Brugo shakes Hardi's hand back. Usually, he's not so quick to make friends, especially with dwarven men or women; most looked at a half-orc and saw Orc. It was nice to see a dwarf look at him as someone of value. He respected that.
"Yes, forward after these vermin; lest they pollute this world more. And if there are people we can save we need to do so. It is only right." He will say as he helps Hardi hide the cart then follows the path Kyle has taken.

"...Debts must always be paid, sometimes in more than blood and gold. But this is Ordo Ursa," Ren places his hand on Erakas's chest, right where the Dragonborn's heart is. "Right here. And it always has been and always will be. Don't ever forget that. Because I won't."

"I fear for Gundren. These goblins had only a small chance against us but if our numbers were fewer and the goblins had the element of surprise, they may have been a far greater challenge. Gundren had only himself and his companion. If these horses are theirs, we should follow the path to discover their fate. Even if they are not, I believe that Gundren would understand any delay due to an investigation of the fate of these travelers. I say that we follow the path."
Hardi just nods. Cedrik makes a good point. On that note, he readies his shield as well. He'll attempt to keep a keen eye out for any further trouble. A few goblins just tried to ambush them. It's clear they've been doing that little trick for some time. There's got to be more!
Hardi, you noticed that there are about 15 different goblin tracks leading back and forth, from the the ambush site to northwest down the path...but for now...all is quiet. No other goblins in the area.
When we finish the marching order, and begin to move, the story will progress.
Brugo will walk up front with Hardi, he was used to leading the way and keeping his eye out for enemy ambushes. He takes slow deep breathes, scanning the trees and the bushes. Little goblins could be hiding anywhere.

Kyle does not 'March' but rather follows the party in trees beside the trail, he is well experienced in the forest and hopes to fool the enemies into thinking them to have smaller numbers.
HARDI and BRUGO, KRIV, CEDRIK and KYLE keeping pace off the side.
The path winds and twists through the ever growing forest, the wind picking up a bit. Through you can hear the occasional chirp of a bird, or a rustle of some small animal along the trail, nothing of interest occurs. At times the forest is completely silent, and it's a bit unnerving, as if something is watching, waiting. But not. You travel for about half an hour along the trail..
Hardi and Brugo, i'm gonna need some PERCEPTION checks please.
Keeping a keen eye on their surroundings, Hardi looks for any and all signs of danger. He mostly just tries his best to look cool. He's got to get a great follow-up to the fight in order to keep people interested!
the Gods favor you this day, and you discover a snare trap on the trail, about to be triggered. Who knows what untold millions of damage it could have done to you, or your party. =P It can be swiftly disarmed easily. (No roll)
"Woah!" He holds out his hammer in front of Brugo. It was more to steady himself than anything else since it was his own foot hovering dangerously close to the snare. With a little help from the rest of the group, it's disabled. Huzzah!
"Woo that coulda been a real humdinger if I'd been snagged" Hardi just gives a nervous chuckle.
Hardi comes trundling up and gives a whistle "That's some slick work there, friend. " He offers a hand to help Kyle up. "Let's keep goin'. If they're layin' traps, then I'd say we're on the right trail, ya know?"
Following the goblins' trail northwest, you come across a large cave in a hillside five miles from the scene of the ambush previously. A shallow stream flows out of the cave mouth, which is screened by dense briar thickets. A narrow dry path leads into the cave on the right-hand of the stream.
It's starting to darken as early evening is approaching. It gets quiet as you emerge from the forest path to the cave. For some reason, your heart quickens, as if danger could be around the corner. Silly mind. Playing more tricks. Right..?
MECHANICS: (A) There is the path to the mouth of the cave, (B) a stream flowing FROM the cave, (C) and a very thick briar to the right of the cave entrance that you can't see through.
DO NOT FORGET: Everyone should have 75xp at this moment.

For the marching order, Hardi will take the front.
Kriv will be behind Hardi since everyone else has proven themselves competent in the last fight and doesn't feel the need to lead them

Cedrik will follow behind Kriv.
As you guys discuss the plan of action, afternoon approaches and the wind blows a bit colder.
HARDI, KRIV, CEDRIK.. (so far, in the marching order)

Hardi,
the Gods favor you this day, and you discover a snare trap on the trail, about to be triggered. Who knows what untold millions of damage it could have done to you, or your party. =P It can be swiftly disarmed easily. (No roll)
Luckily, it did not. Nice roll =)
There may be more traps like this ahead, I will go ahead a check the trail for danger.
Kyle then runs ahead, still in the trees to avoid activating a similar snare with his own foot, but on the lookout for more potential threats.

Kyle, nice roll.
Being observant has it's rewards, and you spot another trap at the very last moment - a hastily made pit about 6' x 10'.
No one's fallin down today!
Nice job. Fortune favors you guys today. Up the path we continue........
Kyle quickly and efficiently removes the trap and settles down to wait for the party.
Hardi comes trundling up and gives a whistle "That's some slick work there, friend. " He offers a hand to help Kyle up. "Let's keep goin'. If they're layin' traps, then I'd say we're on the right trail, ya know?"
I guess i would have to agree with you man. I scout ahead some more.
Kyle then runs into the trees again and scouts the next section of the trail.
