Morn looks to the others in the group that had managed to piece together the marsh fold language, "Shall we ask our guide to take us to the spot they saw Frankie as our first point of call?"
"Yes, that seems to be a good idea. If I understood her correctly, they must have seen Frankie just before he returned to town with hands full of coin."
Trinjya looks at Hgru for a second and says:
"Do you think you can find the location where you saw our friend? Do you know the area well? There has to be something out there, a cavern, ruins or some other hideout. What ever would have attracted Frankie's attention should also attract ours. Do you know of something that would fit in that part of the marsh?
((Trinjya tries her best to translate that into the marshfolk dialect))
Hgru says goodbye to her fellow marshfolk, and starts leading you into the swamp. She pulls free a hand axe and makes quick work of a few saplings to provide those of you that don't already have a staff or poleweapon the means to help stabilize and pull yourselves out as your traverse the swamp.
As you go, she points out dangers... grassy hummocks that look like good places to step, but are loose and wobbly, and more likely to tip you over into the water... bushes that will make you itch like crazy... waterlizards lying almost fully submerged, waiting for easy prey.
Eventually she brings you to an area that is a touch drier.
"Thizns wayrn summunza thafellerz."
"This is where some of us saw that feller."

"Well, downriver takes him back towards the town, if I'm not mistaken," Morn says, looking back and forth, getting his bearings. "What landmarks are nearby that our friend might have come from? Uh... could you please translate? And Horatio, you mentioned a trail head as well, did you notice anything in particular about it?"
Horatio pauses, musing. "Just a high probability of travel, which I believe our friend has confirmed. Let's walk it a ways and see if there's anything else it can tell us." (Perhaps examine the trail with a survival check?)
Samael is about to step off into the water, when Horatio snags him by the shoulder and points him in the right direction. Horatio and Hgru take point, the marshfolk pointing out dangers to avoid, and after a few minute of walk, Horatio, you spot something fluttering from a branch. As you approach, you see a scrap of familiar looking fabric knotted tightly on the branch.

"We also have a trailhead - let's discuss this on the way. Daylight is wasting, and all that."
