((I think who ever keeps one of the magic items does not have the money (with or with out his/her share of the rest) to pay a fair amount to the others, so be persuasive if you want to keep the mace))
(wow, that sounded less edgy in my head. point is, I killed a lot of monsters out there. morn may have dealt with the boss, with your help, but i multikilled when artillery was needed.)
(Fair enough, as far as Horatio is concerned. I'd say you would reasonably forfeit a good chunk of your cut to hold on to the mace, as that was one of the big win items. Since Morn eventually took the thing down, perhaps he ought to suggest what share of the gold you might return to the common pool.)
Morn scratches his chin as Samael looks over his mace, seemingly happy to hold onto the magical weapon. "You seem quite attached to that mace, Samael. And you that ring, Trinjya. Would you be opposed to adding a little extra to the payment for our passage? Say... 4 gold from you Samael, and 3 gold and 5 silver from you Trinjya? A small price for your trinkets. The remainder would be 2 gold 5 silver from each of the rest of us. If you don't feel that's fair, please, I'm happy to discuss it. It's just a thought."
(OOC - so just to clarify it. That would be: Samael = 4gp Trinjya = 3.5gp Sirq = 2.5gp Horatio = 2.5gp Morn = 2.5gp)
Morn nods, "Agreed. He will need reminding of our efforts in rescuing him. We should have plenty of his strange coins left with which to do that." He pats Frankie lightly on the shoulder, comfortingly.
Horatio forks up his portion of the payment. Upon making an end to the transaction, Horatio will scratch his chin in thought.
"Did I hear correctly that there was a sanitarium here whose expertise in helping those of weakened mind might be of good help? We could always take him back to the Inn, but I got the impression that he wasn't necessarily well-liked there. Anyways, as a start we could at least take him home. Too bad about his dog."
"Perhaps take him home to begin with," Morn replies, "At least some familiar ground might ease his mind a bit. I might spend some time at the Wizard's Tower, reading and recuperating."
((Did you just "sell" the ring fot a gold piece?))
Trinjya nodds in agreememt.
"Best to get hum home and ket him rest for some time, maybe that will help. However looking at the facts at hand, he will not be able to stay on his own. So at some point we will have to get him to the sanatorium or any other place were someone takes care of him."
(OOC - well, we could argue & negotiate on it forever. Morn is guild member & would negotiate endlessly, however I didn't play that out too much because it'd detract from the game. I figured that would be easy way to sort it. Happy if you want to chip in more.)
((Frankie clearly can't stay on his own. He may find comfort at home, but wakes the party with his night terrors, jumps and startles at the slightest noise or rapid movement, and sometimes at nothing at all.))

((So we have about 350gp worth of splittable stuff, which makes 70 gp per head. As her share, Trinjya would take the ring plus what she has spent, plus 25gp worth of coin (40gp in total). I' m really sorry that I'm so obsessed with loot.))
"Let's get Frankie home and see if we can get some more information from him aboit where all this wealth came from and then get him into ... more professional care. I hope there is enough left of him to get some questions answered."
(OOC - okay, so with Trin's dagger she found as well, our total comes to 370gp. Let's just take the 15gp off that, and it leaves us 355gp to split, of which Trin is taking 40gp to go with her ring. 315gp remains. It's not the best of splits after that, but just for the sake of sorting this, how about this? Everyone gets 71gp - even split from the 355gp that remains after paying our passage. I/Morn will share 10gp with Sirq and Horatio each as he plans to stay in town to study and research in the Wizard's Tower for the time being and so only needs a stipend to get him through.)
(If everyone is happy with that, I think we're good to continue/conclude @Spider. Thank you for this adventure, it was good fun... well except for getting stuck in the mud haha.)

(ok, but we need a few pieces to help frankie remember where he got it from.)

"quite so, a trade fair. but we should hold on to a few of the pieces, to jostle our man's memory when he comes to his senses."

Horatio = 81gp
Sirq = 81gp
Morn = 51gp
