As you all are picking yourselves back up you all notice the man wrapping bandages around the woman's ankle and trying to calm the kids down around him. He looks at you all and half smiles and goes back to tending the wounds. 

Rhogar will head over to the kids and attempt to cheer them up. "Listen, I know what it's like to be a kid in the middle of a battle... It's not pretty, but I'm a kid just like you, and if I can be brave and strong, you can too." He then takes the dagger that the creature had stuck in his leg and gives it to the dad before turning his attention back to the kid. "That dagger is for you, it's the one that the monster tried taking me down with. I want you to have it to protect yourself and your family." He turns his attention to the dad. "That dagger is for him when you think he's old enough for it."

"shall we see what else is destroyed?"

Voria stands, still uneasy on her feet. Slowly, she makes her way to the man. "What is going on here?"

The man takes the dagger and nods. "Thank you. I could not have saved my family if not for you. My name is Cuth and this is my wife, Linan. We were trying to make it to the keep. It happened so fast but there was a roar in the distance and the next thing I noticed the town was on fire. We were all told to go to the keep as it really is the only safe place in the town at the moment. Yet, those things chased after us and now there is no way we could make it back to the keep!" The man look sorrowfully at the kids and back at you. "Will you help us get to the keep? Governor Nighthill should be there too and can help with what you need?

Rhogar will look toward the group then back to the man. "There is no way we could just leave without helping. I'll glad help." He turns toward the others. "Let's get this family to the keep!"

Erickson replies to Voria "Thank you, it comes in handy now and then. As far as what the ccultists want here at Greenest, this is a raiding party looking for anything of value to steal. Including livestock and treasure."

Notching my bow, I nod to Rhogar to take the lead, while I stay about 15 feet behind the family to make sure I can shoot anything that tries to harm them. "To the keep!"

As you all make your way into the gate of the town you begin hearing chattering and screaming from the north. You cannot seem to make out what is being said but you do notice shadows approaching from the north. The man looks at you and points at the middle of the town. You all look up and see the keep high on the hill center of the flames to the west. To your south is burning buildings and to the west you see koblods plundering houses and stores.

What's the distance to the kobolds?

Seeing the fighting is far from over Voria will cast cure wounds on herself.

She then turns to the man. "Those buildings to the south, what´s there?"

(sorry i did not post, i often cant on weekends)

"more kobalds? seriously, what is going on with this?" 

(OOC: would my character know that kobalds worship dragons? i feel like its possible, as my character has high intelligence, and has experience with the cult of the dragon.)

"Those houses used to be where my neighborhood stood. Many of them are just famly dwellings. I till can't believe that they would do such a thing. Our town hasn't got much" the man says.

Rhogar will keep an eye on the shadows while guiding the others. "Let's get you to the keep, then we'll see what we can do about the remaining invaders."

You all notice a band of guards walking from the north throwing torches into house along the path. With them are two kobolds. You are too far away to heard what they are saying but through the flames you can see them walking towards you. What do you do?

Rhogar will look toward the group and motion to get behind cover. "Let's ambush them! When they get close, I'll jump out to attack, and you follow my lead."

"I say we should try to avoid them, as we need to protect these citizens." I reply to Rhogar pointing to the family. "We should try to get them to the keep undetected if possible."

"But what of the people who could be down there? Should we abandon them? Rhogar I am with you," Voria says, keeping herself connected with the natural forces around them. 

Eircson reluctantly nods his head in agreement making sure to have an arrow ready to fly when it is appropriate. 

(@DM, How strict are you with ammunition? Follow RAW recover half? Don't worry about it? Or every arrow is lost?)
