I'm just figuring out how many people I can take on at once. Doing the prologue will be a real challenge of my DMing skills to keep track of everything so you all can focus on RP.

I am probably coming a bit late to this but it seems like the exact sort of RP heavy thing that I love. So I'm going to put myself forward anyway with a sort of revision of a character I have played before and who worked out really well for RP (essentially retired with a broken heart but that's another story). So this character us pulling in some of the same background ideas.

Caerwyn a High Elf who has spent many years as a slave, therefore who has not necessarily got the usual racial features for being a High Elf, especially not the martial weapons. She will probably end up either a mage or an artificer (was an artificer before and I love the class) but let's see how that works out. Really driven by a hatred of slavery and a desire to protect people from having to suffer what she suffered. I imagine her as young for an Elf but old for most other races, anywhere in the 50-80 age range probably fits the idea that she has spent a long time as a slave.

Hello Everyone-

I wanted to post on here so as not to slow down the narrative of the game. I'm having trouble with my settings (I apologize, while I am an experience player I am green to the Play by Post genre). I want ot receive notifications when people post in the main story thread- and I went into settings and tweaked them (to no avail). In my notifications it says I am "Subscribed' to the thread but- the only way I know someone has posted is to go onto Beyond and click on the bell (notifications). When I get a PM I am sent an email.. I am thinking there is something I am missing but- no clue what it is! 

Far as I know, thread replies are by site-notification only.

Go to your profile -> My Account -> Notification Settings -> check "Threads you are subscribed to"

I think that's it.

You should receive an email every time someone replies to a thread you are subscribed to. In theory.

Don't forget to Save Preferences.

It says that I am subscribed- and everything is saved preference wise. So, fingers crossed. 

Yeah.  I have same situation. This was working for me until recently, but for the past few days I'm not getting the email notifications.

Weird- but maybe it’s just temporary. Thanks!
