Xerronios takes a look a the map, trying to make sense of it. He'd studied maps before, both before and after leaving the plains. However, those had mostly been land maps, though there had been that beautifully rendered map of the Dakros Isles in the home of Kelltius Arronius, that wealthy merchant from Setessa. This map reminded him of that...it wasn't the Isles, of course, just put him in mind of that map.

Ritha leans over the map and squints at it, trying to determine where and how trouble with food could sprout nearby.

She places her finger on the map and deftly traces a route. "I suspect that we might want to try our luck here first," she says thoughtfully, brooding over the map.
Gnorcys moves up next to Ritha and follows the path Ritha indicates. "Looks like a Triton village is close to there." She says, tapping a spot on the map along the path Ritha indicated. "We'll probably have some time for that swim, if we wish to talk to them." She nods and gives the group a smile. "I'll get the course corrections done, and we'll head in that direction."
With the course corrections made, the ship makes good time and, within an hour, are above the area Gnorcys says the Triton village to be located.
As the ship is arriving Aughus comes to speak with Gnorcys at the aft deck. A moment later Gnorcys calls you all to talk with her there.
"It seems Karametra is with us for certain." Gnorcys says with a smile for the group. "Our food supplies have suddenly increased to the point we would be hard pressed to keep it all from spoiling before we could eat it." She nods to Aughus. "Aughus here has just informed me that the hold is straining to hold the surplus of food." Turning back to the group she nods to the sea. "We are above the Triton village now. How do you wish to move forward?"
Xerronios nodded, wondering how this turn of events could be turned to serve the needs of fate. Should he help with the feeding of the hungry village or find a way to stop it? Which would serve the needs of fate better?
Alone in his room, as they near Triton village, Xerronios casts his bone dice, asking "Should I assist with feeding the village?"
"It does seem like a good time to put the powers of this staff to good use." Spyro would say as he holds the staff tightly in his hand. If his companions agree he would activate the staff and use its power to help him and his companions to reach the village.
Io did not really like the water very much, being a warrior in heavy armor but he would agree that the staff's powers would prove very much useful here.

As the group is looking over the side of the ship they spot a large fin break the surface of the water not far off. There are several strange jerks of the shape, before smaller fins break the surface, and even a few full dolphins jump out of the water. It soon becomes clear the dolphins are bumping and prodding the oversized shark as it turns and tries to snap at them, but the fast dolphins manage to evade the jaws every time.
As you watch the shark is pushed further and further away, eventually dwindling from sight as the dolphins continue to harass it.
(OOC: been taking this slow, as I know several of the group are still recovering. We can move along if people wish, just tell me who is going to go down into the water, as the shark is now out of any danger to you doing so...)
Spyro would tap the end of the staff to the deck of the ship while activating its power. A flash of light shoots from the staff as the fins and gills sprout on all the companions. The satyr would then jump into the water.
Xerronios eyes the newly grown hair. Not exactly the answer he was expecting but it sufficed. He gathers his weapons and heads to the deck then jumps into the water with the satyr.
"It has been a while since I have been in a village of my people," Ritha says eagerly, before diving gracefully off the side of the boat, and surfacing easily once again like... well... a triton in water.

Kassiopeia stares at the maps trying to make sense of the outlines and envisioning how the lines would translate to reality.

(forgot to include the 'Perception with disadvantage' in the last post ... wasn't too hot anyway :-P )
spyro would look over his staff while puffing on his pipe paying no attention to the map

Kanlos would gather his gear and wait for the spell to be cast. (Good to go when everyone else is)

Kanlos follows along, and takes a moment to try and get used to the new environment.
Io flops overboard like a brick once the spell is cast so he can join the others. Graceful, the man is not.
