//Lana and Spirit are behind Aregarak just in the door way.

Lana moves her hand quickly trying to alert everyone to be ready as she draws back her arrow that is notched in her bow.

Thanks to Lana’s bow, Lana is able to tell you that imminent danger lurks nearby, but you don’t see anything.

The waterfall splashes loudly into the pool behind you, and both moisture-logged doors stand open at the far end of the room. GB’s torch is the only source of light in the room.

// Players up! What do you do when you can’t see a threat and you don’t know where it is? //

GB sensing the danger from Lana cast Mage Armor on himself.  

GB AC now 15 for the next 8hrs.

Lana takes out the helm of Telepathy and puts it on her head casting the detect thoughts to see if she can pinpoint what is near them.

Bel melts into the shadows and try’s to pinpoint the danger

Stealth 22 perception 10

Lana cannot find any threat on which to focus her detect thoughts, though her bow is still warning her of impending danger. 

Bel, likewise, searches by the waterfall but doesn't see any threat.

// What is Aragarak doing? And is Jane doing anything besides hiding? Since you're 2nd level rogue you have the option of an action on top of hiding. //

Aregarak looks around the 'empty' room, then back at his party and pulls the door shut and heads towards the stairs up next to the waterfall....

Jane notices the tension in the group and searches as well Perception 15

Jane can't see anything moving, and is looking a different direction when Aregarak notices water seeping through the door he had just closed. Without warning, the water rises up into a pseudo-form and moves to engulf the minotaur! 

// Aregarak, please make a DC 13 Dexterity Saving Throw or be grappled. //

[DEX save: 21]

Aregarak dodges out of the way and the watery thing splashes down onto the ground, quivering and wobbling like a sentient pool around the minotaur’s feet.

// Players are up! The ooze is in Aregarak’s space //

// are we rolling initiative or just going? //

Aregarak roars in confusion as he's attacked by a........puddle? and stabs down with his greatsword

// All players can take their actions now, we’re just doing 1d20 for initiative for the players, and 1d20 for the enemies. Side initiative, nice and simple. //

Not knowing what to think of what he just saw, Bel rushes over to help his friend
