He looks around to see if there are any other tunnels that have appeared to replace the missing one, or if there are loose rocks, or stones or anything else that might indicate some sort of lever / lock system that the girl that ran away may have triggered, sealing them off.

"There doesn't appear to be any way for us to head into town," says Gorokum. "At the very least we should look back down the tunnels that are open and see what the situation is. There may be other tunnels that have opened up."
There must be powerful magic at work here, which makes him at least consider trying the obvious. Before going down to the next tunnel, he pushes his hand where the missing tunnel opening should be just in case it's a powerful illusion. If that feels solid, he will continue back to where they found the first child.

(It was only the unexplored that disappeared, just clarifying)
(OOC - bit confused now - I thought the tunnel they entered from had some sort of collapse and so that way was cut off, then there was one tunnel that led to the first prison, one to the halfling, one to the second prison, and then the last one was the way out - and that''s the one that's missing now - is there another one then?)

(The tunnel you entered first collapsed, its completely blocked off. The exit is wide open and can be accessed. The unentered tunnel is no longer there, it is just a wall now.)
”Then let’s head out, this place makes me in easy” Basina says and looks around. She starts heading out into the woods keeping an eye out both for enemies and friends.

”Then let’s head out, this place makes me in easy” Basina says and looks around. She starts heading out into the woods keeping an eye out both for enemies and friends.
Back at the entrance, you see Samuel and Meghan hugging each other, with the halfling in the background. It is noticeable that Meghan is twice the size of Samuel.
"Oh, I thought I'd never see you again!"
"Sissy! You awive!"
The halfling turns to you "They've been doing this for two minutes straight, it got a little annoying." He breaks up the reunion "Okay, you guys want to see your parents? Let's go home."
"Yay! Mama!"
He walks up to Basina and hands her the morningstar "I believe this is yours, and thank you for opening my eyes, please, have this. It's the least I can do." He gives you a small, light blue pendant with a brass frame "I don't know what it is, but it looks important."
Basina takes the morningstar and puts it in her pack and then admires the pendant for a brief moment before carefully pacing it away.
”Thank you my friend. We will be going in to town with you. Would you mind keeping an eye on the children and we will keep an eye on the woods?” She says and then smiles at the boy and his sister.
“Everyone ready?”

Jadyn give s a nod, staying at the back of the group keeping an eye out for danger.
Perception: 10
No danger is nearby, but there is the unsettling howling of werewolves in the distance. Once you reach the town, a woman with black hair stands worried in the plaza, but her face lights up when she sees the siblings
"Mama!" "Mom!" They say in near sync while they run to their mother. "Oh, my babies! Thank you so much, travelers. Please, take this as thanks." She gives everyone (including the halfling) 20GP that feel a little bit moist. "Come, on. Let's go home." She says to her children, then walks into town to go home. "Ok, of course when I return from capture, then I'm noticed. Meh, I'm off, bye!" The halfling walks into the tavern
Gorokum shakes his head at the behavior of the rescued halfling. Then he turns to the others.
"I need rest," he says. "We could all probably use some. I suggest the tavern for a meal and to see if they have any rooms."
As he starts towards the tavern, he continues talking.
"We can investigate the man who thinks his wife has not fully died in the morning. That would give us two days to still warn Glitzy Hollow, and hopefully find one of these gems in the meantime."
Inside the tavern, you hear about two more rumors;
"I found some sort of portal behind my house. Its too creepy for me to check out, and I sent out a journalist to check it out, but he hasn't returned in two days."
"The fabled Fountain of Truth was a legend older than the Rubies of Life, and why we came here in the first place. I think I found its location, but I'm not brave enough to face the trials to find it."
Gorokum takes in the whispers and rumors circulating through the tavern. This kingdom is very troubled, he thinks to himself. But they survived their first day, and that was worth celebrating. Grabbing a bottle from the bartender, Gorokum opens it and pours liberally into four mugs, passing each one out to the rest of the group.
"To surviving," he says. "Sometimes that's enough. Well fought today."
"What say you all? Do we discover the secret of the man's most likely undead wife tomorrow? Or try the Fountain of Truth? I think we need a lead on these Rubies of Life before heading to Glitz Hollow."
”I think you are correct my friend. I think we should remain in town at least a day to have a look around and get the take on some leads. I would also like for someone with a bit more understanding of exotic items to have a look at the pendent our Halfling friend gave us” she ponders.
”But first, a well deserved rest. Barkeep, do you have rooms available and how much for one?”

"Ha! This is no tavern, how can we fit those rooms in a one-story building. The Wrecked Tiger is over there, or you could spend 1SP to spend the night in a magic lamp!" Thock breaks down laughing.
For such blatant disrespect, Gorokum’s first instinct is to burn this bar to the ground. But he is a guest in this kingdom and much work must still be done before he can return home.
Gorokum stands and turns to the bartender, and with menace and an edge to his voice he begins to speak.
”You dare insult my comrade with your rudeness? She who protected and rescued the weak of this village? She who slayed the scourges in your woods? I hope I miss heard what you said. Repeat what you said.”
He lets his hand rest on the hilt of his Longsword, green flames dancing at the tips of his fingers.

(Investigation: 12 )
Neither of you find any clues to the tunnel's disappearance.
Basina feels a bit uncomfortable with the disappearing tunnel, tunnels aren’t suppose to disappear without a trace.
“As far as we know this cave is empty, should we bunker down and get some rest before heading in to town?” She asks the others.
