From the back Flowers is trying to look around everyone and is going "Is that Floon?"  "Did we find Floon?" "Are you Floon?"

Shade picks up the piece of paper and brings it down to Marla...

"I am sorry" The man replies as he finishes dusting himself off the best he can. "My name is Renaer Neverember. I was traveling with my friend Floon when members of the Zhentarim jumped us from behind. They beat us and brought us here. They started to interrogate us but when the members of the xanthar guild showed up.. they Took Floon and I managed to hide."

"Hm." Misha hm's. "Renaer, son of the Lord." she muses. "What were zeh interrogating you about?" she asked.

"Was this one of them?" Flowers will hold up the kenku and shake them a bit 

“The Zhentarim thinks that my father embezzled a large amount of gold while he was Open Lord, and that he hid the dragons somewhere in the city. They think they can find it by using an artifact called the Stone of Golorr, which was in the hands of the Xanathar Guild until recently. Apparently, someone stole it. The Zhents thought I knew something about all of this, but I don’t. My father and I haven’t spoken in years.” Renaer replies as he moves out of the stinking closet. Looking to the kenku he would shake his head. "No, That is not one of the Zhentarim.. All the members of the Zhentarium that were in this warehouse appear to be dead." The nobile would say looking past the group towards the line of dead men on the ground. "That kenku is with the Xanthar guild I believe."

Misha turns away for a moment. She held up her wrist and touched the plate near where her pulse would be. She then started talking to herself, or so it seemed.

"Hello Mother. Father. I weel be taking an extended lunch break today. Something came up that I would like to eenvestigate. Yes. Mhmm. No, I weel be fine. Yes. I should be. I don't expect eet to take long. Of course, don't be riliducouis. I weel. See you both later!"

She then turned back to the group.

"Well." she said. "Xanathar, Zhentareem, and a large amount of money? Yes, I theenk Meesha ees en for more eenvestigating, ya?"

Alexa busies herself while Renaer is talking with giving him a full medical check to evaluate the state of his wounds and see what she can do about them.

Alexa finds a lot of bruises and small cuts on his face and the visible areas on his body but nothing serious. As Misha talks into her wrist Renaer looks at her as though she is insane before quickly shaking his head and smiling once again. "OH.. OK... Well... you mentioned looking for Floon.. Do you know where the Zhents may have taken him?"

Marla strokes Shade's feathers as she alights on her shoulder, and looks at the piece of paper...

"I believe our current theory is into the sewers." Alexa says as she finishes her examination.

The paper appears to be an unused paper bird

"Would we be able to take a rest first? I'm quite wounded and have no spells. I wouldn't be of any use to you against the Zhentarim."

As you all discuss your next move you hear the rattling of armor and the stomping of feet outside the warehouse. Suddenly two dozen members of the watch storm in through the broken door front door. "Freeze! No body move!" One officer shouts as a large mustached man in a captains uniform pushes to the front of the guards. "What's going on here... we heard reports of a disturbance" He says before his eyes move to the corpses. "And it sounds like that was a gross understatement" The captain says as he looks towards the group suspiciously. 

One guard looks at the group and then looks to the tied up kenku and then back to the group. 

"We had heard that Floon Blagamar and Renear Neverember were kidnapped by the gangs in this town and taken here. We came here, encountered these Kenku that were associated with the Xanathar gang and rescued Renear Neverember, who is right over there and can corroborate everything we've told you and explain why he and Floon were abducted to begin with."

Marla gives the watch members her best smile, and nods towards Jen. 'Thank goodness you're here. We came across the Kenku murdering these other men, and had to intervene. We were just about to go looking for the watch.' 

Shades gives a loud 'Caaawwww' in agreement.

Flowers sticks his arms up when the watch show up, but he's still holding the Kenku he was shaking at Renear. 

He points one hand at the kenku.

Jorah, still in the secret room, hears the guards come into the main room of the warehouse, and opts to stay hidden, keep to the wall. He looks at the floor, and mentally debates whether he should start digging or attempt to sneak out. Either way, he attempts to keep out of the sight of the guards.

Alexa keeps an eye on Renaer as she makes sure her hands are clearly displayed as empty and her symbol of Ilmater is obvious. "Like they said. Now, this man requires medical attention, could you perhaps help with that before you start arresting anyone?" Her voice takes on a slightly pointed tone.

Misha slowly turns and smiles softly, making no aggressive movements.
