Just so you guys know, you could probably get much more information from the unconcious Redbrand at Kyle's feet. Just a hint. The Townmaster really has nothing else to say to you guys.
I'll give you guys a moment to see what you guys do.
Coryn sheaths his sword, then leaning forward to pick up the unconscious Gnome Wizard.
"Can.. Uh... Anyone restore some health to him? Or do I need to go ask the lady at the shrine?" He asked, looking over at his allies. While the Half-Elf was capable in combat, he was not the healing others type.
OOC: The Redbrand only knocked me down to 1 HP. I'm still standing because I never went to zero. Arcane wards are great :)
Cedrik summons his familiar and looks through its eyes so he can get his bearings. Whispering to it, "I'm going to keep you around more often. I'd rather get weird looks than not have you when I need you." Turning to his companions, "I could use some help to patch the wound on my forehead so I can see. Do we want to take the unconscious Redbrand to a safer location or interrogate him here? I have some rope to tie him up if needed."
so as level two I took cure wounds, do I need to take a long rest to have that take effect? Have we had one of those? I seg gest we do go have one now though. If I can cure wounds on Cedrik for 6
kyle picks up the unconscious man and carries him back into the townmaster hall, and to the town master got a cell for this guy? if so he throws them in it.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
calm, and cold, Kyle says to the man, I don't think you are alone in this. So I ask you one thing, where are the rest of the scum like you? If you don't tell me I'll give you to the man with the warhammer out there.
OOC: lol you keep going back to the Town Master but we've all but been directly told that he doesn't have anymore info. I think our effort would be better used interrogating the Redbrand we caught.

"Here's the thing, bud. I don't think you're actually a bad guy. Just someone that got put in a shit situation, and you did what you had to in order to survive. I've been there, trust me. I want to help you break the chain. Get you on the straight and narrow, where you can care for yourself without having to worry about being stabbed. However, to do that I'll need some information. So tell me, where can I find the boss? The big guy at the top of the food chain? If we take him down, then you can easily be free from this all." Coryn stated, kneeling in front of the jail cell. He spoke quietly, his voice calm and concerned. The Half-Elf stared directly into the Redbrand's eyes, a soft smile spread across his face. He had grown up in crime, and knew that guys like this tended to respond best when they thought there was a way to go scott free from their crimes.

The Redbrand confides in you some important information. All of it, in fact. So listen up.
The Redbrands are a recently new group of thugs and bullies led by a human wizard named Glasstaff, so named because his magic staff is made of glass. A mysterious figure called the Black Spider has hired Glassstaf and the Redbrands to frighten off adventurers and intimidate the locals, for reasons unknown. The Redbrand's hideout is located at Tresendar Manor, at the edge of town. That is all the Redbrand knows.
Upon hearing this news, Sildar looks very pale. Iarno had a glass staff........
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Thank you for that. When we take out this Glasstaff, we'll come back" Coryn stated, standing back up. He turned back to the others, smirking as he did so.
"Who's up for taking down a wizard? Odds are, we cut off the head, and the body will whither with it. So taking this guy down is all it should take to at least free the town a little." The Half-Elf commented. He then used his Fiendish Vigor to cast False Life on himself 5
After the interrogation, Hardi will make his way back to the group, cleaned up and ready to go! In fact, his demeanor has changed back to his normal cheery self. "Hey fellas! Get anything useful outta that Redbrand hooligan?" Assuming someone fills him in..."Hoo boy...that there's a heck of a conundrum, eh? " He pats Sildar's shoulders "We'll look into it, friend. We need to take out these Redbrands, ya know? Run'em outta town and find out who this...uh...what was it? Black Spider? Yeah, who this 'Black Spider' fella is." Hardi once again rests the heavy head of his mighty hammer on his shoulder. "I'm ready whenever you guys are."

It's ok to take a long rest. Dress those wounds.
The Townmaster locks up the Redbrand. He's got plenty of room in the cells.

After making sure Cedrik is alive, Coryn follows Kyle into the Town Master's.
"Any way we can revive this guy? I have some questions for him...." He asked, shifting his Hex to the captive Redbrand. Disadvantage on Wisdom checks.
Sure. If you want to question the Redbrand, go right ahead. The Townmaster looks very nervous.
For those that wish to question him, ask ONE question, so make it count.

I think he is questioning the Redbrand.
If so, he thinks you're about as scary as a newborn deer.
Anyone else? =P
OOC: Oh okay! I just remember a lot of talk of going back to the town master yet again lol xD

OOC: Natural twenty, baby!
he will be a devoted servant of you forever. :)
I thought you could only have one inspiration at a time, no?
OOC: Oh shit, you're right. I'll remember that for the future. Luckily the first roll was the 20 @_@
KABLAMMMOOOO! Nice roll, man!

perhaps someone had a close encounter with these redbrands so maybe we look around and find them
Basically, the whole town is being bullied by the Redbrands. Their hideout is in the Tresendar Manor, as the Redbrand prisoner mentioned.
After the interrogation, Hardi will make his way back to the group, cleaned up and ready to go! In fact, his demeanor has changed back to his normal cheery self. "Hey fellas!
