Shariel watches the scene unfold with careful interest. As Kevash passes, Shariel follows along, a playful bounce in her step and an arrow twirling in her fingers.
To Kevash: Snaggletooth...huh, I need to remember that one. No worries, yeah? The Moon loves her little furry friends of the night.
To Riya: Some would say that if you're going to fight a dragon, but not to slap it in the nose first. This one's from the swamps; a muddy puddle by your standards. You may know the waves and currents, but there's dangers that stagnant pools hide from even the Moon. You'll come to appreciate his pets soon enough.

Boresh's deep, hearty laugh carries down the halls, possibly alerting potential foes of his presence; at this moment, even whether he was wise enough to know (which is unlikely), he did not care.
Boresh is oblivious to the telepathic communication going on amongst Shariel, Kevash, and Riya. "You may not like her, Scales, but I do!" He (somewhat more gingerly than the last time) slaps his brother-from-a-dragon-mother on the shoulder as Kevash sulks past, and walks right on up to the newcomer, extending an arm for a handshake.
"Name's Boresh, glad to meet someone else who can get a rise out of my good friend here," he says warmly. "You're alright, and a welcome ally. Hopefully we won't bleed all over your pretty self as you tend to our wounds," Boresh adds with a half-orc grin.
OOC: Over the course of the short rest, Boresh recovers 9 hit points, expending his one Barbarian hit dice. He does not recover his used spells or bardic inspiration yet.
Riya listens to Shariel's telepathic message to her. After a few moments of consideration, she raises her shoulders in a shrug, merely replying. "We'll see."
Upon Boresh's approach, Riya offers him a shake in return. "It's a pleasure, Boresh. And I appreciate your consideration of my image." She glances around the party now, sighing, as if she were about to undertake a chore. "That reminds me... does anyone require healing now, or can we manage through this empty hallway without?"
"We'll see what?" Shariel throws back over her shoulder. ( ;P)

OOC: Welcome, skiking3! This looks like it's gonna be fun already.
Tell only just manages to stop herself from testing Whelm out then and there on the newcomer's face. "Oh! A person— I mean, a normal person, who's not a vampire or somethin'. Uh, hi?" She waits as Riya introduces herself and snorts at her little joke. "Well, additional help's always welcome in my book. Do hafta wonder how much help you'll be able to give if you're busy gettin' hammered—" she thumps Whelm against her palm and grins "—but it looks like you got here in one piece, so I'd wager you can handle your drink, eh? Welcome!"
She gives Kevash a half-smile as he pushes past in a huff. "For what it's worth, I thought the bats were fluffy and smelled kinda nice," she says, shrugging. "For bats, but yeah. I'd fly on one again!
"Anyway, Riya," she says, turning back to the genasi while Boresh shakes her hand and extending her own. "Glad to have you along! The name's Tellan Bladeseeker, or just Tell if something's chasin' you and you need me to come running fast! I'm all good to go for now, so if you're ready to tag along and see what's down this hallway with us...?"
Despite the rather large bruise left by Ctenmiir's blows, Boresh declines Riya's healing offer. "It be a mere flesh wound, you can save your spells for more serious injuries."
He turns to Tellan. "Which hallway were you thinking of leading us down first, Tell?" Boresh asks, peering down both of the unexplored options. "Looks like there's something on the northwestern path, while it's clear over to the north; though that's probably only because we already went there. Did we miss anything down that way?"
OOC: I'm just going by the directions from the map GM posted here
"Oh nothing." She replies with a chuckle, toward Shariel.
Riya offers Tellan a brief smile, nodding toward her. "Good to meet you too, Tell. And don't worry, I'm not too drunk." She'd shake Tellan's hand. "I'm ready to go when the rest are."
Whenever folks were ready to keep moving, she'd move along with the rest.
"Well, if whatever's up northwest looks interesting, I'm all for headin' that way! 'Bout time we had something else to do, don't you think, Boresh?" She makes as if to head that way and waits for the others to object or follow.

Thanks, I'm also at +5 though so whether you give me advantage or make your own roll, the odds are exactly the same. I think it'd make more sense for Shariel to roll her own Perception, it'd also let you RP your result if you get higher than mine (which is very likely)
Riya pockets the bottle in some sort of abnormally large pocket within her robes, ensuring the booze was secure as they began forward. Beyond that, she sighed, retrieving her shield and spear, a bit reluctantly. "I suppose now's as good a time as any to get going."
She does however bring a hand to her necklace as they begin to make their way onward, behaving as if she were trying to do so surreptitiously (though it was in no way actually subtle). A moment later, Kevash would hear a chorus of very quiet whispers around his head, each one uttering a single word. Snaggletooth. Were he to move away, he would quickly leave the reach of the ominous whispering, per the nature of Thaumaturgy.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kevash seems strangely undisturbed by the whispers, especially given his recent outburst. He will light the end of his staff to better see the area as he moves further down the passage. He will also give a soft chant for Guidance:4
Kevash notices that the spot on the map numbered 18 is a 10 foot deep open pit filled with water. The casual observer might have fallen down it, because the pit would appear to be the same height as the rest of the water (In case Riya doesn't know, all the hallways are covered in about a foot of muddy water, and also the group has a flesh golem under their control as well). This is kind of a mundane obstacle and since Kevash spotted it, I'll give everyone an automatic success to fly (via bat or ring) or jump over it. In case anyone wonders, no traps or secrets the rest of the way to:
The party is at the bottom most square. Lining the rest of the corridor on either side are copper colored metal plates. They are six feet high and six feet wide. They cannot be damaged or removed. The group feels a noticeable heat in the air. The copper plates apparently act as an induction field. The field extends from floor to ceiling, and can't be ducked under. It seems the only way forward (this part of the dungeon) is through the field. If you take a few exploratory steps down the hall, you'll notice the temperature gradually increases as you go. You might be able to go through it without taking damage depending on several factors.
GM: Don't want to give too much away here. I'll reveal more details as characters attempt to go through the heat field, if they choose. Just want to say this is my first time running this module, which I kind of picked up out of the blue. Its turning out to be eerily appropriate considering Halloween is coming up :D This dungeon would make a great setting for one of the Saw horror films. Also hoping that the D&D theme is going to continue in the upcoming 2nd season of Stranger Things. Anyway, good luck.

OOC: Is there some sort of check I can do that would lead me to believe I can cancel out or balance the increasing heat in the hall so the party doesn't take damage? I can use Sleet Storm, but I don't want to just burn a 3rd (and only) spell slot without making some sort of check. Maybe a nature check? Survival? I'm proficient in both. Maybe just a straight intelligence roll? I'll go ahead and throw down a few rolls to speed things up. I'll put Guidance(1) on the straight intelligence roll.
Kiellie takes up the rear of the group since everyone ran off towards the tunnel. Seeing the copper panels she begins to wonder if these are worth anything and how she could carry them all out.
Boresh, unaware of Kevash's hesitation, doesn't mind the heat and walks 10ft down the hall; like a frog not realizing it's being boiled.
(OOC: I'm intending to test the heat here, is it hot enough to cause damage? Also, I'm thinking that since GM mentioned induction field, does the heat build up particularly quickly on the metal equipment Boresh wears/wields, namely his shield and axe? If so, I'd like to have him react to that.
As Boresh walks down the hall it gets increasingly hotter. As you guessed, being in the armor intensifies the heat and it is soon becoming uncomfortable to the point of painful. I'll take Kevash's intelligence check result. Kevash realizes that the appropriate spell could negate the heat waves and let the party clear the hall safely. In addition, a non-armored individual could probably run through the passage with minimal damage. But walking down the path in an armored suit would definitely be excruciating.
Sleet storm sounds a little tricky to use in this instance. I don't know what the duration of the spell's effect would be, and it would make the surface of the corridor difficult to walk on. This looks like an obstacle that you probably want to surpass quickly without slipping or stopping.
