A grave expression is on the mayor's face as he reads the note. He mutters to himself and goes into a backroom, emerging with a dusty tome.
"That name...is familiar. You see, when Alycron was first discovered, nobles all around the world were scrambling to come here, trying to carve up new kingdoms for themselves."
He opens the book and traces his finger down a list of names, each with their own noble emblem.
"The explorers told them it was too dangerous to settle far from Trishdale, but many of the nobles didn't listen. They set out for the Wilderness with their servants and building material. None returned."
He points at one of the emblems- three rats devouring a snake on a yellow shield.
"That was the Norgon House. I had heard they settled on the Old Road, but something happened to them. I didn't realize, however, that their mansion is still intact. And the possibility that one of them is still alive is quite incredible. But, it is possible."
He responds to Helena, "I will make the proper notes, but I recommend that you make your own annotations in the Tavern map. That was, after all, what the First Explorer did. Before she went insane."
Tanye nods and says to the party, "We thank you again for your help. I have no idea what horrors you braved to rescue me- Trishdale is in your debt. I've gained some crucial information for the mayor regarding the bandit crisis, so if you'd please excuse us..."

"Gladly. And I don't mind cheaper if it does the job faster." Jaesali nods to the mayor and Tanye and follows Helena out.
