"GhHbth! THIS one SMELLS!" Sharptooth mumbles as he uses the tip of his scimitar to nudge the half-elf onward. They make their way to the cave entrance. Almost there. Goblin, half-elf, goblin. That's was the marching order. They we about 50 feet from the mouth of the cave as a huge boomerang whizzed over Sharptooths' head, nearly hitting his noggin'. As his head turned to follow the path of the boomerang, he heard a fiery explosion, and all that was left of his fellow goblin marcher was his boots, which were on fire. That was the last thing Sharptooth saw as an arrow went into his left eyeball and right out the other side of his head. He falls to the ground and doesn't get up again. A sacred flame makes sure the boots pop in holy fire, startling the newly freed prisoner, looking around for his saviors. Looks like he's just had the most amazing stroke of luck.
Kriv sighs in mild annoyance, hoping to get to use his handaxe soon. That's what he gets for rolling a 3, he thinks. =P
'No, you should definitely trust the Dwarf. Who cares if you just met him? He might be useful in finding another shard to this... Thing' Coryn thought to himself as he was prodded forwards by his goblin captor. He let out an audible sigh, not in the mood to comment back at the goblin over his odor. Coryn was smelly? Sure, that's realistic. It definitely wasn't coming from either of the little green men that were surrounding him. If either of them even knew what a bath was, he would be shocked.
And shocked he was as the situation around him went from regimented, to complete chaos. One second he was being pushed along to who knows where, and the next both of his jailers were dead. Not just heart attack dead either, but brutally murdered. The goblin in front of him was hit dead center by a ball of flames, swiftly turning into little more than a pile of ash. He turned around to see where the attack came from, just barely catching the scene as an arrow shot into the back of the head of the other goblin. The goblin's body hit the ground, a light thud following it.
'The bloody hell just happened?' He thought, before hearing a male voice call out to him. Coryn spun towards the voice and booked it, not needing to be told twice to get away from the corpses.
Cedrik grins as he sees the effect of his party. The goblins didn't even have a chance to react. He is filled with even more joy to see the half-elf free. When the half-elf gets to the group, he will cast minor illusion to create the image of a large rock (max size allowed by spell) in front of them to try to further conceal the group from any creature watching.
Brugo will look the half-elf prisoner over. Is he tied up, are his hands free?
"Are you okay?" The half-orc asks the Coryn. He stood tall, taller than most and he was built like the rocks that forged the other half of his race eons ago. Looking down at the half-elf he tried to make himself look less imposing. A lot of good that will do at his size, but he wasn't trying to scare the man.

"...Debts must always be paid, sometimes in more than blood and gold. But this is Ordo Ursa," Ren places his hand on Erakas's chest, right where the Dragonborn's heart is. "Right here. And it always has been and always will be. Don't ever forget that. Because I won't."

Kyle looks the half-elf in the eye, Have you any combat skills? If not I suggest you head that way, he gestures down the trail the party came from. but keep your eyes peeled for traps, they are down there
To the group, I suggest we plan our next more, for these goblins are clever and we have been lucky and I do not want to push that luck.
Hardi just watches as his radiant flame just sorta sputters and scorches the remains of a goblin. "I uh...I've never been good at all that magicky stuff, ya know? " He clears his throat and turns to the Half-Elf. "Oh hey there, friend! Looked like you were in a dilly of a pickle, eh? Name's Hardi Dayhammer, by the way. Nice to meetcha!"
The rock illusion provides enough concealment for all of you, in addition to the bushes. As Coryn runs towards the main group and have you hasty introductions, you notice two goblin guards rush out FROM the dense thicket area and stop around the mouth of the cave - both looking around complete bewildered at hearing some commotion a moment ago.
If you guys decide to do something, you have surprise.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Brugo brings his finger to his mouth and does the "shh" motion.
Brugo goes for his boomerang and then remembers he already chucked it.He looks out to the goblins, he wouldn't be much help if he ran out there and died. But maybe...
He decides to leave the party and stealth to the side of them about 20 feet. And if he's not as quiet as he'd hope, maybe it will make them come investigate closer. Closer to being taken down. It's always about the body count. Unfortunately, as that is, Death was just a way of this lifestyle choice. He rolls away from the group, how expertly as he can in this dense forest.

"Uh, hi" Corvyn says to the group, noticing a large rock appearing behind him. He looks across the faces of those that saved him, a little thrown off by the rag tag group of adventurers. However, they looked like they knew what they were doing, weapons and all that on their person, and so he would save to many questions for later. He was just happy to not be next to the goblins anymore.
"Yeah, I can defend myself pretty well. Actually, I might need some help saving a guy I know that was just kidnapped" He stated, unbuttoning the top button of his shirt to reveal the Chain Shirt he wore underneath. He was lucky, the goblins hadn't had enough time to strip him of his belongings. His longsword still sat at his side, and his shield still rested on his back, partially obscured by his long grey, almost white, hair. He knew he stood out, most people didn't wear long red trench coats in the wild, but who said you couldn't look good while defending yourself?
"The name's Coryn" He got out, right before he noticed something moving from across his peripheral vision. He stopped talking, slowly turning to see what it was. More goblins, just great, but this time he wasn't being ambushed. The Half-Elf wasn't just going to wait around to get captured again, pulling his shield off his back with one hand as he reached for the orb he kept tucked away in his coat with his other. He stepped out from behind the freshly formed rock, holding out the orb and firing a beam of crackling purple energy from it towards the goblin closest to him.
