The grinning woman, so confident a moment ago, falters for a moment under the combined fury of the group. She stumbles back with a shocked expression, and before she can regenerate, a lance of energy hotter than a thousand furnaces engulfs. She shrieks as her dry flesh lights up from Alev's spell, and you watch as she crumples into a black ash before your eyes with a scream of pain. With a growl, the man atop the roof shouts out, "Give us the bones!" as he angrily launches yet another arrow at the soft avian.
Shortbow Attack: 18 Damage: 6
The other spawn rush towards the group and close the distance, but can't attack this turn.
At this time, you can hear shouts of alarm and the sound of feet drumming across the cobblestone a few blocks away. The sound grows louder as you continue the fight.

Grumbling under his breath as he writes a quick message on a scrap of parchment, Skip fixes it to Nooks leg and sends him off to pass the message on to a guard. With that done, he pops back up out of hiding to loose another arrow at the spawn shooting at Alev
Alev flinches when yet another arrow harms him, but he doesn't let go of the bag of bones. Hearing the steps approaching, he gets nervous. Are those people coming to help us... Or more monsters coming our way? And if those are people, how do I know they aren't going to be shooting first and asking questions later? He thinks.
"They are too strong!" He yells at the others, as he starts to fly. "We need help against these vampires, or they are gonna kill us!"
As he starts to try to flee, he sends a message to Rudick. "We can't let these things have the bones, I'm taking them to the church. Think you can hold them off?"
Without waiting for his answer, he will try to fly away and go to the church, holding the bag tightly as to not let it fall even in the case he gets shot down. He also will try to avoid the direction from where the shouts and the drumming steps are coming from if possible, taking another route instead.
Not sure what should I roll for to try to escape or if I should roll at all, but a DEX check is a DEX check:8
Seeing Alev fleeing with the bones, Leann nods her approval. She squares ehr own shoulders and faces off with the nearest spawn...
green flame blade To hit: 10 Damage: 5 If a hit then 4 fire damage to enemy within 5 feet of the one she hits.
With her blade glowing green with flickering fire, Leann strikes at the vampire spawn nearest her, but it easily dodges the strike, her blade slicing through empty air. Growling in frustration, Leann brings her blade back for her next chance to strike at the thing.

This time without looking back to Alev, Rudick simply answers via the spell, -I will manage, and so will the others. Now go quickly. Bring reinforcements if youc an after- He requests as he finally sets his sights on the next spawn, the quiet one, assuming the others hadn't harmed another, ready to bring the literal hammer down on its skull. Mid-charge however he spoke again a word; one both a war cry and a request of a miracle to further mend his wounds in order to continue unmaking the entities arrayed before him.
Bonus Action: Cast (1st level)Healing Word on Self, restoring 5.
With his precious bundle, Alev flees the scene of combat and races towards towards the church. The spawn on the roof growls in frustration and launches a last arrow at his fleeing form.
Shortbow Attack: 21 Damage: 9.
The other spawn rush into the fray as Skip's familiar takes flight with its message. The silent one takes a heavy blow from Rudick as Sergei places his curse upon the undead.
The spawn used their actions to move back to engage the group.
Adrenaline running high, Alev doesn't react when the arrow hits him immediately as he flies from the scene, but he's weak and dizzy from the wounds and the pain. Still, he endures and tries to reach the church.
When and if he gets there, he calls out to Father Lucian, carrying the bag of bones close to his chest.

Rudick bites back a retort and just keeps up the pressure on his more taciturn foe. Though Leann's idea is one he'd keep in mind, the Orc would yet curbed any hope of escape including himself.
As Skip melds into his surroundings, Rudick drives home another solid strike with his hammer. The silent spawn grunts in pain, and anger fills his dark eyes.
Just as all starts to look bleak, you finally see who was approaching. Rounding the corner of the street, you can see a mob of angry townsfolk wearing battered leathers and wielding an arrangement of time-worn weapons. Leading the charge are Ismark and Ireena, both with their longswords drawn. As they see the predicament of the party, the group of village guards led by your companions charge forward with a roar of anger and discontent. The spawn falter for a moment, and the vampire atop the roof says vehemently, "This isn't over." As if on some unheard signal, the vampires break off their attack and begin to flee through the streets, and the one on the roof glares furiously at Alev's retreating form for a moment before hopping down and disappearing from sight.
Seeing the retreat of the vampire spawn, Skip materialises from the shadows, pulling his hood down after slinging his bow. Stepping up to Ireena and Istmark, mopping his brow, he comments
”We are right glad to see you my friends. Not a moment too soon. These spawn are devlish tough”
Sergei allows his hex to dissipate as he hastily pulls out his dagger and brandishes it as if that is what he had been using to fight. Not dark magic, nope, definitely none of that around here.
"Thanks be to Torm for your arrival." Leann says with a nod to the siblings. "Those things are indeed difficult to take on. We need to gain more skill before we face them again, and I doubt if this will be the last we see of them."
Rudick snorts at the comment from Leann. But without looking away from where the creatures ran off to, he adds, "A sentiment they have already readily declared." He then looks from what remained of the female spawn downed earlier in the fight to that of the coffin maker and huffs. "Foolish man. What could've droven him to allow such creatures reside in his home?"He asked aloud, but to noone in particular.
Then with a final sigh, he hooks the Whar-gash back at his side and joins the rest proper, intending to wait for the inevitable questioning if any guards had give up on the chase.
