"Some sort of alarm system?" Cade asks as the sounds from the first door opening comes from behind them. "Guess we should expect those back where Junior was leading us probably know we are here now..."
The middle doors both open on a blank wall. The clanging did not seem to be muffled in any way, so likely didn't come from the hallway to the barracks (due to the closed door).

"If its a trap it sprung. Same if its an alarm. Nothing we can do about either except move forward. Since it looks like we've cleared this room lets get to the other one." Barnabus follows Kina to the Gnoll room.
"Same thing here, those doors definitely had an ulterior purpose but we need to keep moving in case it released something." Lets get to them barracks." With that Barnabus moves to the southern east most door and waits for the rest.
OCC: once everyone has posted to join Barnabus he'll open the door.

Wil looks closely at each room for hidden things (how many Investigations do you want me to roll) and at the ground to discern traffic patterns an who/what went by
Virtually all traffic comes and goes from the easternmost door in the gnoll encounter room. The hallway behind the westernmost door has very little (but some) traffic.

(A bit turned around mapwise, but Wil’s intent is to not leave potential foes behind to help avoid the possibility of an attack from behind. Wil is good with whatever plan provides them the most “security”)
Kina ponders, then points to the hallway from the gnoll room. "Maybe we should check for any more captives before we commit to full open combat with the rest of the barracks. If the alarm has roused them, it might be better if they're forced to search for us rather than stumbling upon the bulk of whatever forces are here, unless there were never that many here to begin with." "Plus... I don't want to leave any stones unturned if it means we don't leave behind any more captives. This place is full of old torture equipment and prison cells... I wouldn't be able to sleep knowing this place wasn't searched thoroughly."

(OOC: My apologies, but apparently my brain re-wrote a piece of the map inadvertently. The original map had the SW door as another 10x10 empty chamber and the hallway that I said connected there connect by the stairs to the cistern. I will stick with what was written, so the SW door has a hallway behind it, will extend 40' and turn to the right.)

Cade gives a nod of acceptance. He trundles over to the newly discovered hall, taking the lead as they move in that direction. His claws make a scratchign sound as he walks over the smooth stone, and his massive head sways side to side as he keeps an eye on the way ahead.
The hallway turns to the right after 40', and then right again 40' later. After the second turn, the hall opens up after 20' into what appears to be a series of crypts.

In the gnoll room, the central door again sticks and you feel something release, but no sound this time. The westernmost door opens onto a hallway.

“Western most door first? It has the least traffic so most likely empty and easy to clear.”

"Do we want to handle the barackes before checking out this new hall?" Cade asks into the group's minds.

(You are currently in the room where you slaughtered the gnolls. SE door leads to cistern and barracks. SW door has an unexplored hallway.)
