Searching the corpses of the bandits, she finds an assorted 7 gp, 12 sp, and 18 cp which she can easily put inside her coin purse. Other than that, the weapons of the bandits are available to take if she's willing to make the space.
The various valuable items in the camp are looted. Tanye beckons for the party to travel down the path in the forest and leave as quickly as possible.

The party makes their hasty departure from the ruined temple on the cliff, just as the churning waves indicate something extraordinarily large is rising from the sea! Whatever it is, they do not see, as they run into the forest and down the path. The sound of crashing stone and bubbling water reaches them from afar- they just made it out in time to avoid the unseen leviathan's wrath.
Tanye is well-composed, carrying a shortsword scavenged from the bandits. She shakes her head responds to Helena, "I haven't seen my sister in twenty years. But from the conversation I overheard, it seems like she was attempting to sacrifice me to a herald of Sephalus, in a blood ritual that will somehow reverse her aging. As if that's the best way to repay me after all these years..."
After a short while, the party exits the forest and re-enters the manor grounds. As they do so, Tanye says, "We have to get back to Trishdale as quickly as possible. I overheard some of the bandits' plans. They're beginning to get more aggressive, and if we don't do something quick-"
She cuts herself short and stares ahead in horror. Something new is placed in front of the mansion, illuminated by an oil lantern. A wooden spike has been stuck in ground, and staked on top of it is a head covered in blood. Cain's head, with his mouth agape as if to scream...

Jaesali gets fixated on the letter. She walks up to the post and carefully takes it down. She can see Caine at the edge of her vision but doesn't look at it directly. She kicks a rat away as she turns.
Helena looks a bit pale at the sight of the head, but focuses on Jaesali. “No, what we need to do is get Tanye back to town before whatever is going on in this place decides it doesn’t like us. And I think burning it down is not going to help our case right now.”
"Agreed." Nolla says, turning her back on the scene. "I am not one for bumbling around in the dark, but I'd rather just keep moving rather than to stay here..."
Jaesali carefully removes the letter nailed to the post. She opens the seal and reads:
Trespassers,
Alas, a rather tragic fate that has befallen your here companion here. Such is the price of knowledge- those books were not meant for mortal eyes. Do not meddle in my dominion in future, lest you invite such a fate for yourselves.
Signed, Lord of Norgon Manor
Tanye shudders at the sight. "Was this...one of your band? I had no idea that someone would die trying to rescue me."
A look of guilt is on her face as she accepts Tam's hand.
"Please, let's just get out of here."
(I assume you guys are going back to town?)

The party makes haste away from "Norgon Manor" and the ruined village. They finally return to the reassuring, cracked cobbles of the Old Road and spend the rest of night in their previous campsite, as the heavy rain patters away.
(For the sake of brevity, no camping checks needed)
In the morning, the recent rainfall brings a strong mildewy odor in the Corrupted Forest. Not only that, but the tracks of the bandits have been washed away. While the Old Road does lead to Trishdlae, the countless serpent-like twists and branching make it very possible for a traveler to get lost on the way.
Tanye appears much more relaxed, and eager to return to town.
"Let's go, before any of those bandits catch us."
And thus begins the journey back to Trishdale...
(Since you are going back, there's no need to do a day by day travel description. Instead, we will be using a skill challenge to determine the result of your travel! Here's how it works:
Pick any skill you are proficient with, and try to come up with a way to use that skill to help travel through the twisting Old Road, which is flanked by forests. Make a check with that skill against a DC of 12.
Whether you pass or fail, write a little story about the result of your efforts.
Wait until each player attempts one skill check before you make a second one (only if needed, and if you do make a second one it must be with a different skill).
The goal is for the group to accumulate 3 total successes before accumulating 3 total failures.
If the party accumulates 3 failures, something nasty might accost you on the way...
If you have any questions, please ask me.)

Survival 13
Helena spends the time going back to town placing the head of Cain in the corner of her mind with everything else she has seen, and directing the group away from tracks and areas on the way that could slow them or bring them to danger. She leads them, growing calmer as time passes and acting more like her usual self.

As they leave, Helena looks Tanye over to make sure she’s okay to travel before asking,
“So what was your sister trying to summon? Didn’t seem like a good thing, considering the way it was being summoned.”
Medicine check: 5
(she seems all good to me!)
Nolla is more than ready to leave. She follows away from the camp.
Jaesali will grab the other antique and a mace and follow the others.
Tam, having stayed close to Tanye since freeing her, listens with interest to her answer to Helena's questions.

Tam swallows and asks,
"You said it was rats...rats didn't do that."
The horrifying visage of Cain's decapitated head is staked in front of the manor. Rats circle around it, sometimes climbing up to nip at the flesh.
Jaesali would notice a letter nailed to the post, sealed with a wax emblem of some noble house.
