Flindrinkin will request everyone to stand back while he makes his way cautiously around the room/shrine. Quietly but not stealthfully he will proceed, continuing to cast Jump from his ring in hopes that he could react quickly enough should events require it. He will not interact with the frozen statues or shrine, just pass by them and be wary of any movements other than himself.
As you make your way around the room, the only things that stick out are the empty shrine, and the dead body. But the rest of the room is just more of the ice covered walls, and your feet crunch on the frost of the floor. There are 2 doors one of the left and right walls from when you entered.
With that roll you sense there is something off about the body, before you get close to it. Flin you see some evidence of a rune or two etched into his skin around the its jawline. You believe you should avoid touching the corpse, after the all clear Siegfried enters the room and gasps when he sees the shrine empty. He looks at Ambrose as he asks about sword A...a...a... ah yes, that is where the Runeblade should be resting. It is unnerving to know that they have it... That blade represents a turning point in our history. I grew up not believing in its power, but being here for as long as I have, I felt its power. It has a presence of it's own. It felt like cold, unyielding justice. And now that feeling... is just gone... He looks around the room and see the corpse on the ground and makes to rush to it, being stopped by Flin. These bastards have taken too much, done too much. He looks at the body, Tarick, I am sorry you had to die. I will tell Marty you died bravely, thinking of her...
((You have 2 exits in the room, one on the right side of the room, that has a door and one on the left side that doesn't have a door.))
What are you wanting to figure out about the blood?
(not really trying to figure a spicific thing out, just generally looking at it. things like who made it? where are they now? how old is it? and other details like that)

Flindrinkin would like to investigate the crushed frost leading to/from the entrance with no door. Can he tell if the crush marks were made by bipedal creatures or are they akin to animal tracks. Can he determine a direction of travel in the crush marks? Heal to toe marks or hoof direction, etc. Since the blood leads out of this room, we can assume that some went that way. Was the travel all from the no door entrance to the door?
"the Runeblade?who has it? where is it? when did you last see it? Alex questions the man
The blood being so thin is hard to determine the timeframe of, it has completely frozen solid.
Siegfield looks at Alex and says Yes the runebalde, as I have been incapacitated for a long time up stores, I don't know who or where it is, but I think it's safe to assume the intruders have taken it. The last time I saw it was my last shift in the Maw the day before the attack.
Flin you see tracks that are larger than even your own, they are bipedal in nature but more beastie than human. The doorway leads to a dark hallway who lights seem to have been disabled somehow. The tracks seem to come into the room, and leave by the same way. The other side, you see blood drag marks that lead from the stairs to the shrine area leaving behind a small pool and continuing on through the door. The tracks associated with those are definitely medium sized humanoid creatures.
"Neither. I'm still half-convinced we've fulfilled our end of the bargain here, but if we must... I must agree with Siggy. Beasty's, well, they tend to not be quite so reasonable in the presence of a tender cutlet like myself."

((OOC: sorry I have not been very active on this for a while))
Alex follows the group, spear in hand, at the ready. he looks around, taking the whole room in.
OOC: what does he see? should I roll a perception check?
"I have a bed felling about this..." Alex says
OOC: can I take the ready action to prepare my haste spell, so when/if I get attacked, I cast haste on myself?

Flindrinkin will call out to the group,
"Do you want me to examine the corpse? Or do you want to come over first?"

While we’re examining might as well do a medical check.

"Shouldn't... ah... the sword be, well, somewhere over there?" Ambrose gestures towards the shrine.

Can we determine which door was more recently used? Blood streaks, crushed frost on the floor?

It looks like both exits were used, but the blood leads to the doored exit. There is just crushed frost leading to the other door.
Alex starts walking toward the one the blood is leading to, investigating the blood.

“Alright, do we chase the beastie that fled into the dark hallway, or do we follow the ones who are bleeding or have already bled out?”
Flindrinkin continues without waiting for an answer,
”Siegfried, what do each of these passages lead to and what do you know about traps, active or inactive?”
