Lorahzt slowly shakes her head as she titters. "Your point is fair, but I think they will find that these beasts cannot count very high..." Her eyes and ears return to watching for trouble in the darkness of the cave, but her lips remain slightly quirked with amusement.
Arame lowers herself to the ground in front of the cage of wolves and holds out a piece of meat from rations in her pack. The leader of the pack comes forward haltingly and sniffs the meat and then takes it from her and backs up. "I am Arame, all of these people are my friends. We are pack." The wolves all listen to her, waiting.
"Are the goblins part of your pack?" The wolves snarl and snap a bit. "No. We are pack.We do not cage pack."
"The goblins are not our pack. They would cage us as well, or worse. If I set you free, you are free. But our enemies are your enemies. If you can help us in any way, we would be even for setting you free, as you should be."
Arame waits to see how the wolf responds and nods to Cade, wondering if he has anything to add.

Thror glances back at his companions who are trying to communicate with a pack a wolves and shakes his head and mutters under his breath, "Talking with goblins and now wolves. What's next? A Slime?" He then returns to keep watch on the tunnel leading out.

“Lorahzt, what would you think of scouting ahead a short distance? Stay within view of us being able to see you, but go slowly and quietly upstream and then return. I would assist but this armor is rather noisy and one can travel more silently than two.”
Lorahzt's pointed ears perk up slightly at the half-orc's suggestion. "Wouldn't be hard," she nods her head, "Very well, I'll be back soon." Without another word the "moon elf" steps away from the group, creeping upstream with a whispered phrase.
Ologu watches Lorahzt shuffle off kicking small rocks across the floor and some into the stream. He rolls his eyes and tries to get her attention, silently, to wave her back.
Arame patiently waits to find out the answer to her questions of the wolves. She knows wolves are pack animals and pack is all important. A wolf should never be caged. That is why she told the animals that she and her friends were pack and that the goblins who had caged them were NOT pack.

It sounded like Arame and Cade we’re getting somewhere with the wolves. Lia is once again impressed with Gundren’s judge of character, and his ability to pull a team together. She frowns a little at the thought though and vows to find her friend no matter what.
