those feelings so she lashes out."
“If I may add sir. This is Muharg, Muharg Sunborn” Shakes the officer hand and adjusts his belt “we are members of a delivery service. We arrived yesterday evening on the Icebreaker, but waited until this morning to disembark and come deliver a parcel to Glarth. Apparently there’s some kind of romantic rivalry between Glarth and Fanger” says pointing at the woman “and she doesn’t want the delivery to be fulfilled.”
Klaus listens to the explanation given, "I see, okay well feel free to complete your delivery I don't think there's a chance of her stopping that from happening now. I will take her into custody. So you can hand her over to me."
Klaus then marches over to Bjorn who is still holding Fanger down. He turns his attention to the captive woman.
"Well, it seems that you have failed in your mission. So surrender yourself on to me, and things will go easier for you. It must be difficult to see an old flame move on, but I think it's time that you let go as well."

Then he turns to Arogna, "No more stabbing if you wouldn't mind."
