The guard gives you an eye, then loosens it "Very well, you may enter." He walks away as you enter the tent. On the far side of the room, atop a stack of assorted cloth, is Valorie, resting while grunting softly in pain. She weakly looks at Mal "...You? How did-." She looks at her sister "Rushell, how did he get in here?"
Rushell pauses before speaking "I helped him in"
"Ok, that makes sense." She turns back to Mal "Why are you here?"
"A few things. First of all:" he hands Val the healing potion, the red liquid sloshing gently in its vial. "Should make all the hurt go away, hopefully."
"Second, never got to thank you for your help yesterday. And lastly," he kneels down to whisper. "My friends heard that there's people trying to assassinate us. They mentioned 'the six people who saved town yesterday', and I'm not sure if the last one is you or our other friend who left just after we got here. Something about the pendants. We were wondering if you knew about anyone in the town who might want us dead."
She speaks softly, but doesn't take the potion "The only thing I can move is my head, I cannot take it. I'm not sure who would want all of you, including me, dead, but my best *grunts* guess would be the Black Cult, a gang of thieves who are after the Key Pendants. They would risk anything to get those Rubies of Light, and hog them to theirselves. Even if it means killing adventurers. The cult is all over the kingdom, in every town, and in the wilderness, so you are not safe anywhere from them. Just... try not to die."
Gorokum waves his staff out in front of him, not hard, but enough to gauge if anyone is close by.
"Where did this damn fog come from?" he growls.
He starts making his way across the room in the general direction of where he remembers the door to be, still waving the staff out in front, planning on opening the door to let some air in.
"Not to worry, we won't." Mal replies. "Anything else we can do for ya? Maybe find a way to sneak one of us that can heal into the tent, patch you up so you can move?"
He looks around - maybe the tent has a back flap that can be snuck into to avoid the guards.
Basina stands in the now fog filled room hearing the commotion that surrounds her. She sighs heavily and shakes her head even though no one can see her.
“Not even ten minutes of peace and quiet “ she mutters as she feels herself to the closest table.
”Idiots the lot of them. Give me the strength not to bash their heads in” she continues to mutter as she climbed the table.
She mutters a prayer and the morningstar starts to glow with a white flame. She hopes it can at least be seen as a glow in the mist.
“Enough is enough. If you all don’t stop this at once I swear by my god that I will knock each and every one of you unconscious and drag you out of here with my bare hands and I will make sure none of you will ever be served here again” she shouts as loud as she can and swings the morningstar down into the table whit all her force to give extra creed to her words.

There is only one entrance to the tent, the one you came in from. There is also a guard at every tent. From the looks of it, there is no way to sneak a friend in. "I'll be fine. Just... let me rest." Valorie says softly.

Gorokum opens the door, causing the fog to very slowly clear up. Basina strikes downwards on the table, splitting it in two. afterwards, every conscious patron goes barreling out with shouts of fear.
Gorokum goes back inside and finds the unconscious dwarf that had started things with the thrown mug. Contemplating putting a sword in him for his actions, Gorokum decides execution might not be a suitable punishment for this one. Instead he checks on the dwarf to make sure he's stable, then dumps the contents of the closest beer mug on his head to try and revive him.
When the two of you get back, you find the tavern in a complete mess. Drinks are spilled everywhere, tables are toppled with one split in two, fog rests on the ceiling, and the tavern is empty with a dwarf laying on the floor. "What the gods happened here! I tell you to look after the tavern, and you wrecked it?! Give me what you earned, I'm not letting you keep the money if the place is in this condition." Rushell holds out her hand to the four of you.
(the fog disperses when Thoradin stops concentrating, which would be as soon as the patrons cleared out.)
This was exactly what he knew would happen. "Aye. I tried to prevent the damage but with little success... We'll right the furniture, maybe we can even mend it if someone has the spell... But she will pay for that broken table over there." He pointed to Basina as he went about setting everything straight and cleaning up the various messes.
Mal’thrae glances to the dwarf, the burn mark looking rather severe.
”And you didn’t just grab the drunk inebriated man by the lapels and throw him out? You seem strong enough to do that easily- and it causes way less chaos than what looks like attempting to incinerate one of the customers alive.”
He sighs, and helps with clean-up. “Valorie’s alright, but needs some rest. She couldn’t drink the potion, so we have an extra for emergencies.”
Rushell is back to the upset look on her face. "This idiot's been giving you trouble too? He was throwing mugs at me before you arrived. Alright, get up!" She kicks at him, pretty hard, but he doesn't wake up "I said get up!" She kicks him harder, nothing. After that, she puts two dingers on his neck "Oh, my gods!" She turns back to you "He's dead!"

Basina secretly thinks that this is the perfect end to this morning, all they needed is a dead local to really cement their good reputation in this town.
She goes to the dwarf and start examining him to se if she can figure out what killed him.

The dwarf wakes up immediately when the alcohol is poured on him. Afterwards, he punches you in the face, misses, and falls over on the ground.
"Right, right." Mal'thrae sighs. "Take care, heal well."
He gives a thumbs up, tucking the potion back into his pocket for later use. He turns to Rushell. "Suppose we'll be on our way back, then."
