Xerronios considers joining the hunt for the mysterious medusa but someone needs to see to the selling of their ship. "If no one else is interested, or has any other desires for the ship, I will undertake to sell the Sinful Devil and it's cargo." He pauses then, waiting for anyone to respond.
After, he goes to the Captain. "Captain, I will be selling Sinful Devil for the team. However, I have little experience with ships and do not know it's value. What would be a fair price for the ship and cargo and where do you suggest I go to get that fair price, or maybe who should I see? And, would you be willing to accompany me? The...presence of ship's captain cannot but help the negotiations."
"I can help you try to find this lady-friend of yours also," Ritha tells Io. "At the least, I can ask around the market if anyone has seen a woman fitting that description while I do my shopping. I was planning to stop by an inn or watering hole of some sort anyway afterwards, to ask about the Sinful Devil. If a traveler was passing through here, there might be information in such a place."
"I cannot travel with you for the selling of the Sinful Devil." Gnorcys says with a shake of her head. "I can send Aughas though, who would be able to aid you in this."
Aughas leaves the Proud Jester with you. he lets you know what a fair price would be for the ship.
Give me a persuasion, deception, or intimidation roll, with advantage due to Aughas's help.
Everyone Else
Give me an investigation or perception check as you search for Io's female.
If you are doing something other than dealt with above, then let me know.
Gnorcys would let you know that you would be leaving at dawn the next day. You have the rest of this day, plus the night, here at dock.
(( I honestly cannot remember what I wanted Ritha to buy in town anymore... it was something common, so if I remember it, I'll try to retcon that... sorry!))
As Ritha walks through the shops, looking around in wonder at the plethora of items available in the marketplace, her excitement grows to the point that she forgot what pressing business she had there in the first place. It does, however, allow her to calm down and remember at least to search for the medusa that Io had mentioned. She also makes sure to inquire about the Sinful Devil, to see if the ship had a reputation that preceeded it... or any other people looking for it.
You spot something strange in the end of an alley as you move between shops. It is a statue of a man, who looks to have been preparing to mug someone, a dagger in one hand and a intimidating look on his face. There does not seem to be anyone who knows about a ship called the Sinful Devil though.
Io and Kanlos...
Neither of you are able to locate any signs of the female Io is looking for.
Xerronios...
You find a potential buyer for the Sinful Devil on the docks, near the harbor master's office. The woman wanted a walk-through of the ship though, so you showed her it. She clucks over some of the things that are not kept up as well, but Aughus had done some work during the few days you had the ship, so it was in a lot better condition than when you took it from the pirates. In the end she offers you 7500 GP for the ship. Aughus lets you know this is a fair price, all things considered.
Everyone...
If you wish to continue searching, then give me another investigation or perception roll, this time explaining what you are doing for the search.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Io is not going to quit as long as there are places to search and time in the day to search them. After his last attempts at searching ending in failure, he will utter a small prayer to Athreos, "Please bless me with wisdom and clarity of mind and judgement so that I may be able to proceed with my search fruitfully and steadily."
Io travels from Tavern to tavern. First he would ask the innkeeper if there had been any slim, green-skinned bundled up woman with a veil over her eyes that had come by that he can remember. He would also ask if he had heard any rumors of medusi or strange women roaming the city. He would hang around bars to soak up rumors from the patrons. Also he would often join in gambling tables and play a round or two of whatever is being played and ask the players of rumors about strange women or medusi roaming the city. For the games, he would wager as little as he can get away with, ranging anywhere from 1 CP to 3 GP per table. He would not linger in any bar for more than 30 minutes to an hour however as he has to visit lots of other public places to get as much information as he can. He will pause his search as soon as he gets some rumor or information that seems useful and reliable.
As Io travels from tavern to tavern, he naturally bumps into Ritha searching for information on the Sinful Devil. She passes along what she saw in the alleyway, and the location of the statue, remembering Io's warning about the woman's gaze.
Xerronios haggles back and forth with the woman, but mostly for form's sake. He trusts Aughus and that's enough. As they settle on 7,500, Xerronios nods. "I will have to discuss with my partners but it sounds like a good deal. Will you be here later today? Tomorrow?"
ooc: how would such a large payment be made? coins? letters of credit?

Io would thank Ritha with a bow and in the event that he didn't find some information that can trump the weird statue in the alley, he would head to investigate, hoping it would lead him closer to his target.
Kassiopeia spent most of the time in harbor on board the ship, taking care of Hermes and sleeping a lot. The past couple of days have been very exhausting. Although she is used to working hard, it is usually working a plow to prepare a field or carrying sacks of wheat for sowing. All this new fighting business and swimming and staying on her feet on the deck of a ship is tiresome. Only later in the afternoon she would leave the ship for a short shopping trip in the company of Hermes to buy feed for him and to replenish the dried rations she had given to the villagers.
Io... (Talking to people and asking questions is investigation, or maybe persuasion... You have a better mod for persuasion, so will use that.) As you move from tavern to tavern you hear of a female that matches your description. She was here some days ago though, and no one has seen her for some time now. At one of the gambling tables one of the other players looks nervous at your request, when pressed she lets you know that she, and a couple others, had tried to ambush a woman that matched your description, but she used fell magic and turned one of that player's friends to stone. From all you can find out the medusa has moved on from this location.
Everyone... You spend the day in and around the port. Any shopping you wish to do is done without issue, as long as you are not looking for anything magical the shops will have it. Just mark off the gp from your sheet. You all eventually return to the ship, where you can discuss the sale of the Sinful Devil.
With new information in hand, Io returns to the ship to check the map of the area. Where could she have gone? He tries to stare at the local map to see what possible locations she could have headed off to in such a short span of time. Ultimately, he realizes that he needs to move on from this as well and hope he can find another lead in some place else.
On his way back to the boat, Xerronios stops to do a little shopping. He refills his rations and stops at an bookseller to browse. He is delighted to find a copy of Tattersail's "Verses of the Wilds." Her famous collection of poems about his homeland and many other wild places of the world. He is even more delighted when the shopkeeper does not appear to realize the volume's true worth and parts with it for a pittance, compared to what Xerronios would have paid back in Meletis or Setessa.
He makes his way back to the ship, his face buried in the book, already composing tunes for several of them.
Ritha remembers that she wanted to buy a mirror - she was looking for a medusa, for goodness' sake! - and to restock on her rations as well. While browsing through the market, a shiny silver whistle catches her eye, and charmed by this land-dweller's toy, she decides to purchase it.
Afterwards, Ritha returns to the ship, to see what the results of attempting to sell the Sinful Devil were.
