/ooc no I have where I can spend a spell slot and detect them but not ignore them.

Lana fires and arrow at the ghost that has everyone frightened even her most trusted friend.

Aregarak and Lana both connect with their attacks, their magical weapons seeming to harm the dwarf ghost. It draws back a little, screaming something in dwarvish. 

// GB were you wanting to do something? Was the yelling at the ghost an action, like did you want to try and intimidate it, or did you want to do something else? //

GB shouts and cast Magic Missle Lvl 2 at the ghost.

The magic missiles hit the ghost with a stunning impact! The horrifying dwarf screams as if in anguish, then reaches out towards Aregarak...

The ghost is rebuffed, but does not relent in its attack, still grasping at Aregarak...

Aregarak’s sword cleaves through the specter, which gives one last howl before it dissipates without a trace. 

Gradually, those who were frightened begin to feel their senses returned to them, but the aging seems to remain. Half of you now appear much older than you were moments ago.

Aregarak leans heavily against the wall to catch his breath and shake off the effects of being frightened then will go inspect the pool in the center of the room.

Obviously shaken, Bel makes his way behind the Big Guy to also investigate the pool

The pool is full of water that appears clear, but dark. It emanates a coldness as you stare into it.

“Ok guys, which way do we go now?” Bel ask still a little shaken.

"I believe east should lead us deeper in to the mountain...."

The sconce light from the great hall (behind you) only dimly lights this area. The hallways to the east and west extend into darkness, and you can just make out doorways lining the passages.

GB feeling that there is enough light to be seen by those who reside in the cavern systems, but too low for him to see clearly mutters to himself and lights a torch.

"GB cant see........  blasted..........too dark....."

The torch flickers to life.
