Watching Zal's arrow fall short, Thili charges at the Lazy Goblin. Her concern for the more serious one is high, but she'll do what she can, considering.
“Our goal is to rescue the girl, if we bind and gag these two there is a chance they might escape, cause trouble for us at the least opportune moment, and hinder our rescue. It a lot better than they would do if the roles were reversed. These two just happened to be unlucky enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. My vote is to slit their throats and make sure they won’t trouble us in the future, it I’ll go along with what the group decides.”
Sechirehime looks to the goblins. She says to Jasper, "They would not likely spare us if the roles were reversed....But, I think mercy is what separates us as people versus...monsters. Binding them is far less risky than one might think. We could always bind them with rope, and tie them high into a tree, so they have little chance of escaping."
(Jasper keeps a lookout to make sure nothing sneaks up on you all, but it looks like these are the only Goblins in the general area.)
DMs note: This is the part where I stand back and let you guys figure stuff out, just keep in mind if you kill them in cold blood your alignment may change. For example, Zal, you are currently Neutral Good, so it would affect how your party members view you.
Mika perks out to jasper's location before running towards him and looked at them "is rituals... apparently they're being instruct by their 'boss' who i may assume want to take her as bride" she said before she looked into her large back and pulled out a spare rope "Here, i have one" she said before she looked around keeping an eye out of the 'boss' that the goblin is talking
"We must stay clear... he might come back any minute"
OOC: Understood, he’s fine with whatever the group decides.
Food for thought: What’s the difference between us tying them up and then bear coming along and mauling them to death and us quickly dispatching them? In both cases our actions cause them to die, one way horribly, the other cleanly. The “good/humane” thing of tying them up may not be so. Rangers witness survival of the fittest nearly everyday, Zal would take no pleasure in dispatching the goblins but understands it may be needed to ensure they save the girl. Interesting moral choice/conundrum.
“Great Mika! Let’s tie up the serious goblin with your rope and gag him. Take him over to a tree and hoist him up by his feet.” When the goblin is tied up, Jasper searches him for anything useful. Perception16
”Can anyone else take care of the lazy goblin?” Jasper asks the rest.
Thili would prefer not to outright kill them now that they are unable to defend themselves. Sure, they might not do the same were the positions switched, but it's a matter of personal merit. "At the very least we should see what sort of ritual their boss is performing. Or if their allies might come looking for them..."
(Jasper searches the Goblins as he helps get them tied up. He finds 3cp, a lint collection, and a small glass vial with a foul smelling liquid inside. It appears to be some sort of Stink Bomb.
The group works together to tie up and gag the Goblins, then tie them up hanging from a tree where they won't be much trouble to you all.
You all take a look at the doors in front of you: They appear to be made of a smooth, white stone with some intricate carvings on them. Jasper peers thru the partially opened stone doors and see some stone stairs going down into darkness, but the angles and lack of light keep you all from seeing more than 10-15 feet in.)
What do you all do?
Also, please go ahead and tell me what order you are going down the stairs. Just pick a number between 1-4, first come first serve. And, just to get ahead of the curve, please give me a Preemptive Initiative Roll for future use.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Jasper casts Eyes of Night on Mika so she will be able to see in the dark.

Jasper looks to the group and tells them, “I can only see about 15’ ahead. Whom ever goes first needs to be very quiet. I also found this vial of smelly liquid on one of the goblin. Could prove useful.”

I agree to get rid of them if they don’t have any information to give.
”Mika! You heard them talking. What did they say?” Jasper asks.
”We should tie them up in the mean time. Anyone have rope?” Jasper asks the group.
”We should ask them where the girl is?” Jasper suggests to the group.
