Kaseon nods to the idea of the alchemist examining the liquid, "Perhaps just drop it off for him to examine while we explore the woods, and if we're doing it, sooner is better than later. I've no desire to be caught out in the woods at night when we don't really know what's out there. As for the guard, it might not even need be a soldier, and I think it might be best to apply it to everyone. It seems that all who fell ill were alone, at least at the time it struck them, and the only death happened while he was alone. Until we can at least determine the origin for certain, we should at least attempt to guard against the little that we do know."
Eve awaits the Mayor’s thoughts about positioning someone with the patients, at all times; and the size of the forest. And when he answers, she nods thoughtfully...
She thanks Kanithar as he offers his hand, to help her up, and follows him out once allthe others make to move out too...
Once outside, she skips a little ahead of everyone else, deliberately scuffing her boot heels in the dust a little with each step, kicking up a tiny puffs of dust as she goes.
She looks at the sky, and uses Beast Speech to cast speak with animals as she calls out a clear 'Caaww!’ to the bird she met before, just to see if it’s around. If it is, she’ll ask, “Seen anything new?.... Any glowing red eyes recently?...”.
While she waits for the bird, she walks ahead, her sadness seemingly evaporating in the fresh air. Everyone is maybe getting used to how she can shift from emotion to emotion with ease and seemingly without any kind of restraint, or filter.
She kicks a few more puffs of dust.. She walks backwards for a few steps smiling at the party.. Then she attempts a back walkover without breaking her stride...

And she’ll head with Kanithar, and anyone else who’s coming, to the house to retrieve the bottle and glasses, and then to find the Apothecary.
Kaseon watches closely as Senna examines the ring, if she doesn’t learn anything, “Perhaps we can try again later, I may be able to help.” As they move away, he’ll make a point of staying beside Senna, making sure she’s all right after the sad news.
Kaseon smiles faintly, "I've seen secrets hide as well at night as they do in daylight. But my concern was more simple than that, I can't see in the dark like some, and I'd prefer not to be carrying the only light, making us a target to everything out there."
(I'm the only one with darkvision, aren't I? Awkward.)
As the party pass the blacksmith, Eve might call to Garcis if she sees them, “Hey Garcis! I think we’re heading towards the forest to check it out, in a bit. You coming?”. She stands in the street facing him, her head cocked to one side and her tail flicking left and right behind her.
She waits for his response, then she says to everyone, “Oh! Should we check with the smithy here if the silvered weapons are finished, before we head into the forest?”.
Garcis nods as he reaches into his pack, pulling out a leather pouch like object that he places his newly repaired item into. After buckling it closed the holster is attached to a spot on his belt. "I am ready. I just wanted to check on something the smith was working on. I did not know if it would be ready or not."
"Ahh," Edge says when Kaseon replies. "No worry friend. All trap need bait."
Kaseon gives him a look for a moment, "That's kinda why I'm worried. Also, remind me when we're away from town, there's something I need to show you all."
Garcis: Krellix shakes his head, "Unfortunately while I am adept at the workings of things and understanding these types of runes, I've never had any formal training in creating or removing them. You could likely find someone in Immilmar or Mulsantir possibly. I'm sorry I can't help anymore with that. Take these though, it will help you fix and potentially craft new items of the sort."
He hands you a set of oddly shaped tools, showing you how he used them to fix your item and how to use them for future ideas.
You cast your spell and your awareness opens up slightly more than normal and you scour the rings details to determine if you have seen anything like it before. You almost give up before a sudden memory comes up of an associate in the order that was investigating a murder case. A ring like this had come up and you recall it being used to shield the mind of the wearer, keeping thoughts from being read and disguising ones true nature.
Mayor Hulmar listens to the questions pertaining to the forest and says, "The Ashenwood is the biggest forest in Rashemen, it's over 15 leagues wide and deep.* It was originally forbidden for anyone to enter because it was considered haunted and people in the past had gone in and never came back. We've been allowing the hunters to enter the edges and hunt to help support the gathering of food because of the war going on, but we don't want them going too deep without aid, which Ridley has been providing for them lately."
He ponders a moment when asked about the guard being stationed in the infirmary, "Well, I don't know if it's needed, but if it will ease your mind I will talk to Imzel about it shortly. She could probably use the help anyways."

Kanithar: You head back to Madenal's house and find the bottle along with the two glasses on the table in the first room of the house. Picking up the bottle, you take a quick whiff and realize the smell isn't coming directly from the bottle, but rather one of the two glasses on the table.
Eve watches the birds respond briefly to her call, but fly off. Happy they have no new news, she heads to the house with Kanithar to retrieve the drink. “Let’s grab both glasses and the bottle... ..Who knows what an expert can deduce from them... Also, they might need the ‘clean’ liquid to work out what has been added to the ‘dirty’ one!.. Maybe?...”.
Once they have it, the’d like to drop it off with the Apothecary.
Eve will also say to everyone, “Should we find Ridley and Judge?? ..Wasn’t she the guide to the forest? ...At the very least, it may be worth having someone with us who knows the place?”.

As the others speak about a possible guard for the ill Senna closes her hand into a fist with the ring inside. Thank you.
She closes her eyes a moment and whispers Show me your secrets.
Senna then opens her hand again and watches the ring carefully tilting her hand left and right so view the rings from different angles.

Edge follows along with everyone else, still not able to muster the same feeling of sadness many of the others are experiencing.
"Maybe Edge not good," he says quietly to himself then shakes it off. "No big mystery too good. Too distracting."
He then looks over at Kaseon.
"Not like night, radnoy?" Edge asks. "Night time best time. Day time hide secrets. Night time show true world."
Kaseon smiles faintly, "I've seen secrets hide as well at night as they do in daylight. But my concern was more simple than that, I can't see in the dark like some, and I'd prefer not to be carrying the only light, making us a target to everything out there."
